keep I think most clinics keep you on the progesterone until somewhere around 8-12 weeks, when the placenta takes over. I will ask at my scan appointment next week, if all is going well.
choc I'm feeling ok, thanks. The insomnia has eased slightly - I managed to sleep until 5am today. I carried on my POAS every other day this morning and the line keeps getting encouragingly darker. I might stop after one more and then wait for the 6 week scan.
I've told lots of people including family about our fertility woes (frankly it was pretty obvious after getting married at 34 when I had always maintained I wasn't bothered!). I told 4 people about the actual cycle - my 2 closest female friends who by some bizarre coincidence both have children from IVF and two other friends who have been very supportive over the past couple of years. We ended up telling Mr Euro's brother as well as he was in London on what happened to be EC day. We were supposed to be meeting him in town for a drink, but as I was a bit groggy to contemplate standing in a bar, he came to the house instead and we told him why I was feeling a bit fragile. I've been unsure as to whether or not to tell my mum and dad. My mum has been a bit odd about the whole fertility thing. She has seemed disinterested, which is odd because we are normally pretty close. And she miscarried 4 children after me, which unsurprisingly had a huge effect on her, so I'm not sure I should wish the wait to 12 weeks on her.
honty good luck for ET! I'm glad your eggs came through for you!
Norfy good luck to you too!
delilah the waiting never ends does it? For years I was waiting for a BFP, then when I got it I was waiting for it to be confirmed by a blood test, now I am waiting for the first scan. After that, I guess I will be waiting for the next scan! I hope I will be able to relax about it all one day, but it doesn't seem that way.
sharon I was the same as northey - only the stimming drugs went in the fridge.
caip and is, I'm thinking of you.
This has been a bit of an essay! Will post now and pop out to get lunch!
