Anyone else want to join me in getting ready for ivf in 2013? Good egg buddies wanted!!!

Hello,

Dh and I have been trying for over 2 years and had one failed ivf (Icsi) attempt at the Argc last spring. We are going to go again in the new year.

I wondered if anyone else was planning to do the same? And whether anyone fancied joining me in 'princessing' (stolen from style & beauty :) ) for ivf?

I'm not sure what this means in terms of what I'll do, really hoping for some help in researching how to get the best eggs ever, and perhaps how to improve dh's little swimmers....

Anyone up for being a good egg buddy?

By the way, how do you all manage the bum bullet/pooing co-ordination? I put mine in shortly before my morning coffee, and could now do with a bit of a bowel clearance, but am worried about losing some of the progesterone. How long does it take for everything to be absorbed?

honty No sex while stimming? Really? The only time the clinic told us not to DTD was between EC and ET. At the end of the stimming I didn't feel like it anyway because of bloat and massive ovaries.

euro I reckon you just need to put the hard word on Mr Euro to relieve his wife!

(On the other point, I've only tried that way once and I did it after my morning clear out, so several hours before I was likely to want to go again. I definitely favour the front door so will only do it the other way for sechsy time purposes!)

I tested again this morning and the line is definitely darker than 2 days ago. Phew. There has been no more spotting (yet) today and the achey womb pain has gone. The insomnia is getting right on my (sore) tits though. 4.45 I was awake this morning! Grrrr.

Good news about the darker line!

I have to go up the rear until after ET, as apparently they like a nice clean front for that! Afterwards though I can choose.

My clinic wasn't bothered about that although I did wonder how much of a sticky mess it would be in there! They washed out my insides with saline before doing the transfer anyway. Confused I made sure that on transfer day I took it a bit early so I had a chance to absorb it first.

BTW, if you are worried that you have got rid of the cyclogest too soon, just take another if you have spares. It's my understanding that too much progesterone isn't a problem. One lady on the 10+ thread has been on 6 a day!

Hiya everyone, lots of fab news so far Grin I'm very excited to be part of such a lucky thread and terrified I'm going to be the exception that pulls you all down

I've started 'princessing' today lol, day 1 of a 9 day detox that takes me up to when I'm due to start short protocol a week on Monday [assuming my cycle plays the game and is normal this month] and I can confirm aloe vera tastes like shit and I am already bored of drinking hot water.

We are 3/4 of the way through this thread now, can everyone stop posting so the thread hasn't finsihed and taken it's run of luck with it before my time comes?! FX it rolls over onto Egg Buddies #2, ta!

Just been to loo - more reddish spotting.
And my boobs are less sore and I don't feel at all sick. No cramps as yet.

Horrible, stressed, but trying to stay hopeful.

I'm booked in for a scan in 2 weeks but I doubt I'm pregnant as if I'm honest with myself I think the line was even fainter this morning and I just did another test and really couldn't see anything.

It's awful, last night I just started to feel confident after visiting the doctor, now I'm convinced its all over again. I've now got AF style cramps too. Sad

Hopefully, yes, kig. I can't believe they all fertilised! I am now certain that they will all die overnight, of course...

Northey fingers crossed for good growth overnight. 100% fertilisation is great.

I've not had much more spotting, but it's not stopped either. It's so early I know that it can go either way at this stage. I've spent the afternoon resting on the sofa with my feet up, and will probably do the same this evening as well - DH will be waiting on me hand and feet!

Thanks for your messages - I have one dd conceived naturally 5 yrs ago, nothing since and a lap has shown lots of adhesions from the c section as well as severe endo and PID - lots of scarring cut out in October. Buseriln knocking me out with headaches but baselilne scan tomorrow morning so hopefully can get started stimming asap.

Sorry about the headaches wife. They were the one Burserelin side effect I didn't get (but I was literally crossing off all the rest from the long list in the box!). I hope you can start stimming soon.

Is are you ok?

Dils apparently your at your most fertile during stimming and the risk of multiples is so high...it may be because we are unexplained infertility and therefore it could happen...but it just hasn't?
