Doff your top hats, lean on your canes, 'tis a Victorian Christmas for the BESH. Baste those turkeys in Victoria & Albert style, and maintain a stiff upper lip when you fill in the BESHtionnaire to see if you are cynical stoic enough to win a Baybee.

Festive greetings good fellows!

Sore boobs heartburn menkul menkul, but on this Yuletide morn I shall attempt.to.demonstrable the remarkable patience and stoicism displayed by my 7yr old nephew, who barely flinched when 21month old nephew smacked him in the face with Thomas The Tank Engine.

Merry Christmas luffly BESH xxxx

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 25/12/2012 11:29

22 yr old cousin apparently isn't the worst of it. Mum said that 27 yr old cousin is also pg with her 4th! Ridiculous. It also pisses me off that her eldest is heavily asthmatic and she smokes all over her, they live in a council house and live off benefits.

Merry Yule tide gents, me & mum are trying to cook with Gordon, it's funny watching him try not to swear.

Shocked at the belly rub - that is incredibly rude, a punch should have been administered I feel.

Sorry for all the long droids and other shitness. I've ovulated this morning but at the parents so no shagginh. Did a quick one yesterday but was nightly disappointed as there tmi didn't seem to be much jizz??!! Think it's the booze MATV has been drinking but he looked really hurt when I mentioned it. Then I cried this morning but am feeling mucho chirpier now!

Northey · 25/12/2012 11:51

Hahahahaha! Did a quick one yesterday but was nightly disappointed as there tmi didn't seem to be much jizz??!! Think it's the booze MATV has been drinking but he looked really hurt when I mentioned it. made me actually cry with laughter, tip.

bugs, I have no idea why you didn't just swat her into next week. No jury would have convicted you. Oh my God, this can be euro's new speciality - defending mental BESH who are driven to violence by awful other people!

jeffy, are you having a festive stab today?

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 25/12/2012 12:02

:) he does have the 'you've just offended my manhood a treat' puppy dog/sad eyes hurt look down to a tee now Grin

SinkyMalinks · 25/12/2012 12:30

Arf! Xmas fun in the BESH household!

Am 2 glasses of champagne down. I bought my dad rubarb liquor, my mum blackberry and port and i got apple gin. I plan to stop when I can't see.

Northey · 25/12/2012 12:34

Fuck IVF! I am going to drink my way merrily through this.

SinkyMalinks · 25/12/2012 12:46

Cheers!

Wine

(I've briefly departed to red wine)

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 25/12/2012 12:54

Urgh, non drinking friend of my dads has called over for a coffee. Drinking has ceased and dinner is now delayed. God bloody damn it I'm STARVING! I just washed up to take my mind off it and munched some of the starters!

SinkyMalinks · 25/12/2012 12:56

Not drinking? At Christmas? Xmas Shock

I shall, altruistically, have a glass for you.

Hic.

maamalady · 25/12/2012 14:36

Merry Christmas all! I have been given TWO full-size bottles of gin, and one small one Xmas Grin

Northey · 25/12/2012 19:56

My merry Christmas drinking has inevitably led to an evening slump. I have had enough of jollity with ILs and now just want to go off somewhere quiet and mourn the fact that I should either now have with me the baybee from the first ectopic or a five month bump from the second. Meh.

FrankelcenseAndMyhrr · 25/12/2012 20:04

I have eaten my body weight in roast potatoes. If anyone looked at my belly right now they'd think I was 5 or 6 months gone Hmm

I've also drunk a decent amount and am about to crack open another bottle of Wine

In other news Futility Fiend says yes to ov on Saturday. We had some very nice, no pressure (ah those were the days!) Christmas sechs this morning, so here's hoping the 4 times over the last 6 days is enough. Surely more Wine can only help, right? Xmas Wink

Northey · 25/12/2012 20:22

Wine is clinically proven to help, frank. I had Christmas Eve sechs yesterday, but am decidedly too full of food to do anything of the same sort today. Well, not unless AMNH has developed a fetish for being vomited on...

EuroShagmore · 25/12/2012 22:29

frankel please tell me he didn't wear the jumper in his facebook photo to seduce you into that?

I have eaten far too much, and had a lovely quiet day with my Rents. I have drunken very little though. I must remedy that!

I'd quite like to develop a sideline defending BESH pushed over the edge. I could have my own TV ad: "Have you been pushed over the edge by undeserving instadiffs? Then call 0800 100 EURO now!". I can see it all over daytime TV.

WinklyVersusTheZombies · 25/12/2012 22:44

I love the Christmas jumper! I am a little jealous of all the sechsing, I am back in the motherland and have left HWCA back home so none for me.

Only had one pregnant cousin, one newborn cousin and the Nativity homily extolling the virtues of family to contend with.

Oddly, I've only had a small glass of wine. Heartburn killing me and putting me right off.

Just popping in. (mainly to reassure winkly that thread is not dead).

Been for hearty morning walk. Just gorged myself again on leftovers and salmon and, again, 2 glasses of wine down.

Hope the BESH are keeping body and soul together.

OComeAllYeFaithBaby · 26/12/2012 14:46

I have just woken up after a rubbish night shift! MSB's dad and nan are now visiting so I'll be quiet but be reassured I will be partaking in a gin tonight! Luff you BESHies!

I too liked the Christmas jumper! Xmas Grin

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 26/12/2012 18:04

home this morning from the parents for us. I think next year we will drive there christmas morning then home the same day rather than stay the two nights. nearly 5 hrs of soaps nearly killed MATV and me off. From 5.30pm my mum was hooked and unable to speak. Never known such utter shite on TV in one day! Also had two comments off mum during the day 'once a baby comes along' type things. Second time I just said 'look, I'm not pregnant now and I may never be (she knows about my barreness...) so lets just have these conversations if it happens in the future. To which she responded 'positive thinking love, come on!'. Angry

just about to hit the Wine again. Anyone care to join me?

SinkyMalinks · 26/12/2012 18:39

I'm still in holiday mode so am on the wine and have been since lunch

Just back from seeing my lovely friend and her lovely kids. Even if I did get bitten by a toothing 9 month old.

FrankelcenseAndMyhrr · 26/12/2012 22:12

I'm back on the Wine too Xmas Grin

So, what did y'all get for Chrimbo? HWHNN got me a beautiful charm bracelet and a print of Frankel Grin. I got him the Season 1-7 box set of Supernatural and some Bose headphones that he'd been talking about.

maamalady · 27/12/2012 00:44

Hello all Xmas Smile I've had a fab day ponyriding and eating and socialising, now in bed at last.

I received many lovely gifts, including the aforesaid two bottles of gin, several books and films, a woolly cardigan with chunky buttons, and a respectable amount of chocolate. My family have been very generous and good at choosing lovely things this year! My ILs are completely bats as well as lovely, and gave me a pair of motorised cat ears...

Christmas sechsing going well - being on holiday is good for HOTB I think. Droid might have finally gone too - hopefully tomorrow will be spotting-free! We set off back to ILs tomorrow, so had better confess the infertility to my parents in the morning, seeing as ILs know now. More ponyriding may help me build up courage?

Northey · 27/12/2012 07:38

Sounds good, iwilleatalltheleavesonthetree. Then you can gallop away fast if telling them is too traumatic.

Spent last night in a soggy flood of tears, partly kicked off by an argument with FIL which wasn't in itself particularly bad, but somehow left me randomly wobbly, but made worse by bloody carols, all about newborn babes being wrapped in swaddling bands and placed in mangers.

Had three random days of spotting, so tempted myself with the possibility that it might be implantation bleeding (I know, I know, and I've only had sex twice this cycle anyway (CD6 and CD22, fact fans)). BFN this morning, obviously. Which means droid is prob on its way and will hit with a vengeance halfway through my flight to Dublin just as the fasten seatbelt sign comes on.

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 27/12/2012 09:58

Northey that sucks, what was the argument about? Is horrible falling out with family in law but sometimes it needs to be done.

I had a few tears last night too having spent some time on 'be my parent' I asked MATV about adoption. We got half way through the quite positive conversation and he just went 'well, there's no ways they would ever let us adopt' I said why not and he replied 'because social workers are cunts, we'd never be allowed'. I just really don't get that response. I burst into tears and ran out. I don't think MATV even noticed. Will ask him about it tonight. Weird though
