January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

Hi clare its' not very high res to I can't tell very easily, I think I can see a second line but it's so pixalated when I zoom I can't be sure. I had one like that this month which I am sure was their but which I could only see as I was looking for it. Keep testing each morning and it should get darker, mine didn't I just had a very very faint line of 3 tests I had a CP I think

I have a question, which I hoped someone could help me with? I think I mentioned that I went to the docs yesterday for my bloods results, he said everything was normal, including my progesterone levels...phew. He sees no reason why I shouldn't conceive fairly easily, he suggested using OPKs as I have slightly irregular periods normally somewhere better 26-29 days, which I started using last month. I usually have very light periods though, usually 2 - 4 days, with (sorry for TMI) very few clots, I think they seem light to me as I am used the heavy withdrawal bleeds you get when on the pill. Do any of you ladies know if light periods can be a negative sign?

Disclaimer: This is just anecdotal evidence from one woman's experience.

I had very light period. I used the mini and regular tampoms, and the regular only for day 2. By day 4 I usually get so dry I can't use tampons anymore, just very thin pads. (My period is now much heavier after giving birth). I conceived DD in about 3-4 months after stopping contraception,, and was still in the lets see what will happen phase.

Cleo just wanted to reassure you that my periods were also incredibly light compared to when I was on the pill so don't worry you're not broken.

Yeah I just had a look at pic on my phone and can't see anything! DP has come home and confirmed the line though Will do another tomorrow and hopefully get a clearer result!

Yay Claire I was beginning to get a bit dispondant with the lack of BFP's so this looks really promising! Let's hope tomorrow brings a nice bright line :-)

clare I'm getting 20 for £3.55 on ebay. I reckon that's what I paid for boots cheapie 2-packs. Even if I only needed one, I didn't lose any money. I'm going to freecycle away all my left overs opks and pregnancy tests if I get a bfp this cycle. Otherwise, they are still here for me next month .

choc I am CD32. Will test with FMU, if I remember. You know what I am like, don't function until I have that first cup of tea inside me.

I have my stash of fleabay cheapies, pissing without conscience means you can poas a lot (when you remember).

Hello! I'm arriving rather late, but.... Had unplanned unprotected sex (with DH - no exciting drama I'm afraid!) on what I'm pretty sure was ovulation day and, well, you know.... Actually quite excited now!

We have a 2.3 yo DD so gap would be 3 years exactly - much smaller gap than we had planned (we were thinking 4/5 years), but....

I had been busily telling all I felt no urge or rush for no 2, or even if we wanted another, but now I might be, it's another story!

Got preg with DD first month of trying, so it is possible...

Eek! I now remember the 2 week wait (was on MN back then, so here I go again!)

choc only 1 day late for a 'normal cycle' but mine can be as short as 21 days so feels like it's really late. If still no af on Sunday I'll try again...

Hi ladies, need some help...been feeling really nauseous all day, only feels better immediately after I eat something then it comes back again. I think I'm 8 or 9 days dpo....is it a poss sign or way to early?

Legallyblond - how much DTD did you do the first month of trying? I would love to be preg for an October baby but have only DTD 4 x in run up to ovulation (+2 more times but DP didn't deliver ).

I'm on day 14 so maybe again tonight...

But also now in the 2ww!
