January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

anyone ever been to docs with a down there problem?
finally got an appointment for tonight about my constant af pains. not really knowing what to expect got this horrible feeling hes gonna tell me im imagining it. bit like he did when i had a ovarian cyst before.
just a little bit scared to be honest

The only time for me was when my episiotomy stitches got infected, yuck! Went to the walk in clinic but they couldn't decide if it was an infection or not so had to hobble to GP the next day! So soon after having DD though it felt like the world and his wife had had a look so that didn't really bother me Grin

haha yeah thats what i keep thinking. its good practice for when i am up the duff i wont have any dignity left.
just really worried that they will dismiss the pains im having as menstural pains as this seems to be the excuse for everything(typical man)

Good luck setay you're doing the right thing to get checked out. Hopefully they can ease your worries if nothing else.
pads thanks for satisying our urges, when will u try again? How about you one?
Af could arrive any day from now given my cycle history but like u jelly hoping for longer lp which would take me to wknd. I only have opk cheapies - have heard they can work as hormones similar for ov as preg. If that is the case, does anyone know if you still use fmu per normal preg tests or later on in day like ov?

setayharas agree with zeuxippe that maybe a female doctor is a good idea. I don't know if I imagine it, but I found female gps more understanding with women issues.

well i went to the docs today for my blood test results done after I thought i missed a period everything is within normal ranges and my doc was lovely, he said he saw no reason I should conceive easily but said he would be happy to refer me if i ever felt the need Smile feel good to know in some way im normal lol

Well doc thinks its back pain(apprantly lower bck nerves end o. Your stomach) as because the pain isn't in just one place it's unlikely to be a cyst or something like that. I have however been referred for an ultrasound to check as I have had a cyst before.

Taking that back pain diagnosis as the all clear to get dtd so as I'm 4 days before ovulation(I think) better get bding from here on in!

choc I use the 'One Step' sticks from Amazon. A pregnant friend of mine recommended them - she got BFP at 10dpo & they have very good reviews in general. There's 2 types, one that picks up HCG levels at 10mlu/ml and one that detects at 25mlu/ml so do your research and make sure you get the early detection ones. Apparently by the time you miss a period HCG levels are about 100mlu/ml & end of first trimester is more like 200,000mlu!

bean that's pants about your BFN, so your af almost 2 week late??? R your cycles usually regular?
My af finally gone hurray. So best get bd'ing soon, sooo difficult when dp works nights. Its finding the time & making that effort all I wanna do is sleep

Right, still no AF so POAS (again!) and think I have 2 lines, although 1 is very faint, if I can put a pic on profile will you lovely ladies tell me what you think? (could well be kidding myself!) Grin

I was going to wait till the weekend to test again when my AF is one week late. I only have one more pregnancy test so I don't want to waste it. But you all know what happened? I couldn't help myself this morning but poas. I got a very very faint line in the test window, which disappears after I blink. And if I look hard enough it seems to appear. I'm not sure if it is all in my head Hmm. So I ordered 20 ultra early 20mlU tests from fertilityplan on eBay. It's also OneStep btw, readytosettle. Hopefully they will arrive in the weekend. I don't know if I can wait till Monday after work!
