January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

hello weechops and fellow passengers, nice to see some familiar faces.
i got off the Dec bus yesterday, had evening of and cheese and so now ready to hop on the jan bus and looking forward to new year bfps for us all! . at least with AF's arrival i can crack on with having a good night out tomorrow and yippee i have friday off to nurse hangover! are we all organised and ready for christmas?

I got a smiley face on opk today :) Cd14 and we dtd last night and planning on it for the next few nights too so fx this is our month! Two cycles of no +opk and I was getting a bit despondant so I'm all happy now.

Well it seems the bleed I had after coil removal was withdrawal bleeding as af has just arrived so I'm going to count this as first month ttc baby #3...

It's mrsstephens here - thought I'd have a change. I don't know whether to 'get off the bus' or not this month ( and for a few months)

I'm a teacher and my department is having a tough time at the moment. We are down a member of staff, have a long term supply covering for a mat leave, someone who has just gone on long term sick and another that has just said she is leaving. I just feel really bad thinking about getting pregnant and leaving the dept in even more of a state than it already is. Don't know what to do :(

It shouldn't change my decision, but it would be more of a hassle for everyone else at the moment.

Hi ganet. I admire your concern for the remaining members of the department but I think your family and needs shoukd be the priority. Being a teacher, at least a good one, will inevitably lead to feelings of responsibility but that does not mean you shoukd sacrifice your plans. The department will be fine and no one will resent you. The others have made decisions in their own best interests and you should too. In my experience working within a schoo that is the situation in most departments.

Hi everyone - I would really like to have a baby in 2013 (a carry over from 2012!) so will be bounding onto the bus for a January bfp please! Nice to meet you all......

Have copied the list and added myself on the bottom. My and DP have been TTC for 4 months so far without so much as an evap line to show for it! We are going to give a good go in 2013 though - so far we have his/hers vitamins, pre-seed, OPK's and temping! Also because we are both in our early 40's (took a long time to find each other) and our chances are so much lower we are both having fertility tests to see if it even possible although DP has 2 lovely DC's from previous relationship. Today is CD3 for me which means I can have champers at Christmas and New Year (though would have happily gone without......) then we are both on the wagon from Jan 1st.....

Budge up! Room for another?

I'm on CD4 and this will be our first cycle TTC#3. I did the whole OPKs and temping thing for DD2 and am wondering whether I should do that again, or just go with the flow...

Quite a variable cycle, sometimes 28 days, sometimes 30 days, often 34 days so wouldn't test 'til 23rd January.

Feeling a bit nervous. Eeek. It all seemed so easy the first time round!

You will be pleased to know that I have seen sense after reading what you put, thinking about it and having a somewhat eventful department Christmas night out (and not in a good way) Forget teaching, I'm gonna make a baby!

I agree, don't stress about work, they always find a way to cope and babies are way more important... Took me until I was 38 to have my 1st so I know how stressful it can be and now I've got 2 gorgeous wee boys and ttc #3...
