I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

weechops cycle 7 BFp due Jan 8

Who's with me?

MotherOfCleo · 08/01/2013 17:10

Snap pixie you and me both, that is exactly how my mind works.

chewingguminmyhair · 08/01/2013 17:14

One - sorry, I've never done this before so it's all new to me!

My cycle is 26 days. I very rarely notice any EWCM and I've never checked my temperature or anything before.

The calendar app I have on my phone always programmes in ovulation 14 days before the end of my cycle, so 12 days from the beginning.

I suppose I was wondering if ovulation can come later than 14 days before the end of your cycle

Bajas · 08/01/2013 17:42

Am now on day 27 of cycle and no sign of Af. Cycle is usually less than 28 days (sometimes as little as 21) although last month was 31 getting me crazily hopeful! Had pre Af symptoms last week- mood swings, cramps, sore boobs etc but never arrived and pre Af symptoms disappeared.

No idea if or when I ovulated as haven't started opks yet and have completely irregular cycle. Have felt a wee bit nauseous this week but don't know if I'm convincing myself because I want to be.

Anyway after that ramble I wanted to ask should I test tomorrow (day 28) or wait until the weekend if still no sign of the witch?

Congrats to all with bfp!

Pixie001 · 08/01/2013 17:43

chewing yes, if you have a short luteal phase (between ov and af) then it could mean 12 or less days. Longer luteul is better tho as gives more chance of secure implantation. I think last mth I was 12 days post ov which I wasn't v happy about. Hoping I stick out the 2 weeks this time.

setayharas · 08/01/2013 17:57

Hey!

Still got 5 days until I'm due to ov if I do ov the same as last month. Feeling pretty down beat about it all this month, got some horrible lower bck pains and cramps around the side of my abdomen and thighs feel kinda like period pain, can't get a doctors appointment for love nor money tho to try and find out what it is!
Overall just feeling like this isn't our month at all. But shall keep dtd anyway

littlepinkfizz · 08/01/2013 17:58

I'm only on cd 7 but seem to have a lot of what looks like ewcm?. Is this possible?

Pixie001 · 08/01/2013 18:06

bajas do you have any cheapies and are you prepared for bfn if it is too early? If no then maybe best to wait til wknd if you have the willpower! Altho I do gwr very excited when others are poas!
Saying that, pads you should write a poas reminder and put it on your loo!!

Bajas · 08/01/2013 18:14

I have a couple of cheapies all right pixie but don't know how prepared I am for bfn especially as I am looking after friend's children for the weekend so will be extra clucky (or relieved!!!) Think I will try to hold on until Sunday if no Af before!

Littlepinkfizz a friend of mine ov on cd 5 and successfully got pregnant so it seems cd7 possible. If no bfp this month I am definitely starting opks next month.

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 08/01/2013 18:49

chewing you need to chart properly or throw that app away! It can't know when you have ovulated unless you enter data. Like opk, bbt, cm. You don't need any of these to conceive ofc. Shagaton probably works the best Grin

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 08/01/2013 18:52

littlepinkfizz is that ewcm or leftover from your DP/H deeds? They are both supposed to be the perfect environment for little swimmers. So I think they probably are very similar Grin

littlepinkfizz · 08/01/2013 19:06

I did use opk's for 2 months starting at cd10 and it showed I didn't ovulate til about cd17/18.

But cm was definitely very wet and copious! Gave up on the opk's as drs do t see. To like them and I felt under pressure to Dtd on those days.

It's no win! X

chocoloulou33 · 08/01/2013 22:22

hayle soRry u got you af. Know how u feel. I know what u mean about getting obsessed, I've been like that in last couple of months too. So this month no opks, no symptom spotting no stressing. I like to come on mumsnet though to get support & enjoy when other ladies get their bfps. Understand if u need a break honey but come back on here for a chat when u can. Hope this month is the one for you xx
Hope everyones ok this evening. Am hoping I see some bfp's on here in morning :) x

chewingguminmyhair · 09/01/2013 00:21

Clearly four times in one week is too much for DP - no success at DTD tonight (he's a once a fortnight man). And slap bang in the middle if my cycle too Hmm

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 09/01/2013 06:54

chewing sympathies here. DH is a once a fortnight man too. We actually managed every 2 days during the middle of the week, the best record since we ttc. The previous cycle we dtd twice only Sad. I really really hope I can get a bfp this month so we don't have to keep up the shagathon.

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 09/01/2013 06:54

Middle of cycle I mean.

clare8allthepies · 09/01/2013 07:17

Hi everyone, despite aches all afternoon no sign of AF yesterday ( caved and POAS last night and another BFN) Cycle is 29-31 days and cd 31 today, cannot believe how much I'm stressing about this - with DD we didn't try as such just stopped prevention and didn't really think about it until I realised I was about 3 days late and BFP first month.
How times have changed Sad

chocoloulou33 · 09/01/2013 07:28

Morning ladies, good luck to all those poas this morning :)

JellyBeanDavey · 09/01/2013 08:07

Clare, maybe stressing about it is stopping AF or BFP showing. I know my sister was stressing over not having her period and the longer it didn't show the more stressed she got and it took 2 and a half months to get a BFP.

padster75 · 09/01/2013 09:06

Morning ladies ........... guess what???

I actually remember to POAS and got a BFN ......... still no sign of af and temp on the up ......... so still in limboland with the odd pelvic twinges that are 2 weeks old now .......... grrrrrr. Oh well, plenty to keep me occupied while you all get excited for me Wink

Hayle sorry to hear your news, completely understand where you are 'at' at the moment. Please pop in and day hello every now and then to let us know how you are getting on.

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 09/01/2013 09:28

padster we are on the same limbo boat then. Have a Biscuit since we can't have Wine.

chocoloulou33 · 09/01/2013 09:31

Boooo to the bfn padster still no witch yet so yes we can still get excited for u :)

Zeuxippe · 09/01/2013 09:59

Has anyone else poas?

Readytosettle · 09/01/2013 10:34

I have to confess I did! Completely pointless as AF not due for 6 days....but it did satisfy my craving & I only use Internet cheapies so it works out cheaper than buying myself a chocolate bar! I blame working from home days....don't have time when I'm in the office :-)

JellyCurls · 09/01/2013 11:15

to hayle sorry the witch found you. Sending lost of baby wishes your way in the hope that you get your BFP soon.

I am in the dreaded two week wait symptom spot! I am going to try be calm and sensible this month but I am already failing miserably. Keep fingers crossed my LP is longer than 8 days this month please x

chocoloulou33 · 09/01/2013 12:53

Fx for you jellycurls
Lol @ readytosettle least u got the cheapie tests. Do those ones work early then or u meant to wait til af due? May need to get myself some cheapies x
