January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

padster I think that you are a day over AF then you could get a true test with strong wee, not just FMU so please satisfy our cravings and test Grin

no sign of af yet for me, due thursday so expecting cramps tomorrow. boobs feel fuller rather then bigger and just ''different'' than tender.

I know my mind is playing tricks!!

choc I want to but a) I only have one test left but I'm gonna pick up some more when I pop into town later and b) I've only ever tested day AF is due so not sure I would produce an early +

chocoloulou33 I'm on day 32, af due two days ago but still no sign of the witch. Test was negative yesterday. So I'm officially in limbo but not off the bus.

It's the normal sensitivity ones, where you can use from day 1 AF is due. I'm on the ttc while bf thread too and one of the posters mentioned that what it means is 14 days after ovulation. So if my luteal phase is short (which it is), then I'll have to wait longer. But it could also mean that I'll have a 14 day luteal phase this month, instead of 10.

OK, looking likely that I ov'd yesterday (opks) which is good as we dtd last night but not the one before... Honestly you have one day off in a week and its the one before ov day. Anyway that means I should really wait to test on the 20th rather than the 18th- we'll see how that goes! I'm keeping everything crossed this bus had some bfps coming this week.

OLTT if you're bf you could ovulate at any time couldn't you? Are you using opks?

I'm off ladies, AF just arrived (without warning which is unusual)

Think it might be time for me to take a break from mn. Definitely going to go for the shagathon approach next cycle.

hayle hope you feel better and good luck next cycle. I know what you mean MotherOfCleo, about the emotional roller coaster. I'm ok on the early part the 2ww. Feeling what's been done is done. But when I get close to AF, I just get really really anxious. I'm obsessed with the spotting I see on my pantyliner now Blush. (Sorry if TMI). I can't see it on tissues, so I'm not sure what it is. DH was talking about summer holiday this year, but this ttc business means we can't actually plan that far ahead. What if I'm get a bfp this month? I'll be too big to fly by july/august.

Lets not talk about the crushing disappointment when AF arrives. I'm currently at the anxious, what if, what if not phase, refusing to think about AF.

I first came on mn when I was going through my mc and it was brilliant but nwt its making me obsessive and it's no good. I don't feel too bad about AF arriving as I've got better at realising its not the end of the world when she turns up.

Gonna crack me open a bottle of wine and prepare to get busy :-)

Sorry to hear that, think I'm about to join you as I can feel AF cramps starting, it is such a roller coaster isn't it, 2 weeks ago when I realised I had ov'd later than thought I was resigned to being out this month but I've gradually convinced myself that I am pregnant so really down.

Zeuxippe I started OPKs this cycle but I didn't catch any LH surge. But I was only testing once a day, after work. I do think I've ovulated by watching CM. That's how I work out my luteal phase is about 10 days.

Anyone know what the latest you can ov is? My calendar says it should be today (15 days until AF) but I haven't had any signs.

chewinggummyhair what do you mean by your calendar saying it should be today? Is it just saying you should have ovulated today because the average luteal phase is 14 days? If you aren't seeing any signs, you could have delayed ovulation. Or your luteal phase is normally shorter than average? What's your luteal phase in previous cycles?

clare I'm the other way round I start off 2ww absolutely adament that this is our month but by the end I've convinced myself af is on her way. I think its to lessen the blow if she does arrive although I also secretly still symptom spot, hope for the best and upset when it doesn't happen! total rollercoaster
