January BFP bus - New Year resolution - get a bfp!

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

pixie I would have done exactly the same -it's ok to feel that way.

I'm on 2ww too - dd'd a fair bit but not quite as much as weechops -good going there chops!

What is '2ww'? I'm new to all this conception stuff.

Chewing -it's Two week wait-ie. between ovulation and af date (af = Aunt Flo = menses)

thanks pixie ive not had many symptoms tbh, all the ones I have are quite manky lol, been constipated, gassy, emotional (cried at fly away home, snowman & snowdog and rspca animal rescue!) tired, (had 2 hour 'nap' today), lots of pink an brown spotting (on 7, 9, 10, 11, 13dpo) not enough for a pantliner, just have a nagging feeling that something is 'different'. Also Ive been checking my cervix a bit this month (gross I know) and its been high an hard and now its even higher but soft, think its meant to be low and soft when AF is due. I may be clutching at straws! I dont have any AF type warning cramps either.....confusing times!

pixie i would be the same!!! an evil ex friend of mine just announced hers and I was so pissed I couldnt sleep, a real kick in the teeth! she really is a nasty peice of work, why do good guys finish last huh

Wow, there's a lot of people on this bus! Room for another small one? I'm on 'Just Shaging' but as I'm clearly no longer just shagging (had to have bloods and stuff), thought I would branch out and see what other people are up to if you don't mind me joining in?

Thanks Choc - I have been TTC in earnest for 5 cycles and still don't know when I ov as I'm too lazy to chart properly, but I'm giving it a go this month as I had a blood test last month and I didn't ov. Ordered a thermometer but it hasn't arrived yet.

I've been weeping all pm at 'Up'. So was DH - I think it's because the couple can't have children. Gets me every time. Blub.

Im beyond sad plus im back at work today which depresses me more!
I was so sure this was the month! How can we dtd 4 days up to OV day and twice on OV day and my egg still miss all those swimmers?!? gutted

Morning everyone, just popping on before I go and chain myself to my desk upstairs .......... not feeling this working malarky at all today so chances are I will be popping back downstairs for plenty of and and mn refreshing!

Sorry cleo. And bearface I used opks and thermometer last month but it's not very useful. I didn't get any positive opks at all and temperature was all over the place. Some women only have surges for about 12 hours so even if testing daily you can miss it. (Or that I haven't ovulated). I can't be testing I'm at work, and the ones I got are stick in a cup type. I guess I'll need midstream ones if I want to do it twice a day. I'm going to get a bbt thermometer this month so I'll have more accurate temperatures.

On my, I was actually on here yesterday but its been very busy and I've missed so much! Congrats jemimah and weechops I do love it when an OP gets a bfp. So sorry cleo the cycles where you really think it could be the one hurt the most :( Hello everyone new
I think I will ov over the weekend at some point so should be busy but got too drunk on nye and dh bowed out last night as he has a cold. I went to bed a bit mad at him. Only as we only have jan then we can start TTC again in bloody April, seems a lifetime away! Never mind, there is time yet!

one nope, he just doesn't want our ds to share birthday month or a Xmas baby so rules out nov/dec for a due date. Probably makes it sound like we don't want another one as much as some others but we really do!! Ask me again in feb and I'll probably be begging him to try!

well its a new year new start. best mates informed me shes upduffed.
