Hopefully this is the last thread we start and all our dreams and wishes come true.

Don't know if it made a difference but I cut my drinking loads the cycle I got pg. from 1 or 2 glasses a night to one or two a week.

Hello all :-) I thought I'd lost you, but you have a new thread!

Just de-lurking to say that the cycle I got pregnant was my booziest month for some time. I drank on the day of conception, had my hen do around implantation and had a lot to drink the day before I found out! I don't normally drink much, but circumstances were different that cycle!

Interesting how it differs. Though I wouldn't see a bottle or two over a week as being a heavy drinker either.

I don't feel pregnant at all. My temps look like crap. Have no hopes of a bfp. Had a very emotional chat with DH last night and I am okay now. Just preparing for AF to arrive.

On the drinking thing - since we started ttc DH and I barely drink 2 units a week. Christmas is a different matter! But I don't think cutting down down on drinking made any difference.

FYI dtd at the in-laws is so hard!! We are in the room with the squeekiest bed EVER!! Just had the quickest, almost immobile shag ever! Makes me realise tantric sex would be handy about now... Anyone got any tips for this kind of thing? Not possible to dtd on sofa or anywhere else as people hang around all over the house all day!! (Unless we are out with them!)

Married life is great, thank you. Thankfully the pregnancy seems to be going well. We were given an EDD of 20th June after the 12 week scan, but as that moved us 4 days forwards I think they'll go off the next one as the 'definitive' date.

You lot all need to get upduffed. I miss chatting with you all. The other side isn't quite the same :-/

Im not a big drinker cos of ds and early morning starts days im.working but i usually head out with friends onxe a month for a wee boozy night out and last cycle was no diff! I hate being asked how much I drink.on average - i could go a fortnight on zero units and then drink 14 in one night and then no more for a fortnight lol

The thing is, the later AF is the mater I ov'd which means I didn't do it at the crucial time! Dtd cd 13, 15, 16, 17 and 21. Currently on cd35.

Winkle - When did you get the positive on the cbfm?

We last had a proper good dtd on cd13 but I OVed on cd17. We did dtd on cd16&17 but both times I was in top so I stupidly think that the sperm never got up there. So I think we've most likely missed it this month.

Having sex at the inlaws orin a house full of people has always made me uncomfortable. Dh had to cover my mouth last time and yes squeaky beds are the worst!

I'm feeling a bit less sick which is obviously nice but after the last time and the bleeding last week is also making me if all is going well surely the hormone levels should be getting higher and i should be feeling steadily worse. Gah!! Next hospitsl appt isnt til 2nd Jan so just going to have to wait patiently(ish). Now time for xmas eve to commence!!

I don't have anything to update really - am halfway through the 2ww and trying my best to ignore it really and just busy myself with Christmas. Absolutely no signs or symptoms not that i've been looking honest

winkle You have def got it covered as sperm lives upto 5 days inside ou during your fertile period. So even of you OVed late you'd have plenty floating around. Still no sign of AF? Hard to not get excited!

I've been off work since Wednesday - just got last presents wrapped and another load of washing done. Just need to cook ham, make soup, do some ironing and give the living room a good hoover and that for everyone coming round tomorrow. Meantime I've banished DH and DS to the park for half an hour so got feet up and muppets xmas carol on tv!
