Yeah what flavour kitty?? Grin

RedRobin1 · 21/12/2012 16:29

congratulations monthly and yes please share your flavour kitty excited to find out.

thanks res Today I have had no symptoms whatsoever. Its literally like a rollercoaster. One day I feel pregnant, next day I don't, then again I do, then again I don't! Argh! Just want to get to the 30th Dec so I find out and can start over again doing the same in January.

I have decided to sod it as last year Christmas was grim. This year I will enjoy Christmas and a few glasses of vino Wine or maybe even half a bottle. I have just finished counting my prezzies and like a child I am grinning as I have more than DH as every year Grin Does anyone else do that?

Sorry for bfn winkle but it sounds like it's too early to know either way , so you're not out yet!

And monthly CONGRATULATIONS!!! Merry Christmas what a great present. You made 2012 with over a week to spare!

ReindeerOutdoors · 21/12/2012 17:15

kitty come back and tell us! Is it a dd you have already?

kittenskittenskittens · 21/12/2012 19:49

Sorry to keep you all waiting!
Yes already have a dd and about well in another 4/5 months to have another! GrinGrin
Congrats monthly, the digi works by hormone level and if it was neg 2 days before it will only be 1-2, just means it was a late implanter
Red I was definatly the same as little with this pregnancy and had no symptoms at all except some weird dreams!

resipsa · 21/12/2012 19:55

Yay kitty - gotta say I love girls! Always thought I wanted a boy but now I have a girl and have seen boys in action, well, girls rule (until they get to 11 or so ;-)).

kittenskittenskittens · 21/12/2012 20:44

Yes the thought of 2 young boys would have me crying but the thought of 2 teenage girls!!! Ahhh

Thingymajigs · 21/12/2012 21:17

I have two boys. One of which is 12 and nearing 6 ft tall. I have to say that boys are a handful but that's possibly because my eldest is autistic too but I've always wondered if girls are easier to parent. Hopefully I may get to find out one day. Congrats kittens Smile

fatasbrandybutter · 21/12/2012 21:26

Ah congrats kitty! Sounds so exciting! I would love a girl - I have a boy and yes they are hard work!! - although I really don't mind I would just so love to have another to keep ds company- he's a happy cheeky little soul who loves company Smile

LittleMissSnowShine · 21/12/2012 21:56

Hi everyone! Like to say I've been busy today but no, keeping feet up mostly with just a bit of xmas shopping and a visit to speech&language therapist with DS this morn (he's 25 months and dragging feet a bit about speaking so health visitor referred us). Anyway I'm feeling thoroughly queasy, knackered and my skin looks bleurgh and just getting caught up on today's news....

but in the meantime, sorry about the bfn winkle, but if you think you might have ov later this cycle it stands to reason that you wouldn't get a bfp until later too? I was convinced i'd ov a bit earlier last cycle and so when i got a bfn on cd27 i thought i was out for sure and then that became a very wavery faint bfp on cd29 and not a proper, definite bfp until cd32. just sayin'.....

RedRobin1 · 21/12/2012 23:51

kitty that's lovely Smile girls def rule.

Hope you get to rest over the next few days little

kittenskittenskittens · 22/12/2012 08:52

Ahh I think both sexes are wonderful and each have their own challenges, my dd is much more naughty then her nephew, he loves baking and reading is kind and gentle, she's a whirlwind who loves running is extremely independent and thinks the word no is very funny!!
Still wouldn't change her Grin thankyou everyone for your kind words

twinklestar2 · 22/12/2012 11:00

Could be too early but I used a frer so it should show up 6 days earlier and this was only 2 days.

Congrats on girl number 2 kitty :)

BelissimaLol · 22/12/2012 11:55

But no af still twinkle?
I'm still hopeful for you x

No sign as yet

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 22/12/2012 14:40

Congrats to monthly really pleased.

And congrats to kitty on the scan, little girl sounds great.

twinkle I am willing your af to stay away.

I signed up to the promise trial, only problem is that it takes at least a day to get the supplements and as I lose them stupidly early it may not help. It's worth a shot though.
Consultant didn't seem impressed with my alcohol intake (somewhere between 1 to 2 bottles of wine a week). Yesterday was cd 1 for me so I said I am going to enjoy Xmas then have a booze free Jan and Feb.
she made me feel really guilty, I don't smoke, am a normal weight (could do with shifting 1/2 stone) and am generally quite healthy. But the booze was an issue, I guess it does impact your fertility so she is only trying to help

weetinselchops · 22/12/2012 15:08

monthly congratualtions, what a lovely early christmas present.

kitty yay on having girly number 2 :)

winkle so so hoping af stays away for you.

when don't feel guilty. You can't spend every day living without all the good things!

My dh is away on his boys christmas day/night out so may not be in any fit state to dtd later. We dtd cd11, 12, 14, 15 and got a smiley face day 14 & 15. So even if we miss today and dtd tomorrow on cd17 it should cover all bases. ( i think!)

resipsa · 22/12/2012 15:18

when God, I'm scared now as going to see GP myself next month to "chat" and think I'd have to confess to more than 2 bottles a week!
winkle you got me thinking about tests. When I took mine with DD, I was 6 weeks from LMP so at least 3 + weeks from conception but it said 2-3 weeks. Some people must just produce more "readable" HCg earlier than others...let us know!

twinklestar2 · 22/12/2012 15:28

I'm going dry too next year when, we can do it together. Hub is going dry for Jan and then limiting himself to having only 2 drinks when/if he goes out.

LittleMissSnowShine · 22/12/2012 18:11

twinkle - glad no sign of af, still holding out for a later than expected bfp

kitty - woo hoo! A girl!! Going to visit a friend tomorrow who just had a baby girl a couple of days ago, im sure i'll be pink and frilly mad after getting a cuddle with her :)

I am getting sicker and sicker. Been stuck inside in pjs all day, wretching and nibbling crackers. 6+6 today looks like HG might be on the verge of making an appearance again. Happy Chrustmas to me! Dont even want to crack open the quality street Xmas Shock

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 22/12/2012 21:01

littlemiss oh poor you with the sickness, it's a good thing but it still sucks. Hope it doesn't hit you too bad.

resipsa I'm so glad it's not just me able to drink 2 bottles a week and think it is normal. I know 14 units is the max for women and when ttc it should be naff all. As we all know it can take fucking forever a while to get pregnant, that's a long time to be teetotal.

winkle I'llbd dry in Jan too. Lets hope it works for us.

alliwantforxmas · 22/12/2012 23:39

So pleased. Got my first peak on my clearblue fertility monitor today! Bit annoyed as away tonight / tomorrow, but managed to dtd today before I left, last night and Thursday. Hoping with all that shagging and one Xmas eve for luck we should have all our bases covered. Fingers crossed Grin

Thingymajigs · 23/12/2012 08:06

I don't think a bottle of wine a week sounds bad at all. A bottle a day, yes, but not over a week. I'm not sure how much it affects fertility but I guess I'll give being tee-total a try to see if it helps. My boyfriend doesn't drink and I'm not a big drinker anymore so it should be easy. I think my last drink was at the end of November so I might as well just carry on from here.

ReindeerOutdoors · 23/12/2012 08:08

Fx winkle

littlemiss I know how you feel. I'm being sick multiple times a day and feel terrible. Hoping by about 16 weeks it will be over, but that seems ages away.

How are you doing red?

Any more chances for 2012 bfps?
