Hi Jewcy
Well we have had two put back and would you believe those two are my hubbie's - ecstatic!!
Of all our embryos - one of Hubby's was the best of the them all.
A grade b - 8 cell (nearly a grade a) but the embryologist is a very tough judge in this clinic apparently.
The second put back of my hubby's was a grade d 8 cell - so a bit on the scraggy side but he told us that he has had healthy twins from just one embryo put back like this, which divided.
So what a journey! Now to rest rest rest, pray, pray, pray.
If it wasn't for the release of this embryoscopy talked about in the press today, we would never know what we know from today! Lets hope its fate!
It's taken this to show thy there are some egg factors in our case, where we've always been led to believe thy it was only sperm factors. We paid for so many extras on our last round array CGH, IMSI microscope for sperm selection etc etc. but this embryoscopy has been the MOST informative. £500.00 with our clinic so it appears we may have got a bargain too.
Taking plenty of progesterone to hold onto these previous beans.
Keep you posted and thanks all for all your good wishes.
Ginger and juicy I hope you both get off to a flying start :-) do ask about embryoscopy ginger if you can.
It would be a miracle if we could show our child the news paper cutting from today and say this is what made the difference and fate announced this on the week of our cycle ;-)
It was a day 3 transfer by the way and I would suspect that with this technology we will see more day 3 transfers as no need to decide by the naked eye and wait for blastocyst.
All our previous embryos have reached blastocysts and all our embryos today look like pretty perfect embryos by appearance today - but clearly many have genetic difficulties and would never implant! Thank god for this science!!!
