A wordy fred title I know, but it's too early to think of something snappier!

Get ready for the end of the world: grab your OFRS, your emergency gin supply and join us shrivelled harridans in the BESH Bunker.

Admittance is only permitted on production of a successfully completed BESHtionnaire (hint, check out previous BESH threads)

Darn it, I was only one day out predicting dor's baybee producing!

WinklyVersusTheZombies · 14/12/2012 21:12

HWCA is home with me, we are having a nice evening eating chicken pie and watching Babylon 5, of all things. I shall abstain from voting on the new feem I think.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/12/2012 21:13

Now more coherent responses. Sorry tippy what happened? My (temporarily diffed due to trigger) brain cannot remember. Yay for getting stuff done at home.

I luff romeo and juliet. I remember watching it when I was 18, I was so impressed... Jealous wink. Our telly is not on, we played cards (in an attempt to quench the local lust, it worked, neither SB nor I are good losers) and now we're both hiding behind laptops. The excitement of Friday nights in your 30s.

There is nothing unreasonable about going to bed now or earlier, draff. It's better with someone, or failing that a hot water bottle!

Well done on the booking three million appointments norf. Really hope they can convince a nice shiny embie to stick in the right place for you!

Hiss boo to shite clinic winkly. Tell them thery'e shit. I forgot to complain about my stabbing leading to the single follie I make so well every month when I was scanned again today. I didn't even complain about having a HUGE bruise after a blood test yesterday. No I was side tracked by the compliments on my perfect lining (which hid the polyp quite well)...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/12/2012 21:14

The means you win faif. One day out is close enough!

Btw I am SNOTTY. No overactive immune system. Instead no breath. Joyful.

Northey · 14/12/2012 21:15

But lem, you iz a soppy type in touch with your feeeeelings now! Though obviously everyone loves a furry muff.

I keep seeing "I love my baby so much" in active convos. I really mustn't post "Oh do fuck off". But I want to.

SinkyMalinks · 14/12/2012 21:21

Everybody does love a furry muff. I know I do.

And wassalling. That's awesome.

Northey · 14/12/2012 21:28

My muff has not recovered at all from the pre-op razoring, incidentally. Poor muff.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/12/2012 21:39

What, I am no longer a Victorian Gentleman? Oh nooooo.

Please do post "oh fuck off" I'll come and watch.

I like furriness in most forms (except feline, cos I am allergic).

SinkyMalinks · 14/12/2012 21:59

I remain a cooly aloof Victorian Gentleman.

Northey · 14/12/2012 22:06

Nice money shot, sink.

SinkyMalinks · 14/12/2012 22:09

Money shot

Phnarr.

Northey · 14/12/2012 22:13

I can totally do Victorian gentleman.

JethroTull · 14/12/2012 22:23

Was he even Victorian? I just like his hat.

Well I'm flabbergasted. An insta-diff & a new baybee. All in a day!! Huge congrats all round Grin

Day 2 of stabbing went ok.

Northey · 14/12/2012 22:27

Where are you doing it, jeffy? Do you get a choice of flesh?

Frankelstein · 14/12/2012 22:38

Eurgh, just seen the "I love my baby so much" thread Hmm Bunch of smug instadiffers by the looks of things

Northey · 14/12/2012 22:40

Exactly, frank! Exactly! Sadly I think my "Oh do fuck off" would have to have been first post to have the right impact.

JethroTull · 14/12/2012 23:26

In my stomach. They said you could do it in your thigh but because I run my thighs are a bit rugby player-esque so belly is better as more fleshy. The stabbing is really not that bad. Easier than I imagined.

bluer · 14/12/2012 23:36

I'm not going to be snug I promise. no siree no way.
Just wanted to say I have really appreciated the cod of comfort and all the super besh

Northey · 14/12/2012 23:41

If fleshy is better it will be a piece of cake for me.

Does it feel sore from one day to the next?

EuroShagmore · 15/12/2012 06:36

norfy I didn't feel a thing apart from when the needle was going in and out (and that wasn't painful but you are aware of something going through your skin). I had no problems at all with the physical side of IVF - easy injecting, no headaches. It just turned me absolutely batshit menkul!

I also stabbed in the stomach. They told me to grab a roll and stick the needle in there.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 15/12/2012 07:33

Just to add to the where do you stab debate... I stab in my rower/runner thighs. Just find the idea of belly stabbing icky. And it does not hurt at at all (I managed to give myself some small bruises this round, but I have sluggishly coagulating blood).

Oh and it's my parents sapphire wedding anninversary today and I am baking a cake for 20 people this morning, then rowing, then decorating the cake, then dinner with that cake. Hence my early appearance...

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 15/12/2012 09:27

I was at a conference yesterday. We are rolling out something groundbreaking, yes COMPLETELY groundbreaking. You should all feel honoured to know me etc.7

Can I join in the muff strokage?

And drizz, you could always wank?

I wonder where I should stab. I have extra-twig thighs. Maybe I'll go for the belly too, in defiance of instructions. She said the thigh and was very specific about it. Will it matter, do you think?

I am off to BIL's and SIL's this weekend, along with their ghastly children. Wish me luck, BESH. They were barren too - in the new spirit of oversharing, maybe I can swap stories of stabbing, dildocams and white goods production in hospital rooms with them. What fun!

FizzyFeet · 15/12/2012 09:35

Double congratulations for bluer and dor!

SinkyMalinks · 15/12/2012 10:01

Rie, I'll stick my next out and say you can inject anywhere (diabetics rotate to stop scaring and lumpy bits forming).

And you are also welcome to a stroke of my hairy muff. I hope someone else has one, or this one could get quite bald.

I am exhausted after the week and have slept in and missed my usual running time. I have a sinking feeling this means I'm not going to go at all...

Howdy feet, when are you coming back? Is head space all ok?
