The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

I should have finished 4 hours ago

The computer has frozen (am posting from my phone)

This is not a good time for the computer to freeze...

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2012 00:32

Oh wink! Are you ok?

MissWinklyParadiso · 16/11/2012 01:24

Just home. Thank goodness I have a short commute. Shattered!

Feeling like a complete bitch as well - meant to have dinner with a pregnant friend tomorrow but cancelled, just couldn't face it, and I've let her down.

Northey · 16/11/2012 05:33

Very nice, frank, you elegant clotheshorse, you.

sinky, has another stick been tried this morning?

Northey · 16/11/2012 07:38

In other news, my final few test results came back, and the request for funding approval has been sent off. Should hear back in 10 days. I didn't realise how many fiddly crappy stages there were before even getting my name to the damn clinic. But anyway, at least the results were clear.

Well done Norf, here's to a speedy response.

Get shagging Bugs Grin

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 16/11/2012 08:21

BTW, there's a "How long did it take you to fall pregnant" thread in Chat. Can some of you pop over as I'm currently being outnumbered by instadiffers Angry

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 08:29

I will by God.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 08:29

And I DESPISE the phrase "fall pregnant"

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 08:39

Oh Ffs. "First week trying both times." Grrrrr.

maamalady · 16/11/2012 09:19

I backed you up too

It's amazing how many people say "relax and it will happen" AFTER several people have stated it's massively unhelpful at best.

OP posts:
ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 09:20

I can't stop. I keep going back in.

maamalady · 16/11/2012 09:25

It's like picking at a scab, isn't it?

Yep, still hurts.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 09:25

And now I have been a cow :(

MissWinklyParadiso · 16/11/2012 10:10

I also despise the phrase "fall pregnant'

Good shagging to you bugs

Glad tests clear norf

EuroShagmore · 16/11/2012 10:23

I saw that thread before I popped on here and have posted.

I had a wry laugh at the post about falling pg on contraception twice accompanied with a placatory "it will happen". Which followed a number of long timers saying nothing annoys them more than being told "it will happen" or "just relax"....

bugs how exciting. The sh@g dictator has spoken so get to it!

norf hurrah for the tests being over and done with.

I was reading some stuff on futility friends about DNA fragmentation and apparently ARGC recommend vits and the "vvankalot" protocol to help. So I told KFZK that he has to, ahem, clear the tubes at least once every two days and he looked horrified. I had kind of assumed he was doing it that often anyway.... He does have quite a low libido but I didn't realise it was that low. Most of my male friends have been horrified at having to abstain for a couple of days to do their SAs!

FriendofDorothy · 16/11/2012 10:43

I think you were quite restrained Ariel. Not a cow at all - just pointing out the bleeding obvious!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2012 11:33

To be fair, we 'relaxed' and it happened but only after our fertility ishoos were reversed I will go and out my two penneth worth in!

Poor wink. If you're that tired you won't have the emotional reverse to see a pregnant friend. Hope you can chill this weekend?

Good that your tests are done and you're at the name passing point norf! :)

Get your best undies out bugs!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2012 12:08

Have looked, have posted. rie you were really restrained! it'll all come good. Please. Hmm are you mellowing over time?!

MissWinklyParadiso · 16/11/2012 12:11

Oh - as much as I hate the phrase "fall pregnant" I despise the instadiffers who say 'Aw we wanted to spend time practising'. How fucking twee. Its SEX, people. You probably had it before you got pregnant. And its a lot more fun when you're not trying to not wonder if this will be the time.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2012 12:48

In fact I insisted that we didn't TTC straight after getting married (bearing in mind we didn't do the sechs til we got married) so we could just enjoy doing the sechs. Yes the 'not practising' makes me want to barf. 'Falling' pregnant sounds like a tragic accident!

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 12:52

I'm mellow. So mellow me!

Quite proud that I managed to insert the phrase "fell on a cock actually!"

EuroShagmore · 16/11/2012 13:11

Rie I'm proud of you for that too. Grin

The practising thing is ridiculous, for the reasons winkly gave. And because it is a stealth boast ("We clearly didn't need to practise as we passed first time" ).

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/11/2012 13:24

Yeah. Wankers!
