The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

So long as they know they are privileged invitees to the BESH party

A very good friend gave birth today. She stopped using contraceptive in mid January. I ought to be happy for her but nearly bawled my eyes out buying her card on the way home.

LauraPalmerPlusOne · 07/11/2012 21:11

I understand Norf - it's the same concern that makes me feel reluctant to post on the BESH freds nowadays although it doesn't stop me from lurking.

I just hope all of you know that the current PESH are some of your biggest fans. (No pun intended).

The reason I ended up as an ESH fred is because I love gin felt at home with the ESHness sense of humour being dished out during a not so humorous stretch of TTCing.

Basically, you iz all a bunch of gorgeous, sassy, raunchy, strong laydees and I will always luffs you for supporting me through some very dark times.

So put that in yer pipe and smoke it.

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 07/11/2012 21:13

I'm visiting my BF on Friday to meet her baby. I thought she wasn't ready for visitors yet, turns out she was waiting for me to tell her I felt up to it! I am taking her some home-made lasagne (frozen), cake and Prosseco. We will both probably sob on each other, she says she is an emotional wreck!

MissWinklyParadiso · 07/11/2012 21:33

Have I collected you LP+1?

SinkyGoodenplenty · 07/11/2012 21:43

I've always thought of myself as a gorgeous, sassy, raunchy, strong laydee.

Am amused by winkly "collecting" the BESH.

I am also leaning towards Norfs way of thinking. But as long as the graduates promise to remain bitter and in no way cuntish, it might work. (I can also see the problem with exiling those with win. Which will be all of us, sooner or later)

I think I'm also anxious about being revealed to people I haven't chosen to reveal myself to, if you see what I mean. I know some RL friends of mine are past BESH/PESH, and I also know a couple of CRESH are friends of friends of AMNH (because I have awesome stalking and deducing skills), and I don't necessarily want all of them to make the link.

This isn't an ESH v BESH point though. It's more a group v not group. I think I'm basically just talking myself out of joining it.

FriendofDorothy · 07/11/2012 21:55

Oh I am still bitter. I pride myself on it!

Northey · 07/11/2012 21:56

Though BESH and recent PESH sounds ok so maybe I will join after all.

Hello, I haven't posted on here for a while because as Norf says I have won my baybee and that is not necessarily what you want to hear about when you are going through shitty difficult times.

However it's luffly to see who you all are and be able to say hello, so I'm glad to be invited to the top secret clubhouse. I am still very much a lurker and follower of BESHly fortunes.

Don't worry bugs, these are very remote ESH so I don't think I'm in any immediate danger. I could just see how it could spiral with friends adding friends till inevitably someone I knew popped up!

MissWinklyParadiso · 07/11/2012 22:09

bugs am vair confused about who am friends with and not but will join in

MissWinklyParadiso · 07/11/2012 22:12

Ok fairly sure am friends with Bugs and am on group

Anyone else feeling a bit exposed?!

norf I get how you feel and reckon only those who've been BESH along with you should really be in the group!

Northey · 07/11/2012 22:24

And I hope you all know how pleased we are for you and how much we still enjoy beating you with fish and stuff. There is much luff for you.

Northey · 07/11/2012 22:27

Yes faif, because it is All About Me :)

Nah, much as I would like to insist on such things, there's just so much overlap with everyone having been a BESH with someone else at some point.

I think I might just need to go in small steps towards a group and join it a bit later or something.

List? What list? (Am I allowed to know the secret handshake?)
