Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

James Fx. Sounds promising!

BelissimaLol · 28/11/2012 21:54

Poas again tomorrow almond!!! Poas poas poas.
I'm in two minds whether to poas again next week and see if I get 3+. What do you ladies think!? Is that taking obsession to another level? Blush

andadietcoke · 28/11/2012 22:10

Blol I know if it was me I would (not condoning neuroticism, just saying i understand!) Because I'd want to know my hormones were going up as they should. It's just an extra reassurance that everything's okay, and if I get pg again I will very much want that.
However, do some research - find out when they're expected to change time periods - you could drive yourself nutty testing and it not changing x

BelissimaLol · 28/11/2012 23:03

It's a good point coke as I only have left and I'm close to buying shares at clear blue if I continue to spend so much money on them! I think I'll be 5 weeks sat. I poas tue and got 2-3 so may wait until end of next week. Last time I started spotting at 6 weeks and lost baby at 7. But I also had 2-3 a lot further than I am now but had no knowledge so thought it was all ok so am trying not to panic. Gp app next Monday.
Banana get shaggjng. I don't think I'll go anywhere near DH for the moment. Think he will be pleased with the break! Grin

Thundercatsarego · 29/11/2012 07:58

james, I've just realised my comment about chemical pgs may have sounded a bit negative, I didn't mean it to at all - just was spouting musing out loud as a result of my overactive brain doing too much thinking about every scenario for me. The boobs sound very promising indeed- I had really sore boobs pre bfp last time too, and can't wait to get them again one day! even though I had to clutch them in order to descend stairs

lol I would poas again if I were you too- but yes at the right time so as not to cause unnecessary worry.

almond - any news?

How are all the bfps feeling? Any more symptoms or are you all doing just dandy?

messtins · 29/11/2012 08:15

Quiet congrats Almond hope you get another BFP when you test. FX.

BrieMonster · 29/11/2012 08:50

Is earache a symptom blundercats? (Just going to keep calling you that!) Was up all night with it, and remembered that last time ibuprofen worked a treat and that got my brain racing about when the hell that was in relation to my mc. But what's done is done...

Blol I've been surprised at my self-control in the quest for a 3+ so you are definitely not alone there. May well do it today since if I hold off too long I'll be paranoid that it doesn't actually mean anything. Why can't they do 5-6, 11-12 etc etc?! Same goes for an early scan. I desperately want one but know it'd only appease me for a few days. I was 5 weeks yesterday according to LMP so guess it's a good time to poas if I can't find anything else to spend a tenner on!

Good luck/have fun/fingers crossed for everyone else.

blundercatsHO · 29/11/2012 09:14

Ok brie, I reckon its time for the namechange

plus we dtd last night so even though its unlikely, I guess I'm back in the game

hmm interesting.. earache... yes I think that can be a symptom. I totally agree that there should be sticks that follow progress for weekly piece of mind, or just info about what's going on in there!

BelissimaLol · 29/11/2012 09:19

Brie I think I'm 5 weeks on Saturday according to NHS website calculation. I'm going doctor on Monday so will wait and see what she says.
Anyone else on shag fest!?
I feel hungry all the time and my boobs are very itchy but other than that I'm ok. Also very tired.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 29/11/2012 11:27

Any update BAlmond?

I've been peeing on internet cheapies everyday, and the lines are developing before the control line comes up (happy!)..doing another digi tomorrow to see what it says, I'm a week behind you Blol! Good luck at the Drs on Monday.
I'll go for a private scan before we see anyone NHS-ey..but as I'm only 4 wks (tomorrow) we'll give it another 3 weeks, to make sure we can see something on the screen.

Hurrah for dtd & nc Blunder!

BrieMonster · 29/11/2012 13:08

Caved (again). 3+... that'll just bloody well have to do won't it? For the next 7 weeks anyway.

blundercatsHO · 29/11/2012 13:25

Good news brie!

BraveLilBear · 29/11/2012 14:43

Awesome namechange Blundercats!

And hurrah for Brie! I also had a 3+ this morning... I'm 5+4 by ovulation, but wanted to wait a whole week after getting 2-3 to be sure.

Feeling pretty sick, most of the time, but no actual vom to report yet. Plus very burpy. And a bit bloated. And get occasional night sweats. Did someone say you're supposed to 'glow' during pregnancy?! Shock

What news BAlmond? Anyone else have any symptoms to report?

BelissimaLol · 29/11/2012 15:22

I have 3+ envy Envy
Think ill have to do it next week or I won't be able to sleep. Am knicker checking 100 times a day. Are you all the same?

GaryBuseysTeeth · 29/11/2012 15:41

Broke & did a digi, still 2-3, have ordered more off eBay, hopefully I'll be 3+ by the time they turn up.
BLol, every single twinge or slight bit of dampness in knickers & I think it's all over!

Well done Brie!!

andadietcoke · 29/11/2012 16:42

Yay for the 3+ ladies.

Knicker spotting is a favourite pastime of mine. Well, when I say favourite, I mean I spent a lot of time doing it.

blundercatsHO · 29/11/2012 16:42

Ok so in summary, some of us are crazed sex pests, some are dealing with brown stringy shit, and others are nauseous sweaty knicker checkers?

We're a glamourous lot aren't we?!

AlmondFrangipani · 29/11/2012 20:20

Hi Girls,

Well I am relieved to report that I got 'Pregnant 1-2' on the CB Digi and a stronger FRER this morning!! My OH actually believes me now as he 'couldnt see' the faint line yesterday!! My cycles have been all over the place so not 100% sure how I am meant to calculate my dates as I have been ovulating late. FF says 4 weeks + 2 but that sounds too far if I am getting 1-2 on CB digi.

Brave, Lol and Gary I have been feeling very tired (want to go to bed at 9pm), had twinges and I am STARVING the whole time. I also had a weird hypo walking the dog today.

Lol I was planning to do another CB Digi next week to check it is 'going up' and got doctors on Tuesday evening and will ask them for bloods to check hormones.

Anyone else testing soon??

BrieMonster · 29/11/2012 20:29

Yay almond.. Onwards and up up upwards!

KittyBump · 29/11/2012 20:47

Hi all, congrats almond - I expect the CB Digi is 1-2 weeks from actually becoming pregnant (i.e. implantation) whereas FF will count from 2 weeks before that, as that is how pregnancy is calculated, so it all sounds good to me Grin (I'm sure someone can explain that better than me if you don't get what I mean).

Also what is FRER?

James sounding good!

Blol I would deffo poas again, but probably hold out as long as possible. I had no idea that the tests only went up to 3+ how crap is that? I think we have identified a gap in the market! That and a knicker cam so we can check our knickers without scuttling off to the loo. I have been sat in traffic in my car and felt like something was happening and wondered if I could get away with having a quick look! decided against it :)

I expect I will go for a reassurance scan next time, I did research them this time as I felt so weird about my pg (after initial just knowing i was pg without testing I went to not feeling pg at all and having to constantly remind myself I was). But, I hadn't considered what you have said Brie and I think you are right, a scan wouldn't stop me worrying the next day, but if I had had one this time round I would have found out at 7 or 8 weeks that there was no baby rather than getting to 11+6. So I suppose if you just view it as a snapshot that things are ok at that time that's good enough. Sorry just rambling now!

blundercat have you poas again yet? not much happening with me - I did read a lot of threads about people who had gone straight from ERPC to pg again with no AF and it has made me think about it a little bit...

Big wave to everyone else x

BrieMonster · 29/11/2012 21:07

That's my rationale for wanting a scan too kitty. And if I was offered one I would take it but probably won't go private, will just tell myself nothing's going to change the outcome. Or at least that's what DP will say, over and over when I'm chewing his ear off.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 29/11/2012 21:35

My local scan place it's £50 for a scan before 11weeks.
Going to (hopefully) go just before Christmas (as we're telling everyone over Xmas)....I didn't do anything pregnancy banned on my Birthday last month, so I'll be very annoyed if I'm good over Xmas only for it to be another MC.

Hurrah BAlmond, glad you're full of symptoms too.

BKittyB, FRER is a First Response early response test.
No idea how we'd make tests that go past 3+....I'd pay for my own ultrasound machine though, they're £700 on eBay!!

blundercatsHO · 30/11/2012 07:57

almond - great news re the poas and DH believing you now! sounds like you need to stock up on plenty of snacks - fill the pockets of your dog walking coat etc.

kitty chuckles but also Eugh at knickercam!! I poas on Mon and got a very faint +ive. Almost no colour in the line but I think it was a bfp. The bleeding has all but stopped for the moment and we had only had sex once in however many weeks so dtd we did Wink. We decided not to prevent anything happening again and just to see how it goes. I've read those threads too, a lot of people wait and others get of very quickly afterwards. I don't know if we're being controversial. Dc did say wait a cycle....

gary £50 sounds like a good deal and I can understand getting scan before seeing/telling family at Christmas. I don't know what I'll do next time, maybe even though scan is a snapshot, even having that snapshot is a good thing after not having anything last time, Or maybe its better to stay distanced. So tricky.

messtins · 30/11/2012 08:11

blundercat thanks, you made me Grin.

It's my birthday today so ought to be happy, but it's also the third anniversary of EDD for my first miscarriage - I ought to be sharing the day with a 3 yr old, plus I'm working so it's not likely to be a great day. Had some nice presents and a nice rendition of 'appy burthday' from my youngest, so not all bad Wink

blundercatsHO · 30/11/2012 08:34

Thanks happy birthday mess x
