Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

I went to my GP for blood tests this week as I was worried about thyroid issues as I was always freezing cold during this pg and constantly knackered, the nurse called on Friday to say I'm a bit anaemic, which isn't that surprising as I was always borderline when I used to donate blood. So I guess I'll go back and get prescribed something. Or I could actually just improve my diet which is pretty crap.

I always take Spatone whenever I think I'm a bit anaemic (like you always borderline) doesn't bung you up like the prescribed iron tablets.

ah, what is this Spatone? I've heard of it a couple of times, is it the drink one? and can i but it or is it prescribed?
and in the meantime I best go and buy some Guinness :)

It's sachets of iron rich water - you take it with orange juice as Vit C helps you absorb iron. Available online, in Boots etc and in health food shops.
How about a nice steak and chips to go with it?

Hi folks, I think this may be dpo1, first day of the tww. I'm not absolutely sure because I never got a hugely strong line on my opk's, but yesterday's seems slightly stronger than today's and cm isn't ewcm any more so I'm taking that to mean I probably ov'ed today or yesterday. I'm not temping or anything and this is first cycle past mc so all this is guesswork. I guess I should be testing around 9th dec but I can never hold out that long lol

Could really do with dtd once more tonight to make sure we've done everything we can but he doesn't look like he's in the mood (neither am I really!) not sure how to persuade him into having half hearted duty sex lol

Hope you're all ok, how are you lot doing in the tww? Anyone cracked and peed on a stick at 3dpo yet?

James that'll be me this time next month! Hoping AF will turn up next weekend, then it's back to TTC again (and me asking questions like is 5dpo too early for an frer? I feel sick/my legs ache/my boobs maybe felt a bit tingly last night). I'm not a patient 2w windower!

I have a bfp too, will do a digital on Tuesday, then another in 2 tuesday's time to make sure things are going along. It would seem just having a 'B' in your names is enough this month!

Fingers crossed for you James! MC cycle I had loads of symptoms from about 3dpo, but had nothing this month...I do start poas about 8dpo!

Kitty, if you're a fan of marmite that's full of iron. Agree with messtins on the bunging up qualities of taking prescription iron tablets, I took the Tesco own brand ones when I was last pregnant & they were enough to bring my iron up to acceptable levels.

Hi blundercats-to be... I'm fine, got a 2-3 a couple of days after the 1-2 so that reassured me for a couple of days. Am going to try and just be excited and careful as opposed to terrified and indifferent. Easier said than done. I thought an early scan was a given after mc but not here it seems. 16 jan is my 12 week scan, seems like forever away!

Love the positive thinking Brie - OH and I had a mini bust-up this weekend cos I was looking into getting a reassurance scan. I said I'd rather have the reassurance and then I would feel even more positive and be able to relax. He said I should relax and feel positive and everything will be fine anyway. I should 'wait like everyone else'.

If I do wait like everyone else (currently thinking of ways to release £80 from a very tight budget) my 12 week scan should be around the same time as yours...
