Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

Ibelieveinpink me too - waiting for AF after TTC is weird! I think, if AF turns up when I think it will, I could just about test on Christmas Day too. Although I'm going nowhere near the FRERs after last time. Going to the states on Boxing Day, and the 27th is our wedding anniversary, so there will be lots of things to distract me. If I'm getting a BFN I would really like one before I go. Although saying that, I can't cope with another mc in a foreign country - could be a bit too much déjà vu!!

Been to see my acupuncturist today. She's proper thrilled with my AF because it's the heaviest period EVER (amazed I have any blood left in me tbh) - seems to think all the 'stale' lining has been flushed out and I'll get a nice new uterine lining for the next egg brave enough to show its face. I'm still not totally convinced by her woo but since I've been going to see her I've gone from no cycle to a 30-day cycle so I'll keep at it for now!

Anyhow, am in the rubbish week before there's any point dtd. So pink and thunder pass the cheese round, might as well have something to go with my pate and port. Or shall we all just go out for sushi?

Oh, sushi... Although in one of the books I bought said that sushi was fine as it should be frozen first and so that kills all the bacteria. Knew it was too good to be true [facepalm]

Good news on the 2-3 weeks result bear, with this mc when I should have been 2-3 weeks the cbci said I was still 1-2, so it's a really good sign for you that everything is doubling and doing its thing!

So, I told dp (without mentioning ewcm) that I was "feeling fertile" yesterday, and he goes "aaw, not tonight" why do they always say that when you say it's time to go for it? is it the pressure, or just sod's law? Bumhead. I shall have to be more stealthy. Maybe if I say I can't even look at a penis tonight which is kinda true sod's law would mean he'd be nagging for sex?

I'm the same. If I don't get a bfp this month which I'm sure I will I'll also be due on Xmas day. Cruel!

Right, now on to a question (sorry if I put anyone off their sushi!), since my ERPC last Friday I have had a bit of bleeding, perhaps around a 5p sized amount in a day so not very much. Yesterday I had hardly any, then today I have had full on period style cramps accompanied by brown bleeding. What's going on!? (Even more tmi - DH and I did get a bit amorous last night, didn't have sex but did have a bit of a fumble - could this be what has caused it? Tis our anniversary today so we were overcome with not having had sex for about 2 months emotion

I've had very little bleeding since last Tues, but today much more with a short amount of quite sharp cramping. Lots of fresh blood too (sorry all).

Dr Google suggested cramping could be uterus shrinking down again...I dunno though.

From what I remember the bleeding came and went a couple of times with me. I would think it was over and it would start again. I've been told its pretty normal?

To all who have recently miscarried sorry that its happened. I also agree with lol the on off bleeding spotting can go on for weeks, something I found torturous as it was a constant reminder of what happened.

My bleeding has pretty much come and gone the whole time. Cramps for about a week after, now no cramps, but still bleeding a bit. Hoping af will sort all of that out! Whenever she decides to turn up. Pah.

Kitten, my GP told me the cramps were uterus returning to size. If we have sex on the day/day after my af ends, DH always dislodges something & I get a bit of brown spotting, so I guess it's the same with a mc?
Hope your bleeding is over soon & you can get back to jumping DH.

I have a real craving for Irish Coffee atm, I dislike coffee & liquiers(sp?) so no idea where that's come from!

No idea about the stop start bleeding after an erpc, sorry, I can only go off my own experience and I didn't have an erpc. The mc itself was quite stop start but once the sac had left the building the bleeding calmed right down and was all gone within 3 or 4 days, I haven't had a recurrence of bleeding since, thankfully. Have you asked your doctor?

Hah peanut the ttc domme! I don't think that would work here, unfortunately. Honestly, anyone would think they have the hard job!

Stop start bleeding after erpc sounds very familiar Kitten - I had about two days of actual bleeding and then two weeks of spotting on and off. Enough to be REALLY ANNOYING but not enough to be proper bleeding. And then the next AF I had did the same thing, spotting on and off for a week after proper bleeding stopped, which has never happened before. (that's probably not very encouraging, is it...)

I never tell DH when I'm fertile. I just jump him. He doesn't usually object. Although I think it does make him a bit suspicious.

Hmm, pass the port. I'm another one waiting for ov and a bit bored.

Wise move on the spinach and steak YorksPeanut - I suffer terribly with iron-related backlogging so am glad that the multivits I'm taking don't have a 'full' dose so the effect is minimised!

Am chuckling at comparison of Aunt Flo to Mother In Law, mind. Hope she isn't a permanent source of annoyance!

bear MIL is ok, she lives in Spain so we only see her every so often but when she gets here we never know when she's going to leave again. Not annoying at all.

Sally I'm getting a bit worried about our collective port consumption! May have to move onto amaretto coffee though since someone mentioned Irish coffee...mmm. Am on cd8 today and still going with AF would like her to sod off now, a few practice bonks before the official smiley are definitely in order! Your suspicious DH has got me chuckling too
