Hi ladies and especially newcomers! Trying to stress as little as possibly this month. DP being v supportive and bless him is going to dr for this months supply of Viagra so we can Dtd every other day around ovulation. Just using the ovulation calculator and opk's as I think I ovulate towards the end of what the calculator says are my fertile days. Last month it was cd17. I suppose it will be likely to be that this month too? I will still use them from day 12 and start our deed doing around that time too. Fx for all of us. X

Hi granny apple, we took DS to London zoo on Saturday - was also not overly impressed. Some of the fish looked to be dead, one definitely was! The penguins and meercats looked happyish but everything else felt a bit trapped.

Feel bad now for helping them keep going by paying money over tbh

Af finally stopped today which fels like progress, going to start poas soon.

There's always another month so I'm gonna try and chill and be relaxed about it and not obsess for now!! That way hopefully it takes pressure off and what will be will be. It's so easy to get caught up and lose perspective, for cycle 1 that's probably not healthy!

I know that feeling pixie just polished off most of a family sized bag of sensations by myself.... The waistline will not appreciate it my excuse boredom whilst waiting for hair dye to develop will tell better in the morning if I am ginger or blonde attempting to go back to natural colour (honey butterscotchy blonde) finally plucked up -balls- courage to do it last night to discover 20 min later that the wrong developer was in the box cos staff at shop cbf putting right tubes in right box so my hair went almost black in places so taking it light before to toning it back down -I might have to wear a hat all day tomorrow- sorry just having a rant at the smallest things tww is agonising :( hence the hair getting done when the BFP arrives it won't be getting dyed

Morning all, feeling s bit sicky this morning, dunno if its in my head or what but just have a.good feeling this.month. thing is i have no idea if i have oved yet or not on cycle day 12 but last month had ashort cycle of just 20 days so.not sure whats going on.
Have been using the cheap opks but have yet to pick up a positive on them, but only started using them a few days ago so think i either oved very early or it hasnt happened yet and im imaging things.

Afternoon Ladies, thought I would give you an update on my baby making scientific experiment. I have given up the grapefruit juice for the moment as it was vile and gave me heartburn but main reason was I ran out and coudnt be bothered going to the shop for more. Maybe do that this afternoon though. I will be taken my last dose of Soy isoflavones tonight, hooray, but am already noticing some intersting side effects. AF has all but gone and already I have an noticeable increase in cm (tmi I know - sorry). Headaches have also cleared, thankfully..

Ok today is getting werid, can not be imaging the constant dizzyness! Nearly everytime i have stood up today i.feel really dizzy and faint?! Whats going on?

Might go to the docs and have my blood pressure checked.

Also having werid stabbing pains (although not really painfull) in my lower sides not sure what that is weather its ov pain or what?

Good luck with the soy jelly and think i.might get some grapefriuts and juice next time i vist the shops.

Jellycurls inteeeresting. I might have started on the grapefruit juice after seeing you mention it. And I have started to see results too, though that obviously could just be coincidence

Oh taking I never thought that the juice could be increasing the cm I put it down to the soy iso.... stuff. Def going to the shop for more grapefruit juice on way home. In the interests of scienctific research I will continue

Also family head home today, so looking forward to getting own bed back & suitably ignoring ds when he talks in his sleep in his own room (not so easy to ignore when we're in Sam room as him . Its so.annoying being in limbo.land not knowing! I dyed my hair last night and as i was sat waiting to rinse it occerd to me that should i really be doing this if i cud be pg?

Even if you were pregnant you can still dye your hair! The amount of dye/chemicals is not enough to seep in through your skin and into your bloodstream.
According to the NHS website
"Some studies have found that very high doses of the chemicals in hair dyes may cause harm. However, these doses are massive compared to the very low amount of chemicals that a woman colouring her hair is exposed to."

Hai (in a nice way), if you've always got short cycles you should note down them for a few months & go to your GP (if you don't get a BFP this month that is!), as it could be a sign that you may need ttc.
Having said that I've had really short luteal phases since having DS, so don't stress and worry you'll deffo need help, it's just something you should be aware of.
Your symptoms sound promising!

Jelly, increased CM is great! Drinking grapefruit juice is no so great.

Ginger, I would be fuming if that were my hair! and the council (always bastards!!), hope you have a better day today!

teabag, I worked at London Zoo a few years ago, and after 1 day there I had to quit as it was upsetting seeing such depressed animals (they didn't treat the humans any better), hope DS had a good day anyhoo!

After my previous over-reaction, all is now going fine. Flaking out was a one-off and no probs last couple of nights. I know everyone's cycles are different but how long shud we keep SIE (shagging in earnest!) for? Ov Tues so day 14 I think from symptoms. Day 16 now and I'm normally 28/9 cycle.

How's the hair ginger?!

Doctor said that blood presures fine and im not inemic ect so she had no idea what was causing the dizzyness
