Yey my conceive plus has arrived today. Quite tempted to use it tonight, but as i only have the 3 dose trail pack do you think i should wait till my fertile period starts (thursday apartently)

Ooh hello ladies...tentatively joining you as due AF next w/e & don't think we've made it this month (only managed to dtd 3 times this month so far!). Been ttc#2 only since July but feels sooo much longer. Tempted to start using opk's but sure if I cba trying to sneak about during work to go pee on then...

Ooh I'm kicking myself now...had some conceive plus kicking about from when trying to conceive ds (now 19 mo)...threw it out a few weeks back & it was unopened but I think had a use by date on it? Anyhoo, I should've kept the bloody stuff!

Hai, I would give it a go now just incase you really like/don't like it (so you can order more or choose a different brand).

Granny, I can really see the advantage of using sticks & stuff, but reading the forums here/elsewhere it would seem like you're better off temping than soley using OPK's.
We're JS but DH asked me to use OPK's a few months back for a cycle, I personally found POAS that wasn't a pg test to be an odd experience!

Jelly found this thread on Soy Isoflavones, 74% got a BFP with their first month using them...sounds really promising!

I think I've got a positive, it's a very slim, light line...I'll have to continue testing this week....and won't be updating my stats until it's a BFP if that's alright Stairs?

Morning poco i bought them in Tesco. About £4 for 30 tabs in the vitamin section. Started them last night on cd3 will take them for 5 nights then hope ov happens on time and with a healthy egg

horse of course!!!! And fingers crossed for you in the most non fate tempting quiet way possible

Sounds good jelly! Now on cd 3 but wil try some tomorrow anyway. I wonder if boots stock them!

Hi can I join too? smiles and offers banana and choc chip cake :) on cycle post mc #3 :( my two week wait starts tomorrow apparently I it's od tomorrow ran out of opk and cbf going to nearest city to get cheap ones (35 miles ) defiantly wore OH out this weekend first time using opk and must admit it was very strange POAS that wasn't pg test and found them hard to comprehend thank google :) AF due 29th? October will probably doing a lot of POAS last few days October and first week of November want to see that oh so frustrating second line and have sticky bean :) gonna be a long two weeks....anyone want to help with hand holding? :) x

Hai I have read that the best time to do opk's is around 2pm ish as in the morning your urine will not be concentrated enough and you also need to refrain from drinking for about an hour before you test.. but that is what I have read some of the other ladies on here may have a better idea!

Ginger there will be lots of hand holding going on dont worry and I will be front of the line if I can have a huge slice of that cake?!

I have read that about opk too but sometimes it wasn't possible to POAS at that time for myself as I am a hairdresser (well trainee at a higher up level so my boss has the bit of paper to see I can do my bloody job ) so it could vary between half 11 to 6 o'clock when did it

Hi Lexi, I saw your Oct thread post. I have my fingers crossed that it all turns out okay for you still.

Hai I've been doing my OPKs first thing in the morning as it's the most convenient time for me. As long as you do them at the same time everyday you should be fine (with CB anyway). I do that and got a smiley last month so the OPKs we working (but no bfp unfortunately)

Hai Yes as Taking said I think the most important thing is to make sure you do the test at the same time each day to get a clear understanding of what is going on!

I was 12wks pg with DS when we went to a great gig (sold out Foo Fighters) & I had to leave early as I felt like crap, what other events/things could someone do to guarantee a BFP??

Lexi, if you'd had some bleeding between thur-now I would be tempted to say chemical pg, but as to what it could be (either late bfp or really late AF).
I don't know what the tests are (I guess FR=first response?) but I've got my bfp off the internet cheapies...could you order some of them & resolve not to test until they arrive?

Someone on October bus mentioned that grapefruit juice is good for cm when ttc. Well i have to say its vile so can someone on November bus tell me that beer is good for cm, please?

On and soy iso...... update. Nothing to report except major headache all day and really thirsty, not for grapefruit juice though. But in the name of science and baby making i will continue. Only three more days of SI go go.

Jelly, with both DS & this current one I had been drinking champagne the week before bfp (both times I'd literally only just started drinking again), so for me champagne=babies!!!
Maybe you can test my theory next time?

Awomencalledhorse I spoke to the dr earlier and they said to take a FMU sample into the surgery for them to test and if result inconclusive then they would do blood tests, I was surprised because I really thought they would just tell me to go away.

I have been feeling crampy today and have a little brown staining in panty liner (sorry tmi) so have felt like AF is imminent but my AF doesn't usually take this long to start after the first signs, having said that nothing about this cycle seems normal.
