I've got fertility consultant in the afternoon. Luckily I hadn't cancelled the appointment... Key question - "How do you rate my chances of achieving a normal womble-based pregnancy without IVF?"

My skin has never been worse. I didnt realise what the pill was doing for me until I stopped. My face is okay-ish. My chest and back is like that of a 14 year old who's not yet discovered clearasil. Sexy.

Now I think about it, I don't think I own any v-neck tops any more thanks to the hormonal chest spots.

I might ring again tomorrow. Last Monday they said appointment was in the post. Would a sane person leave things a bit longer before ringing again?

I am currently taking DHEA to help with my elderly eggs. It is making me ridiculously spotty too. Spotty BESH. Nice.

All done. As I was warned, I am border line over stimulating, I've got 1 follicle of 10mm on my right ovary and 2 of 12mm and 13mm on my left. If I put up 4 over 10mm they will cancel the cycle

The nurse is going to talk to the Dr this morning and they will call me back with "the plan". She said they will probably drop my dose (currently 75ml per day) and rescan me either tomorrow or Wednesday.

At the moment, it's triplets here we come!

I've been for my start of week woo, which was nice. She did a bit of shiatsu as well as the needles so my stressy shoulders are a bit less tense than usual (I'm sure a few hours at work will sort that out).

I've been for a gorgeous walk in the woods with AMNH to admire autumn leaves and talk about what we want to get out of clinic appointment this afternoon. He is a bit of a charming dolt sometimes - lot of nodding at everything I say, but no ability to think of any questions of his own. Or even recall what we've tried so far. Idiot.

Heh, Norf, that sounds like me. HOTB has to remember everything, it all falls out of my head alarmingly quickly.

I have managed to secure a cancellation appointment for this afternoon, hurrah! Hopefully I will be able to sort out this long-period nonsense...

IVF referral in the post. Wow! I was all geared up for a long fight for it, failure, and then having to go private. But lovely lovely new doctor just went straight for it. Having celebratory cocktails in swanky country pub by hospital. AMNH is mutinously insisting his pink raspberry thing is Not At All Gay. Ha!

Good news Norf and "hurrah" for understanding Dr.

Clinic have just called, I'm to halve my dose today and tomorrow and go back for a re-scan on Weds morning. Nurse thinks they may well cancel this cycle, but if they cancel it it doesn't count towards my 3.

Forgot to say this morning, nurse said I had "grown a wonderful lining" this morning. She said it was the best she'd seen in weeks [teachers pet]

The doctor seemed completely not worried about my mysterious droidal situation, but I flustered a bit at her and she's referring me for a scan, just to check, which is nice. I'd much rather someone look and check all is well rather than just assuming that is the case! She said it's probably just down to the work-related stress from earlier in the year - apparently that can take a while to have a physical effect? I am doubtful about that, but shall await my scan letter and then we'll know a bit more :)

Well it's all go here, my BF has just texted to say she is in early stages of labour . Bout flipping time really, she's a week overdue!

I also have a clinic appointment- it did require me going apocalyptic at the clinic and invoking the wrath of PALS, (so now I'll be marked as the pushing demanding ptn..), but dec 20th I get to see someone!

Just to really get my blood pressure up, they have told me the delays are due to me DNAing appointments and not replying to letters. They deny ever telling me a letter was in the post etc etc. not sure this bodes well for ongoing cordial relations...

And now I'm home and not on the mobile, I can type and catch up properly!

Perhaps with all these appointments it's time for a mass BESH fufc diffage?
