Its true, NGCECOAWT, so the BESH move on.

Join us in spooky October, for a different sort of Pagen fun. Sod the lentil weaving and organic bean bags, we're channelling pointy black hats, green tinged foundation and probably a bit of Harry Potter.

Join us for cursing of the insta-diffs, moments of pure love and the horrors of the cam of the fanjo - post the Beshtionnaire and the coven will judge you.

This is not a woo thread (TINAWT)

Norf, after the day I have had that made me laugh and laugh Grin.

I also envy and resent all these other animals who are never barren. Bitches.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 20/10/2012 22:29

E.g. sheep, rabbits, dogs and cats.

PLus they only have to do it once.

Northey · 20/10/2012 22:35

Ugh, poor coldy euro. If only you knew how to painlessly jab needles in your own face to make it go away again instantly.

I have spent the day gardening and eating chocolate biscuits. And also wondering when I will be light enough to ride again. It's a mystery.

Northey · 20/10/2012 22:37

Am I making this up, or was there a study done about barren animals? They showed signs of depression and all sorts. It was so sad that I wanted to find the animals and, umm, empathise with them and stuff Blush

Maybe I should send MSB to acupuncture then. He had man flu. No-one has ever been so ill Hmm

eurowitch · 21/10/2012 09:27

Faif have you watched this scene?

It's one of my favourite comedy sketches of all time.

I think I might have a man cold. I am very ill.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/10/2012 13:53

I just slammed the door in our "friend's" face! He said that in future it might be better and easier if we always came to see them because they have a child. I said "Ah, you are one of The Chosen" in a lighthearted way (we have quite a rude and sarcastic relationship) and he said "Are you guys STILL...?" and made some rude hip movements and obscene noises. He was on his way out anyway, and I slammed the door in his face. WIBU?

PS very highly strung at moment due to Family Issues of almost laughable awfulness.

evilgiraffe · 21/10/2012 14:09

Oh rie, I dunno. He was definitely BU, but slamming the door in his face is quite U too. But then, I'm quite a coward and would probably have just retreated quietly and then cried. It might be worth explaining to him, though, he'll probably feel terrible for upsetting you.

Hugs, anyway. :(

FrankelSaysRelax · 21/10/2012 14:09

Definitely not unreasonable Rie. I'd have kicked him in the 'nads for good measure to ensure he can no longer procreate Grin

Northey · 21/10/2012 14:20

Fucking hell. I would be shaking with the desire to physically hurt him. What an absolute nob! Do you ever have to see him again or can you just coolly cut him out of your life forever (my sad speciality)?

I'm sorry about the family issues. Is it Christmas/diffed SIL and everything?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/10/2012 14:29

I think MrA took him aside and Explained (though quite why he seems unable to do this with the rest of his family I don't know). I am quite on the edge at the moment for lots of reasons and so I just saw red and snapped.

The Christmas/Sil issue was making be quite fragile anyway Norf, but now lots of other things have happened, this time with my side of the family, involving my parents and my dad being hospitalised with an "episode" which might be early onset dementia, or possibly the fact that he has had depression and anxiety for years and years because my mum is a bitch. In a nutshell. Tis very hard at the moment and I have to hold it together.

FrankelSaysRelax · 21/10/2012 14:32

Sad hugs for you Rie

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/10/2012 14:34

Thanks Frank. It never rains but it pours eh?

Northey · 21/10/2012 14:36

That sounds v v difficult, aries :( How is your father now?

JethroTull · 21/10/2012 15:31
ThisWitchSinks · 21/10/2012 17:21

A highly strung, but entirely understandable reaction Rie. And sorry about the family crazys.

If anyone is interested and has 20 mins to kill of an evening, here's a video all about Frankel Grin

blonderthanred · 21/10/2012 18:53

TBI came in to the living room yesterday and said, What are you watching? So I said, Oh I'm just seeing if Frankel wins his final race. He nearly fell over. Then demanded to know how I have heard of Frankel!

FrankelSaysRelax · 21/10/2012 19:00

Grin Keep spreading the word!

raspberrytipple · 21/10/2012 19:04

I too made a Frankel related comment yesterday and made some mouths drop as I am really not into horse racing but parents follow it. I think they were a little proud so I'm not going to fess up to how I got my knowledge.

rie your friend was very insensitive and I think I would probably have done the same thing. Sorry to hear about your dad too, dementia is a very difficult thing to come to terms with and having just been through some momentous family shite too you have my sympathy, it's frigging hard.

Talking of family stuff we visited the outlaws today and they have a black lab puppy who jumped up yesterday for a stick and fell on her back leg breaking it and is waiting for it to be pinned tomorrow so is currently in a temporary cast type thing. Poor little mite has been doped up on pain killers but was still in so much pain and the in laws and MATVs siblings are taking it in turns to sit with her to stop her moving and comfort her, she was crying and yelping constantly bless her. Horrible to hear. They have CCTV right around the farm/gardens so showed us the video of her doing it then trying to get up to run away and collapsing and squealing on the floor in pain. I nearly cried it was so horrible :(

FrankelSaysRelax · 21/10/2012 19:06

Oh if you want more knowledge to baffle people with, I am happy to provide it Grin

FrankelSaysRelax · 21/10/2012 19:07

Oh and poor puppy Sad, it's horrible to hear them crying in pain.
