Woo hoo Weechops that is great news fx you get your bfp soon!!

littlepinkfizz · 19/09/2012 17:03

Fantastic weechops Go swimmers,go! X

33PinkLadyApple · 19/09/2012 17:13

Congrats on the :) weechops
This is a positive afternoon, I have just been promoted! Been pushing for it for about a year now and they have finally realised I actually do the job of my boss without the salary to match. They have given me a 10% pay rise now and a further 10% in 4 months (as long as I meet my objectives, yada yada yada)! Am soooo pleased as the more I'm on when I go on maternity, the better! Now thinking if it happens this month (fx) I shouldn't say anything until I get my next 10%...

33PinkLadyApple · 19/09/2012 17:14

although can't see me meeting my objectives with excited, distracted baby brain

wavesandsmiles · 19/09/2012 17:21

Hooray for the smiley face weechops and HUGE congrats to you 33 on the promotion!! I'll be trying the OPKs next month if nothing happens this time - feeling a bit doubtful as it is so recent that my coil was removed....

JellyCurls · 19/09/2012 18:03

Lots of talk of OPK's but does anybody use a fertility microscope? I am" ferning" which I think means its the right time but can I find the instructions?

Double congrats to 33 and weechops x

ella0 · 19/09/2012 18:03

chookford thanks. I haven't tried de-caf (read too much about how that's not great for you either due to other nasties it contains) but I'm willing to give it a try (you wouldn't eat or drink anything if you believed everything you read!).

Takingthestairs Boots is so expensive for Clear Blue digital ovulation sticks! I got my pack of 20 for £32.99 in Sainsbury's (normal price!). My husband is taking Wellman Conception and they're so much more expensive for those too.

weechops yay for the smiley!

I'm really trying to relax now. I get really stressed in work and I hope it doesn't affect my chances.

ella0 · 19/09/2012 18:05

33 congratulations! (missed the last page of posts!)

weechops · 19/09/2012 20:29

33 congratulations that's great!

chookford · 19/09/2012 21:44

Congrats 33 that is great news! Have a cheeky glass of wine to celebrate!! As pretty soon you won't be able too

AlmondFrangipani · 19/09/2012 21:46

Hi Girls,

33 congrats on the promotion! I sort of got a promotion this week too. I feel slightly in 2 minds about it as it is going to be a lot more work and I was kind of hoping to take my foot off the gas when I got pg....we will see!

I am on CD10 and using OPKs consistently for the first time (dabbled a bit after mc). I was doing them in the afternoon but the control line (using CB ones) is faint and I wondered if I am drinking too much? I was going to switch to doing them first thing. Do you think this is ok?? Dont want to miss the +! I also got some Conceive Plus. Seems fine, not really sure how much it helps but willing to try everything!!

Yes Weechops to the Grin! Fingers crossed!!

PerpetualProvocateur · 20/09/2012 06:33

Hi ladies, I haven't been on here in ages as I've had a very hectic time at work. How's everyone getting on?

I had very clear OV signs yesterday (CD 22) so looks like it will be another long cycle for me (this is my second cycle since AF came back following childbirth, and I'm still BFing DS - 15 months). But at least I know what's going on now, and we DTD loads at the right time, so we have a good shot this month. So now I start the dreaded 2ww.

I've updated my info below as I now have a better idea when AF is due.

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 20/09/2012 09:47

Late to the party (as usual)

CD1 was the 6/7th Sept - AF or BFP due Oct 1st/2nd

DTD CD9, CD11, CD12

Missed CD13 due to opting to EOD but then missed CD14 as I had my head down the toilet with sickness bug Envy, DH is working late tonight and won't be home until toddler invariably wakes up so no DTD tonight CD15 and so tomorrow CD16 will probably be too late.

Although I did OV later in my cycle last month - +OPK at CD15 and CD16

Hi ladies

You dropped of my on list so just getting you back so I can catch up before I join the october bus proper when the connecting bus cd1 arrives.

LittleMissSnowShine · 21/09/2012 07:04

Hi ladies going to optimistically jump on your bus if that's ok? Im in wtf cycle 2 post-mc, my last af was really, really light so I wasnt even sure it had def arrived but Dr Google seems to think yes so i guess im in a nice shiny new cycle. Anyway even tho this is still a completely wtf???? cycle im hoping for a bfp around 14th Oct and im ttc no. 2.

Roughly CD10 for me today - tea & folic acid anyone??

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 21/09/2012 07:15

Fx for you, Little Miss.

shineypeacock · 21/09/2012 10:42

Ladies, i need some advice, whats the consensus about drinking during the 2ww?

My dilema is that i have a friends 40th next friday and it is at a pub so will be able to get away with lime and soda - minus the voddy, but a few of us are meeting for pre drinks at hers so am expecting wine, fizz etc! Cant get away with anti biotics, feeling unwell or anything like that as they will suspect i might be pg!

Also if im not pg, i will have not had a drink on a night when i really feel i should celebrate, friend has had a very tough year!

What to do - AF is due 3rd Oct - so probably too early to test that morning anyway and if I do test and it is positive, dont want people to know this early!!

Thanks for the advice xx

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 21/09/2012 11:51

Just drink in moderation, you'll be fine. :-)

blargl · 21/09/2012 16:20

Hi ladies, can I join in too? Just migrated from September thread. Cycle 2, bfp due 24 October. Hopefully it'll be lots of bfps next month!

chookford · 21/09/2012 16:36

Shiney I am with Knickerbocker as long as you don't go mad you will be fine! I spent the first 3 weeks of my pg drinking (I didn't find out until I was 8 weeks gone) and luckily dd is fine!! Although she does have a taste for red wine at 3 so maybe that was my fault! oops!

Hi all the new ladies

Fingers crossed we all get our bfp this month! Grin

TakingTheStairs · 22/09/2012 09:24

Smiley face on opk! Whoop!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

OP posts:
MrsAFlowerpot · 22/09/2012 09:30

Can I join? Just trying to clamp down on bitter disappointment following arrival of late AF yesterday when I was so sure I was pg. So wanted the gap between dd (3) and next baby (if there is one given how low I'm currently feeling!) to not be too huge. Mc'd cycle 3 and 6.

Cycle 10, BFP due 27 Oct (hope, hope, hope!)

TakingTheStairs · 22/09/2012 09:41

Hi MrsAFlowerpot welcome to the bus

I'm so sorry about your miscarriages, lots of positive energy on this bus so we're all hopeful you'll get your BFP this month.
