Sorry if this is a stupid question, what is baby asprin?

lexi there are some women on here who have had several mcs and have been advised to take baby aspirin when they get their next BFP. I think it's a smaller dose than you would get in normal aspirin? I think it has something to do with thinning the blood and can possibly prevent clots . But I would only take it if my GP said it's ok.

yes I am due to test on the 8th Lexi but to be honest I am not hopeful me and dh havent been dtd that much really had a few ups and downs the last couple of weeks but still it only takes once, so fx! baby aspirin is 75mg which is a lower than normal dose so it soesnt affect the baby in anyway but if you have sticky blood (a condition that affects the placenta from working properly) it can help to have a sucessful pg.. a friend of mine had 4 m/c after a healthy ds and was diagnosed with sticky blood, a month after taking it she got her bfp and had a full term healthy little girl so it can work, but as Woody says your doctor needs to agree to it as some other conditions can be made alot worse by thinning the blood.

On a completely different subject. I've got a knee injury and have spoken to the dr about it because I need anti inflammatories (sorry spelling terrible at times) and he has told me to keep using them as it would be doing potential harm to a baby if I was in pain, that it would pass to baby and baby would be disstressed. Not sure I've explained that very well, hope you see what I'm trying to say.

I was just chatting to one of my bosses (the COO) and she laughingly said that my other boss (the CIO) had asked if I was expecting!!!
I always laugh with the COO about how my Mum puts pressure on me to have a baby, so she said to him no way was I expecting. And he said good, we need her too much.
Nice that he needs me.. yikes that he's watching!

okay, slight paranoia. I joked and asked if he thought I was looking heavier and the COO said "god no, it was when we were sorting out the health insurance".. so phew!

Oh thank you Taking and Chookford This is going to be my third cycle since mc. Got a bfn this morning. Af due the 30th so maybe Oct will be our month. BFPville here we come!!!!

Hi ladies, anyone else symptom spotting yet? Only 5 dpo and this is already starting to do my head in...

I'm symptom spotting already - I'm 6dpo. I had weird cramp type feelings really low down a couple of days ago. Not painful in the slightest (so not really cramp), just unusual feelings. Yesterday I could feel gas 'bubbling' really low down (hard to explain, but kind of like a rumbling stomach but much lower down).

Every month I have something different though and it never leads to a BFP: Month 1 - 'implantation bleed' (I had never spotted before)
Month 2 - sore boobs (I had never had sore boobs before)

So I don't think they're anything. I'm staying positive though as we've done everything we could this month.

Despite my earlier post i am symptom spotting. I am about 5 dpo and so far i have got crampy pains and my pulse has gone from a resting 70 bpm to a resting 88bpm. Not sure why never bother with pulse before but had a medical last week so thats how i know. Is this even a symptom?

littlehelp have you tested yet?? Don't keep us in suspense!

blargl I thought that price sounded too good to be true! It's still good though. I haven't tested while ttc so far; AF has arrived a couple of days early every month so far.

Af arrived at 5am, deep joy. Nothing like fumbling round in the dark for a pad and period knickers to ensure you fall asleep again is there yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn. Still, I haz ticket for oct now and my child free lazy twat of an ex actually seeing his child for 48 hours per month weekend should coincide with ov . How's everyone else this fine morn?

At least he will be a lazy, but relatively useful, twat this cycle Purple! :-/

I'm celebrating the fact my trapped nerve in my back appears to be improving. Already booked a shag for later :-)
