Hi, thought I'd start the new thread. This is a brilliant thread for anyone trying to conceive or who has got a bfp after mc, full of lovely ladies, fab advice and a lovely place to metal, so called because someone said metal instead of mental and the rest is history......

Ooooh exciting news! Come on baby Midget. (and baby Jaffa your mother would appreciate a little somersault if possible)

Wilde - hope all ok.

JaffaSnaffle · 16/10/2012 16:50

Hurray! Hurray for mini midget's imminent arrival. Hope all is going well. Will be thinking of you tonight xxxx

wilderumpus · 16/10/2012 18:34

good luck midget!

I had the scan, thanks for your kind wishes of support :). Am pregnant with a little baby still that wriggles and we even saw the nose :) All is well and I actually let myself fall in love a bit today. My head is out of the sand, denial has been packed away for a week or two until the next scan and for tonight at least, I am pregnant. 9+4 at the mo.

good luck jolly! what dpo will you be on fri? I got a BFP at 10dpo... just sayin' Hmm Grin

MrsHerculePoirot · 16/10/2012 18:43

Hurrahs all round Grin

MandaHugNKiss · 16/10/2012 20:07

Yee ha! midge I am with you in spirit! I do quite fancy being a doula, to be honest, but not a woo one. So I think I'd be perfect for you Grin

And yee-ha! jaffa Breech Term! Have you checked out Spinning Babies - advise/techniques to get baby to turn I will be your non-woo doula too when the day comes

DS3 been very poorly for nearly two weeks now. Awful, awful cough. GP says virus, hospital took a swab from his throat after the dr thought he could see pus on his tonsils... but a call to them today says nothing cultured so back to virus we go. So, so sleep deprived.

And, y'know, grateful for it. Sat reading the the thread yesterday for baby loss awareness, holding him tight, rocking gently, weeping for his older brother that he'll never know.

Go go mini-midge! Rah rah! Rah rah! (told you I wasn't woo!)

backwardpossom · 16/10/2012 20:13

Good luck midget, thinking of you! :)

Yay for term, jaffa!

Great scan news, wilde, mega chuffed for you.

Welcome to all the newbies, sorry not to namecheck, but I seem to have lost the ability to scroll back?!

I'm 19+4 today. Eek! Having terrible problems with my bowels (same as with DS, one minute I'm constipated, next I have the opposite issue... sorry for TMI!) and am feeling a bit pukey today. Still have a couple of weeks until my 20 week scan, so not metalling yet. I'm feeling movements fairly regularly now though, which is great. Not so great when I realise I haven't felt anything in ages. But it's too early to be counting I think as it's all over the place and no pattern to the movements yet.

littlepinkfizz · 16/10/2012 21:55

Not been on here for a while... Great news wilde you must be so chuffedx

Any sign yet of our babymidget it's like watching OBEM! Or sitting in the waiting room in the labour ward!

jaffa any sign of jaffajr making an appearance? It's so exciting and gives hope to all of us who have had a mc ( or 3)

possom can't be.ieve you are almost 20 weeks ! Wow! Well done!

Thanks to all x

Daisybell1 · 16/10/2012 22:02

I'm sorry for crashing in with a me me me post, I'm convinced my body is playing tricks on me. I'm into my 4th cycle post mc, cycle lengths are all over the place, ovulation is occurring at strange times - getting smiley faces on the cb digital but with no other symptoms, no ewcm at all, apart from this week which is about 10 days post ov. And then for the past couple of cycles I've felt like I've got something lodged inside my cervix. Like a lump.

Argh!

Oh and to cap it all, I've just started back after maternity leave for dd and was greeted by the boss saying "so that was a shit summer, wasn't it? Losing the twins and all that? You did lose them both, didn't you?" Nice.

MrsHerculePoirot · 16/10/2012 22:23

daisy yourboss sounds like an idiot (I just deleted all the other choice words as they may have been too sweary!!!). How insensitive, cannot believe someone would be so stupid.

My cycles have been a bit all over the place since mc in feb. some long, some short, some with ewcm that matches cbfm peaks, sometimes no peaks, sometimes highs before peaks, sometimes none. I feel that my periods have ever returned properly to normal. I don't think the feeling of a lump sounds 'normal' though - could you ask GP to refer you for scan to check all well to be reassured?

Was your cake delish?!?

Midgetm · 17/10/2012 02:39

The midge has landed. He is content and gorgeous. I on the other hand have had my undercarriage dragged through a hedge backwards. Made it through on gas and air but then needed a bastard spinal as the placenta wasn't shifting. Manual removal under full spinal. Anyway who gives a toss? We have another grad. And it's me Grin

MrsHerculePoirot · 17/10/2012 06:36

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

great news about the scan wilde i was a bit worried for you after the bleeding!!

daisy your boss sounds like a knob. after a couple of years on this journey i can't let things like that go - he would have got a mouthful off me!! get to the gp with that cervix lump problem, it doesn't sounds right. do you have a consultant? i find gp's to be a waste of time.

i have my 16 week midwife appt on saturday. i am going to be brave and let her listen in. i bloody hope she hears the heartbeat.
