Pardon my ignorance but what is a good morphology? Is 1% really low?
I'm sure I've read around here that there are things that can be done but I'm not sure what.,,

Oh, after reading H2B the riot act this week, I finally got him on board with Conceive Plus as our lube of choice last night :-)

He's responded quite well to being told to up his game, thankfully. It could have gone the other way. Not that there was much point to using CP last night as it is too early for its benefits, but I just wanted to get him used to using it.

See what happens this month now...otherwise known as the more sex and CP cycle!

Now on CD15, Missed CD13 due to opting to EOD but then missed CD14 as I had my head down the toilet with sickness bug, DH is working late tonight and won't be home until toddler invariably wakes up so no DTD tonight (CD15) and so tomorrow will probably be too late.

I'm sorry I can't offer as much support or advice - but as for DH's mine often responds well to bets. I bet him he couldn't stop drinking last year until Christmas. He reckoned he could, so i bet him about £30 I think and for four months he didn't drink at all. Cost me £30 but was a point well made. Could that work?

4% is classed as normal. Morphology is the lesser of the three evils (motility and count). As OH's motility and count is high, morphology shouldn't affect TTC. It just means it will take longer (hence me TTC for a year...).

Nice work Nic and thanks Cereal although my OH doesn't respond to challenges, he just shrugs his shoulders! We read up a lot more last night and it's finally sinking in.

I hope you start to win the battle with DP winkle. Does the alcohol affect the morphology count or is it just one of those things?

My last gynae appointment wasnt hopeful. They've finally agreed to do a sperm count for DP again, as they kept ignoring me, they were under the impression that he got me up the duff before - he can do it again. The thing is, we have to be at the hospital with a FRESH sample, less than an hour old, except the hospital is about an hour away. DPs gonna have to drive to a secluded spot and give himself one!! Then dash there and park up and run in with it. He'l get arrested im sure of it. He's mortified! He just keeps wondering how hes going to get in the mood as cars as whizzing past, he said its very distracting!

RIBS ? the jury's out on what affects morphology but we all know that alcohol and smoking are bad for sperm and a healthy lifestyle is what you need when TTC. someone recommended Pycnogenol (pine bark extract0 as good for morphology so I've brought some of that today from Holland & Barrat.

lol RIBS! Perhaps a nice quiet toilet in some back wing of the hospital somewhere might be better? although he might get a few raised eyebrows if the sample is still warm! lol

I've been very irritable and tearful last couple of days, as I usually am with pmt in the week or two before af, so it probably means I'm not pg. :(

CD3 so starting taking soy isoflavonos tonight. It's supposed to release a big healthy juicy egg! Heard many stories of woman taking them and getting pregnant first time so fingers crossed! Got hub on the pine bark extract to see if that helps morphology.

I'm quite interested too...I'm quite wary of these things though, and I've seen mixed comments. Fx it does the job. Did you have any headache last night?

I felt ok taking it! No headaches to report. Only taking it for 4 days.

I'm using my CBFM too - this TTC business is expensive what with all the supplements and OV sticks! Although keep telling myself it's cheaper than IVF!

Hub and I are taking 3 different pills every day... And we're back on the organic food! Read that chemicals are bad for sperm.

Gosh why isn't my life simple? :(

I really hope it does kitty! AF is due Monday or Tuesday....I've actually been itching to test for a couple of days now, but that is exactly the reason I haven't bought any cheapie sticks yet and I don't want to waste £15 so am hanging out to see if the witch shows up. The cramps I had last week have disappeared and I'm feeling distinctly normal now, so not convinced it's out month really :(

Well I have zero feelings apart from dreaming every night , tired but not exhausted and abit windy but lets face it this could all be attributed to anything not pregnancy!!
I didn't even have those tell tail cramps!?
Infact I'm abit worried i just have leftover mc hormones but I did get a bfn a few weeks ago?!?
May test again tomorrow to see if the lines gone darker??

I am okay, not feeling very hopeful again this month. I am in the 2ww. I just want AF to come and then start all over again next month. Had a few symptoms but I am not reading into it. I get disappointed every month.

Have you tested again? Hope that line gets darker for you soon x

Awww well don't give up, if you back read I was uterly convinced this wasn't my month, everything was different from last time but somehow it looks like it might be, it is a protection thing aswell though so I understand
I tested wed with frer and got a decent line and did a digi thur morning, I havnt done anything else, I'm tempted but also feel that's where madness lies?!? Can't tell you how many time I knicker check though
I may do one more frer tomorrow to check the line as have one left but really don't want to go down that route again
( I possibly spent around £60 last month)

I am 11dpo today and had a BFN. I tried SMEP this month. Guess it just didn't work. Just drowning my sorrows with some tonight. I have only had 2 glasses the whole month. Yes it really is a protection thing. I just want keep sane through the ttc process. The start of the cycle is always upbeat and hopeful with lots of positivity. When it comes to the 2ww I just feel so down because I know it hasn't worked again.

I know exactly how you feel, you start off with positive expectations and in the 2ww you convince yourself youve failed and yet you've got to wait for ad before you can start again
Wine sounds like a great idea, if it helps this month me and dh just dtd from stoping bleeding til the day after no more no less, think may have had 2 days between one but pretty much the same consistent and I always drink, not excessively but a fri night without a beer to relax and unwind wouldn't be right

We appear to be upping the game this month, kitty. After H2B's brother announced his wife is pregnant, I've read him the riot act and told him we need to do more. So it's Conceive Plus shagging every other day, then I'll get him every day around smiley time.

He's quite pleased, I think, as he gets to have more sex (not sure why he didn't work it out before!). I'd say he's gone from JSing to TTCing this cycle. Finally!
