Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

I used to get tingly feet just before a, umm, crucial moment in the pure love sort of area. I'dforgotten that. It was many years ago...

sinkyroselee · 29/08/2012 22:15

Ooh. Ive had the tingly feet thing. During a moment of pure love, obviously.

I always imagined fizzyfeet as shredder, the rat out of teenage ninja turtles.. Not quite as high brow as intended I fink.

Sooo. Any one want to throw their knickers in for a reading?

HaveALittleFaith · 29/08/2012 22:18

I get fizzy feet when I'm up really high and scared of falling. Not during the moment. In fact MSB has requested a birthday sechsing rain check on account he thinks I might fall asleep on him!

HaveALittleFaith · 29/08/2012 22:18

Ps luffin the name changes!

FrankelSaysRelax · 29/08/2012 22:32

Blimey you lot talk a lot!

Starting to wobble about tomorrow's appointment Confused. I just know I'm going to turn into a snotty, sobbing mess at some point Sad

Someone slap me with a heather sprig or summat!

OP posts:
Northey · 29/08/2012 22:35

Bend over for a beating with my sacred willow wand, frankel.

Is there anything in particular you are worried about? Or is it just that it's a likely moment for all the stress to bubble over into snotty blubberiness?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 29/08/2012 22:38

When I'm up high and looking down, I too get a fizzing feeling. But it's mainly in my bowels rather than my feet.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 29/08/2012 22:39

Oh Frank didn't see that. What are you concerned about, love?

FrankelSaysRelax · 29/08/2012 22:48

Oh it's the whole "stupid broken, plumbing. Why me?!" nonsense.

As HWHNN pointed out, I'm short-sighted but I don't feel bad for wearing glasses, so I shouldn't feel bad for getting a bit of help with my internals.

The only fizzy feeling I get in my feet is when I've got pins and needles Grin

OP posts:
FrankelSaysRelax · 29/08/2012 22:49

Random "," there Blush

OP posts:
Northey · 30/08/2012 07:30

I wonder if it's because we see so many people wearing glasses and it seems such a totally normal and predictable "cure" for dodgy eyesight. Whereas there is no outwardly visible sign of someone coping with dodgy internals, so it somehow seems rare and shameful and a failure. I definitely feel better and more normal on here where there are so many people talking about their problems an what is going to be done to try to correct them.

HaveALittleFaith · 30/08/2012 07:31

I cried at my last clinic appointment in a similar vein due to frustration when being told I was too fat for IVF. The frustration was about me being a healthy weight at one point but gaining it all back when I got ill. I think it's ok Frank. They're used to people being upset, it's a very emotive topic!

HaveALittleFaith · 30/08/2012 07:32

X-posts but yes norf we're all so ruddy secretive about infertility!

Northey · 30/08/2012 07:37

I'm desperately anxious at having put too much weight on to qualify for ivf, faith. I've just spent the past two weeks lying in bed drinking sugary tea and eating biscuits. And the few weeks before that I was diffed, so relaxed diet a bit anyway. I'm so scared of getting back onto scales. Not least because if I do start fixing numbers on being overweight I can get a bit mental and unhealthy about getting it off, especially if im a bit unhappy anyway, which really won't help anyone.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/08/2012 07:45

Thanks both, you're right we just don't talk about fertility issues in "da real world". It makes those of us with problems feel like lepers Sad

I feel better this morning (famous last words) but I have the droid from hell. I'm in sooooo much pain [ouchy] My painkillers aren't even taking the edge off. Anyone got anything herbal/woo/slightly illegal to help a girl out?

OP posts:
FizzyFeet · 30/08/2012 07:59

Good luck for today, frank. You probably do this already, but I find it helps to take a notebook with my questions - I have been known to brandish this at the doc when unable to speak for fear of meltdown. Also to write down what they tell you so you can think about it afterwards rather than half remembering. In the meantime, have this jumbo spliff.

norf don't be so silly. Drinking tea in bed is exactly what you need to be doing right now. Don't invent future problems for yourself

Anyone want to kick a small metal fucker in the head for me? Droid turned up good and proper after all today.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/08/2012 08:03

Thanks fizz, and yes - Norf stop beating yourself up about staying in bed drinking tea [brews another pot]

Good point about the notes, I usually go over everything in my head beforehand and end up going blank during the appointment. It should be quite thorough today though, the letter says the appointment will last for about an hour.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/08/2012 08:05

Oops, posted too soon!

Sorry about droid fizz [wraps droid in hand-woven blanket and drop kicks into nearest field]

OP posts:
Northey · 30/08/2012 08:16

Is it morning or afternoon, fsr? Definitely agree with taking notes with you, and during.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/08/2012 08:17

It's at 12.

OP posts:
Northey · 30/08/2012 08:35

I have made you a pebble wall hanging for luck. I know you will treasure it.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/08/2012 08:36

Just popping in to say MASSIVE good luck to frankelina! And I don't feel bad for having needed some help in the getting diffed department, although I did feel terrible (and cried) at the clinic several times.

Now I have to go back to find out who fizzyfeet is. Good name. I get pins and needles in my feet and fizzy stomachs if I am nervous or have eaten more than I can manage

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/08/2012 08:46

Aha all has been explained. Btw arie for what it is worth, I already managed to get quite bad side-effects on the lowest (IUI) dose of m-enopur. But it got me diffed, so massive good luck.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/08/2012 09:07

JethroTull · 30/08/2012 09:08

Fizzy how old are you if you don't mind me asking? I never get fizzy feet

Frankierememberme I know how you feel. It's like fertility ishoos cannot be spoken about. Well fuck that, I tell anyone who is prepared to listen that I'm having IVF. I don't care if they feel embarrassed. They aren't going to have to have it. I am & they will bloody well listen when I want to talk about it. . Good luck today anyway I hope it goes well.
