I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (happy dance)

RIBS · 14/08/2012 16:25

BTW when loved the TTC stories, especially the vicar one!

RIBS · 14/08/2012 16:32

Congrats kick. Did you go for the commute in the end? When do you start?

Red I think its more a month out than relaxed for us. We're exhausted, more mentally than physically with it all. We had a token couple of attemps. But you never know, sometimes this is what works.

redstrawberry · 14/08/2012 16:36

Yes all it takes is one sperm to meet one egg! And a couple of tokens is good enough :)

Congrats Kick Grin I hope you did a celebratory dance.

Kittenkatzen · 14/08/2012 16:55

congrats kick!!!! :o

winkle2 · 14/08/2012 16:55

Congrats kick!

I need to ring up next week for the results. Fingers crossed hey!!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 14/08/2012 17:04

Woo hoo kick. That's great news when do you start?

OP posts:
KickTheGuru · 14/08/2012 17:11

I start on Monday and yes, it's the long commute

But it's a big brand (you will ALL know it - more than likely use it too) and the actual job is a nice step up in my career

And it's a 10 month contract. So I have a bit of breathing. Grin

And I rung to cancel another interview and was told that they really want to see me and can move really quickly and can better everything I've already been offered so it's not worth it to cancel the interview just yet Grin

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 17:25

Ooh well done kick

Lolcbcb · 14/08/2012 17:49

Wow you have been busy chatting! We could all be done for skiving off work one dayGrin
Well done kick on new job! What do u do for a living btw?
What does everyone else does for that matter?
Ribs I'm with you on poas. I want to but too scared of bfn so haven't decided yet when I will do it.
Nic I can't believe no change on your situation! Still itchy boobs?
I've spent whole day busy at work so not much time to think. But then one of the girls said my nails look nice and strong and apparently u get good nails while pg. u can figure the rest!

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 17:54

Well done kick!

And yes, Lol, still got itchy / sore boobs and copious creamy CM. I've been quite dizzy today too.

Very baffling indeed. Wondering if I fails to ovulate before and am having another attempt!

weechops · 14/08/2012 20:05

kick well done on the job front

winkle glad you got your blood tests and hope you get the results back soon.

< waves hello tired-ly at everyone else too>

I used my opk today and how sad is it that I got all excited to see - O just the little circle which says no surge yet :)

fatasbutter · 14/08/2012 20:40

Ah there you all are! You chatty bunch you!!
Congrats on the job kick and good luck with the tests winkle and newbie!

Thanks for the shiny new Fred when!

Well, I have decided that even tho it's only cd17 and we only dtd once on cd10 that I am definitely pregnant already and probably with twins Grin

So there...

fatasbutter · 14/08/2012 20:41

I pity poor DH when he returns from mammoth work-ness end of this week...

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 21:26

lolcbcb can't tell me off, < ner-ners cheekily > I'm on annual leave til September.

Twins ay fatas ? Wink I'm going for triplets.

weechops I did too. Dont feel bad for a O. I was rewarded with a dud OPK. Sad Angry Confused there's always 1 in every pack

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 21:32

You can't have twins, fatas, I want them (though I suppose we can all have them!). You can keep triplets, quads etc though.

I'm jealous of your annual leave, frustrated! :-(

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 21:36

Your welcome to my job. Grin If you don't mind working with teenagers.

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 21:41

I'd swap teenagers for the arsey and unreasonable clients I have!

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 21:47

And teenagers aren't arsey and unreasonable?

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 21:49

At least they have hormones to blame.

I'm sure I'd prefer my job given a day in yours though. Are you really patient?

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 22:00

Not even slightly. But they respond well to sarcasm Grin

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 22:03

Always a bonus! :-)

wishfulthinking1 · 14/08/2012 22:04

Just popping by to mark my place on the new thread... Looking forward to seeing the bfps roll in next week!! X

KickTheGuru · 14/08/2012 22:07

I am an analyst now. Grin

Had a big chat over dinner at a Turkey restaurant in Greenwich and DH and I agree that the big brand / big name / potential big chance to improve CV is just more beneficial than the unknown brand / maybe more money / potential big chance to improve CV.

I have two companies on my CV (again, you will ALL know both of them) and they've carried me through thick and thin. Big brands do more on a CV than small brands do...

Lolcbcb · 14/08/2012 22:08

Lol each job sounds more exciting than the other!
So far we have

  • teacher
  • solicitor (nic?)
  • I'm a bank manager. But one of the nice ones so pls don't ban me from this thread Smile
Any other exciting (not) jobs? Would never tell anyone off for skiving. Just find it hard to do it myself sometimes Grin
