Thanks for the welcome Roxy - it's been a big thing to get our heads around - using a donor - but at least it's half me biologically... And he will be dad in every other way.

If you haven't had a period, don't reset your CBFM. As annoying as it is your cycle does not end until you come on.

Roxy I can't decide what to do yet with my CBFM. Last time as you know I started it not knowing what cycle day I was on. It still picks up your peak days but you do have to use more sticks (20). I may do it again so that I don't miss my LH surge or I may just DTD EOD from this weekend onwards. Haven't quite made my mind up yet.

Nicola how are your symptoms today? I haven't had much going on for days now.

Roxy, so sorry you are upset, but I've never heard that about Clomid either. I know lots of people who have taken it. I think a fertility expert is the way forward - they really know what they are talking about and there are so many options that GPs just aren't aware of. Fingers crossed for you.

Lolcbcb, I didn't want to POAS until 23/24 August, although I might try to wait even longer if AF hasn't turned up by then. Last month I got over excited and tested too early, only for AF to turn up 4 days later than in my last cycle.

Somehow I don't hold out much hope for this month. I'm not feeling any "symptoms" at all. I've just ordered a whole load of new - and very fitting - clothes online in my normal size, so hope that will tempt fate :)

I have sore breasts still and my fingers,are a bit fat!

I've had dizziness for the last 5 days or so, on and off.

I had the same shooting pain I had last week on Sat night.

And my ovaries feel achey. But not pre-menstrual!

Symptoms / no symptoms is are very frustrating.

15th...GP at 9am, wedding florist / hotel in the afternoon back home.

A few weeks off, but at least I've got an appointment booked.

Make sure you right it all down because the GP will want to know what occurred when. Wedding flowers :) love it. Will you be choosing them or is it just a check up?

I've already chosen flowers, but the hotel package includes floral table decorations, so I'm meeting their florist to tell him what we want.

Nicola that would drive me crazy..sending lots of sympathy your way! Sorry not helpful at all I know ;) I'm having absolutely zero symptoms so I don't think pretty damm sure at this point AF is not going to show again. I don't know what is better, no AF and no symptoms or symptoms and no AF :-/ For me at the moment I feel it looks like I could be ovulating but no lining is building for my egg to plant. I wonder what treatment you can have to fix that?! Maybe it's the case of my hormones not telling my body to make a nice eggy home? Not expecting answers from anyone just sharing my random thoughts again :)

I get that nicola, being 'aware' of my ovaries. That is normal for me.

I have consulted my app and I am cd24 and I believe 10dpo. Not much to report though. Didn't test this morning. Will try hold out until Friday!

Welcome poopnscoop! What an exciting time for you! I expect there is a thread on the conception board for people going through the same sort of thing as you too which you might want to look at. Of course you are welcome here to listen to us go a little bit mental, but in case we can't quite understand some of the different things you are going through!

At least you have clothes to look forward to purple if it doesn't go your way!
