PuppyMummy · 06/09/2012 15:40

Lolcbcblemonlime · 06/09/2012 19:06

Hi girls
Off to my last before pg steak dinner. I like it quite rare and am taking DH for a lovely bday dinner.

Bunnygirlie · 06/09/2012 19:50

Hi ladies!

Congrats to those who have had their BFP! very happy for you!

Gutted - just POAS and a got a big fat negative :-( I guess that weird bleeding was just a light AF?!? I know you are meant to test in the morning but I don't want my hubby to be disappointed too so waited till he went out. I assume test will be the same whatever time of day you test? X

HazleNutt · 06/09/2012 20:38

well the hormone concentration is the highest in the morning, so if it's early days, the test might not pick it up in the evening, but might in the morning.

Bunnygirlie · 07/09/2012 08:21

Tried again this morn, nothing! :-(

OP posts:
HazleNutt · 07/09/2012 08:37

Aww sorry, but false negatives happen all the time, there's a recent thread here where the poster did a bunch of tests, half of them BFP and half BFN. Still could be.

janey1234 · 07/09/2012 09:23

Oh, I'm sorry bunny :o(
But don't give up as it could just be the hormones are too low - maybe try again in a couple of mornings...
If not, you'll be with me trying again next month - maybe it will be our month!xx

janey1234 · 07/09/2012 09:24

Oops I'm not very good at these faces, sorry! Bunny I meant to put

Oh, I'm sorry bunny Sad

Whoops x

MaxDaisy · 07/09/2012 11:24

Congrats on our BFP ladies and sorry for your disapointment Bunny, its such a hard knock to take. Who'd have thought it, we've probably tried for years NOT to get pregnant and then when you want to get pregnant you find out its actually not that easy!

Still keeping my Fx for a lucky September for everyone. My boobs are extremely sore and swollen (rocking the Jordan look atm!!) I get this most cycles but this one seems to be much worse pain wise (either that or once again its just all in my head!). Im not due on til the 15/16th so way too early to get excited or to POAS. HATE the 2 week wait!

Hope you all have a fab friday and a lovely weekend! xx

fashionvictim · 07/09/2012 14:05

Hi everyone

I'm new here too and so glad I found this thread!

Me: 31, married 2yrs, regular as clockwork 29 day cycle, first month of TTC and already obsessed and going bananas!

The juicy bit: I chart my dates but don't do temperatures etc, but according to the Ovulation chart, we DTD on all of my fertile days (we were on holiday after all!) and I was due to ovulate yesterday. But I think it is late because today I am really bloated and having pains that I usually get with the big O. Or could it be more??

Please can someone give me a virtual pinch on the arm and tell me to get a grip!!

Congratulations to the BFP's and still keeping FX for you bunny

x

fashionvictim · 07/09/2012 14:35

Just realised how utterly demented my post above reads! What I mean to say is we DTD on my fertile dates but I think I have ovulated late. We will unlikely DTD again today so could I still be in with a chance if I ovulate today but we last did it 36hrs ago??

Like I said, I'm new to this. And will shut up now!

HazleNutt · 07/09/2012 15:36

So still no AF and did another test. There is a line! It's not a big fat positive, it's quite a faint one. Faint line is still a line though, yes?

MaxDaisy · 07/09/2012 15:51

A line although faint is definately still a line hazel Might be a bit early to test maybe? Massive FX for a possible BFP in next couple of days! xx

HazleNutt · 07/09/2012 16:18

Thank you! Yes very early, period only just due. Gah now I really want to test again but I don't need to go..
Only reasonable to wait a few days, I know, I know..

janey1234 · 07/09/2012 16:42

Aaah hazle a line is DEFINITELY a line :o) It's just faint because the levels are lower, guaranteed. There is no line at all if you're not pg. It will get darker with time but if you're going bonkers waiting the (rather expensive) clear blue one (I think) says pregnant or not pregnant, and tells you how many weeks. It kind of removes the doubt!

CONGRATULATIONS.

Am hoping all this good news will rub off on me next month! x

HazleNutt · 07/09/2012 17:03

well ladies, I could not wait. Took the digital clearblue and BFP! Pregnant, 1-2 weeks! (well, for some reason amazon sent me a german test, so actually it says Schwanger, but I'll go with that) Grin

MaxDaisy · 07/09/2012 17:19

Massive CONGRATULATIONS Hazel !!!!

This is definately shaping up to being a lucky month for our ladies! Think thats 3 BFP's and counting! Can the rest of us ladies share your luck please!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 08/09/2012 04:01

Hi may I join please? Just started TTCing tonight! Won't get my hopes up, have PCOS and very long cycle. Not even sure if am ovulating. But going to give this TTC thing a shot.
Almost 32, been with DH for more about 7 years but the time has never been right.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 08/09/2012 04:06

weeblueberry an using MyDays too. Just started and am pretty rubbish at BBT charting but hopefully it gets better!

PuppyMummy · 08/09/2012 06:01

welcome zombies and other new people. we r getting quite busy.

congratulations hazle!

HazleNutt · 08/09/2012 09:06

For everybody trying, Fx, but I would certainly recommend some kind of ov tests or fertility monitor. Last month first I was away on a business trip and when I got back, then DH got sick, so we ended up DTD just once. But as it was on the right day according to my Persona monitor, all we needed apparently.

Bunnygirlie · 08/09/2012 16:19

Congrats Hazle - very pleased to read your news - hope all these BFPs are catching!

I think I am going to go see my doctor this week, want to ask about my strange AF and maybe get some advice x

Good luck to everyone x
