Almond officially that was cd17 for me so we started the same time, it just took that long for me to finally stop, I've been having a meltdown everyday for months lol
I'm like when, it did sound abit like implantation but at the same time you'd expect a + by now of it was, late ov is a definate, id say almost certainty even if it's only a few days later then normal, I used to think bfn around the time due was a definate neg but that was before I had that random cycle last month which had never happened before and didn't get a faint + til cd38 so anything is possible til af tells you different, it's torture I know but there's no other way of knowing, I don't think it will be that long until you know for sure either way if that's any consolation?
When are you using the opk? Is this your week?!? I think my ov if I do could be anytime in the next week or two!
I did get very bad ov pains the cycle after mc last time so will be interesting to see if it's the same again, no signs yet

kittykatskumkwat · 30/08/2012 12:28

Almond in my last cycle I had a metallic taste before bfp it was the first time I've ever had it but definate

babyjamesblackberrycrumble · 30/08/2012 13:24

Ou AlmondAvocado could that brown smear have been whispers quietly implantation?! Have everything crossed for you. How long are your usual cycles? What test did you use?
littlepinkfizz so sorry for your loss. There is no reason to think it cant happen again so quickly. My DH is also stressing about DTD so much!
Kitty :) hooray for 2 days no bleeding and a bonus DTD.
posyplum thanks for sharing your cycle info. I'm hoping that I may catch on this WTF cycle I can dream and hope . Must be so hard getting AF after MC.

We could do with a list again! I have forgot everyones details! Blush

Lolcbcblemonlime · 30/08/2012 13:25

Oh almond how annoying!!! Can't believe you are still in limbo. Hope af never shows Grin
When I fell pg in June it was also from one shag only so it does work! All it takes is one little guy.
I've nothing to report. Just that headache over which in itself is a major achievement!

littlepinkfizz · 30/08/2012 14:43

Thanks Suzy and posyplum. It's great to have support here as we are all in the same boat! Least I know I'm not a lone nutjob . Big hugs to us all who have mc now or previously. It's a lorra lorra hugs we need x

posyplum · 30/08/2012 15:24

Oh poor you Almond, I hope you find out either way soon (and that it's a bfp!).

littlepink def not the only nutjob! Am laughing at lorra lorra. Where's cilla when you need her?

Lol I've had a few headaches recently, and have been blaming the weather. Or spending too much time on mumsnet, ha ha.

babyjames it's definitely possible to catch on the first cycle - fx for you! I'll dig out the list when I've had a cuppa (toddler asleep - bliss)

PedanticPanda · 30/08/2012 16:27

Hi how is everyone? I've been gone for a couple of days but feel like I've missed loads, you are all quite the chatterboxes here! :o

Almond I've got my fingers crossed for you - hopefully a bfp soon.

We've been trying over the weekend there but I think we're going to stop for a while, ds was just dx with asd yesterday so dtd is the last thing on both our minds right now.

(my phone keeps auto-correcting DTD to STD - do you think that's a coincidence? Wink )

PedanticPanda · 30/08/2012 16:29

Just to add, my son was a February birth and I was told by his head teacher that he'd be at a disadvantage because of that, so August birth is fine for me.

MunchinMango · 30/08/2012 21:58

Hi ladies wow this thread moves so fast, but that is good as there is always someone to chat to. So first and second days of school have gone really well. All the worrying for nothing tg!!

Welcome to kt and littlepink, sorry for your losses. Littlepink I'm well into 40 so you're not alone.

Almond sorry you are in limbo. I know the feeling you want a bfp but if it's not bring on af so you can try again. I don't mean to raise your hopes but on all my pgs I had that metallic taste. Fx!!!

Kitty yeah to two days in row with no bleeding.

Pedantic sorry to hear about your ds I'm sure your up the walls with worry. Autocorrect drives me mad!!

Posyplum liking the new name.

Lol glad your feeling better. I agree also when I got pg last march. We dtd two days in a row one week and then once two weeks later. I never found out which one did the trick though as I got news that baby had stopped growing at dating scan and I had a very big sac.

Babyjames I've defo forgotten everyone's details. Good luck with dtd on your week away.

Jessie good your back ttc. I'm with you there would love to see a smiley face. Did a random opk yest but no smiley:(

Hi Suzy I know what you mean not having energy to dtd. Although my dh only complaint is that we don't practice enough!!!

If I have left anyone out sorry.

Nothing to report here on ttc front. On cd 24 of god only knows how long a cycle as af lasted two weeks and I have not managed to detect a smiley face. I dont think I can cope with waiting months for another af. May have to think about giving up but really don't want to.

babyjamesblackberrycrumble · 31/08/2012 10:54

Having a bad day today Sad feeling most emotional since the first day of MC. I followed yet another funeral today, that's 2 this week now. Been sat here crying my eyes out since I've got home.

posyplum · 31/08/2012 11:00

Oh babyjames I'm sorry to hear you are having a bad day. I get affected by things like that too, even without the m/c thrown in. You have been through a tough time recently, so it's not surprising you are feeling up and down. Big hugs from me xxx

littlepinkfizz · 31/08/2012 12:46

Big hugs from me too babyjames. Be kind to yourself and try to do something you find relaxing even if just sitting down with a cuppa and a biscuit xxx

babyjamesblackberrycrumble · 31/08/2012 13:47

Thanks Posy and Littlepink. I have picked DS up from nursery now so having to control my emotions. We are going to the park in a bit mso that will distract me! He is only 2 and he said yesterday "Mummy you have a baby in your belly". He must have picked it up before. When I told him I havn't he kept asking why not!

AlmondAvocado · 31/08/2012 17:28

Baby sorry to hear your having a bad day. I find distraction is the best way to cope. Hugs x

Lolcbcblemonlime · 31/08/2012 22:39

Just had a friend teasing me on when I'm going to have a baby. I'm at a pub in a big group and my eyes filled with tears. I told him- I was pg actually but lost my baby 6 weeks ago.
Feel utterly crap. I actually love this guy but he is so insensitive!

AlmondAvocado · 31/08/2012 23:27

Lol sorry to hear that. Generally guys are crap and say stuff without thinking. How did he react when you told him? Hope he bought you a drink to say sorry Wink. Hug x

kittykatskumkwat · 01/09/2012 06:52

Oh dear lol and baby, it's hard isn't it Sad
I've found im stupidly emotional about things, crying at all sorts when I'm usually quite "hard" as my friends would say, Im lucky I havnt been questioned since the last two mc about other babies as my parents know and I guess my little girl is still young but this weekend comming I know I'm going to be asked as with 3 other pregnant girls!!!
I've found distraction the last two weeks a godsend and now 4 th day dry feeling much better.
Posy I love the new name, it reminds me of those flower fairies or whatever they were, do you remember? I think one I had was called Victoria shortcake?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 07:29

Not been around for a little while. Sorry baby and lol that you are feeling Sad at the moment.

Really pleased for kitty though re the bleeding.

Bit pissed off here a few days ago I felt like I was just about to ov but got no positive opk. It is cd 17 now and I still have no positive opk and don't feel at all fertile (have a bit of a cold so that isn't helping).

posyplum · 01/09/2012 10:13

Morning everyone!

Ah poor you lol, people can be so insensitive. I found myself telling some old friends recently too, as they just came out with 'are you pregnant'. Would have been easier if they hadn't asked me the question (as I wouldn't!)

babyjames I hope you're feeling better. Before my mc I had started reading books about new babies to my LO (2.4) so I had that kind of comment for a bit afterwards too. She has since moved onto a new obsession though (making things).

Thanks kittykat Grin it reminded me of being about seven too. It was Victoria Plum and Strawberry Shortcake (and the flower fairies were something else, not that I am an expert!). Strawberry had a boyfriend called Huckleberry Pie!

When sorry to hear you're having a confusing cycle. A cold could well have delayed things. If it's any consolation, when I got pregnant in June I couldn't have felt less fertile and was astonished when I got a BFP. What cycle post-mc are you on?

Lolcbcblemonlime · 01/09/2012 10:57

Thanks for the lovely comments. Feel better now. On way to wedding.
When- could it be that the stick missed it but u still ov'd?
Kitty are you still blood freeGrin?
Hope u have a good day x

jessiethecowgirl · 01/09/2012 11:27

Hi everyone, sorry to hear about those who are feeling down. I've also been a bit up and down lately. Whenever I see a lady with a bump (they're everywhere!) I get a bit sad. And one my bf's is 8 weeks pregnant and in the full swing of morning sickness and I'm so jealous lol.
I'm on CD12 and nothing yet on OPKs, but DH and I are still DTD EOD just in case. Really really want to see that smiley!!
hang in there everyone - soon we will all have our BFPs and this little blip will seem like nothing.

AlmondAvocado · 01/09/2012 13:06

Hi Girls!

Its been a rubbish few days hasn't it. I am feeling the same. On CD36 and still now AF or BFP! I just don't know what to think anymore! Not even a sniff of the AF arriving and the last couple of days I have had EWCM??!! I read somewhere that you can have multiple OV symptoms in a messed up cycle. We haven't been DTD but may try and convince the DH just in case. But if I am OV now I have got another 2 weeks to wait until AF??? When will this awful cycle end Angry?

Jessie I am feeling the same at the moment. Ladies with bumps are the worst and then people with little babies. I somehow agreed to go to HorseWorld today with a friend of mine with 2 kids which means I am going to be surrounded by them today. Must be strong...she knows luckily so at least I can confide in her.

Hope you all have lovely weekends! I had a lovely lie-in today which I thought at least I can still do these! Wink

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 15:27

posy hi thanks for the message. There's nothing really wrong with my cycle (I hope). I am just being really impatient. I have actually had three chem pregs in a row, I joined the thread because I am getting investigated for recurrent mcs. GP was good enough to send me for tests even though they were very early losses.

lol you could be right about the stick missing it, I kind of hope that is what it is as I should be covered dtd wise if I did ov.

jessie good work with the eod, I wish I had your stamina

almond can't believe af is still keeping you waiting.

posyplum · 01/09/2012 16:18

Hi almond - ah, horseworld, I know it well! I had yet another friend have a baby last week, and one expecting this week, and both those have DC1s exactly my LOs age. And a pregnancy announcement with the due date I should have had. I know dates don't really mean anything but they did make me a little sad.

Jessie, sorry to hear you're also up and down. I think we all need some PMA!!!

Anyone got any?

posyplum · 01/09/2012 16:20

ps almond, I forgot to say that I have heard that ewcm can occur before AF. Though I hope it's a 2nd ovulation that you can grab! How long are your cycles normally? Hope that either your BFP or AF come soon so you know where you are, it's horrible being in limbo.
