Whenshe - friends can be so thoughtless can't they. I went round to see two friends recently and after ten minutes they started asking me if I was pregnant. I would never ask someone that!

How is everyone this evening? I have just cooked a curry I couldn't eat because it was so hot (my throw it all in without measuring thing probably shouldn't stretch to chilli powder), but DH seemed happy.

When, that test was abit out of order, even of you just text saying was just thinking about you and wanted to see if you were ok, it would be an opening without jumping right in, sounds like that friend who asked me why I'd had a mc! Ur I don't know do you think there's anything wrong she was saying, ummm not helping I was thinking!!
I'm still bleeding worse today then the last 2, I'm sick of it, I'm not going to hold out any hope for this cycle as I have literally no idea where I'd be and I just can't be bothered doing opk all cycle, my body just feels broken at the moment , but I'll still lurk, I'm not dead after all

Thanks baby for letting me know long bleeding isn't all that uncommon, I fear that's what happened with me as not had any day with a really heavy bleed and think it struggeling to clear

Thanks posy. She is really sweet but she gets pregnant (and hangs on to them with no trouble). So I don't think she is trying to be insensitive she just hasn't been there and doesn't get it.

Kitty- on the August thread there were 2 bfps over the last week, one for berri and one for bananas so a few of us added fruit to our names for good luck. Silly I know

Hi girls, I tried the Superdrug tests a few days ago and got the faintest almost not there line 2 days in a row so went and bought FRER test and nothing. They are the most sensitive so think thats pretty conclusive! I wonder if the strip shows through on them? AF due tomor so just going to have to wait for it to arrive . I'm having wine as we speak and had sushi for tea so I'm doing everything anti pregnancy !

On a good note got some lush new clothes (but did opt for stretchy stuff JIC!).

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have 3 nine year olds, and 1 five year old, so DH is not being totally unreasonable in thinking we have enough. It's just, with the triplets life was so hectic, chaotic babyhood- I missed out on those joyful moments where one simply relishes her infant's fleeting newness, and did not even know what I had missed out on till I had the "singleton"...

You had triplets I struggled a lot with one when she was tiny (colic).

Thanks kitty I have been toting up the number of insensitive responses to my chem pregs (the v few who know). It is only that that have been there themselves who say anything vaguely pleasant. I know the rest are trying to help though.

Triplets god that must have been hard, I can't begin to imagine!!!
Hard day with dd today where I must admit bedtime could not come soon enough and I thought am I mad wanting another now, she is 1, if I hadn't mc first time I'd be due in 4 months
When, we have lots in common my dd had colic too, god it was hard, you can't begin to describe it can you!! Make sure you get the book I mentioned though about sleep next time as I really think its amazing as even my monkey was on 12+ a night straight at 12wks, at worst she cried for 8 hrs solid one night and I was on my own!!

Just a bit of help really. Mc wasn't recent last one was 6 yrs ago but was at 18wks and a horrible experience. Pregnancy with ds was difficult from the beginning and followed in PND. Basically I've had a crap time when it's come to pregnancy! Dh and I are wanting no 2. We have started not being so careful on the contraception front tonight and basically I got cold feet, suddenly very scared of the reality but so gutted as really want another. Need some advice and support from those who have been there and understand. Oh and just come off fluoxetine after 8mths of depression and anxiety .

Wow, triplets Eire. Your house must be busy! It is understandable that you want to experience another baby though. What does your husband say? I think my husband may take persuading if ever I get to the position of wanting a third. I think I do, and he has made it pretty clear he's not keen.

Hello cupcake. I am so sorry to hear about your late miscarriage. That must have been so awful. I am sorry to hear that you've had a crap time with pregnancy and not surprised you feel worried. How old is your DS?

I'm sorry to hear about your late mc, that must have been really harrowing for you and difficult, have they told you that you will be likely to experience problems in a pregnancy again?

Drs have been lovely and as tests brought back no problems it's luck of the draw. PND (post natal depression)

Will a vegetable do? When put with posy all the fruits I have tried make me sound like I am about seven!

I think it is very hard for someone else to try and put themselves in a position different to there's so not really sure what to advise you, I think I would work with doctors to decide what is best to do with depression and that aspect as what is right for you wouldn't be right for everyone else but if they say the pregnancy aspect was just bad luck then you have to decide if your willing to take that risk, it may well be a hard pregnancy or filled with Anxiety but is it worth it to you for another dc? Or are you happy with your ds, to an very scared of what could go wrong when we try again or the fact I could have more mc etc but I know I want another do I'm prepared to take that risk but if it was that it could cause problems to me/ my family and my mental well being it is possible I would not feel the same

Morning ladies. Welcome Eirehead and cupcake. Sorry for your losses. Eirehead I can't even begin to imagine how you coped with triplets and thanks for sharing article. cupcake deciding to ttc is scary but if your doctor thinks you are ok then go for it as you may regret not ttc later on in life.

Well I'm technically on cd 20. Don't know if I Ov or not. Haven't tested in a couple of days. But dtd anyway jic.

I realise it still may rear its ugly head but non all night and not up till now apart from a tiny but of yellowey discharge so I think that's a good sign, plus dh is now off for 4 days so well timed for " getting it on"

Kittykats- I have also stopped bleeding this morning! So relieved. I did a cheap HPT and BFN- thrilled! I am so, as they used to say in my teen years, "psyched". In order to tempt fate, I gathered up the remainder of baby stuff I had (hoping to need things shortly) for DH to hand to his SIL today, then went to an outlet shop and bought 3 size 12 dresses, which hopefully will not fit soon! Combining science and superstition in prep for TTC!
