webminx, hello lovely, welcome to the thread. I'm am very sorry about your loss.
I'll try and answer your questions as best as I can :)
For a lot of people, me being one of them, twice, there is no explanation or underlying reason for miscarriage, especially ones which occur early in pregnancy. Can I ask how far on you were when you miscarried? The statistics vary, but a common one is 1 in 4 pregnancies sadly end in a loss. These losses are to do with random chance at conception - just the particular way in that particular circumstance. When you say there was no reason, did you have any tests done?
Then there are some women who have specific problems that increase their risk of miscarriage. These can include clotting problems, the structure of the uterus or cervix, and hormone imbalances. I'm not very knowledgable about these, but I think things like lupus, or dodgy thyroids can cause problems.
I am not sure how much investigation and testing you have already, but if what you have been told is true, that there was no reason for it, then it really sadly is just one of those things. There is nothing you didn't do before, or could do going forward that would make any difference. I am sorry you are the subject of theories. It is very hard, I find it very unnerving not to have any answers or anything in my control, but in someways it takes some worry away.
If you mc in June, and have just stopped bleeding, that is quite a long time. Was there any reason why it lasted so long? Also, you might be anaemic- have you been checked over? Post miscarriage cycles can be mental. We call them the WTF cycle on this thread! Some people bounce straight back to normal while others have months of
weirdness.
Please don't worry about being able to get pregnant again after mc, mc does not mean you have gone wrong somehow... It means you have had the one pregnancy in 4 that ended in a loss. With in that group, (and this group), there is a wide spectrum of experience, but no future problems is the most likely outcome.
