Hi jolly sending love and hugs from sunny Spain x.

I have finally stopped bleeding 2 1/2 weeks from the mmc :) time for the healing process to begin :).

Will catch up in a couple of weeks after hols - I'm off for a spanish measure of something strong :)

Jollyb · 16/08/2012 20:35

Thanks everyone - your posts really do help. Hair is looking lovely - I went to a very swanky salon and was truly pampered.

Pebs - I've opted to try the natural route this time as I'm much earlier and my sac was tiny so I'm hoping there isn't too much to pass. I'm also off on holiday tomorrow. From what the nurse was saying they would have been happy to give me an ERPC. Interesting they don't offer medical management here.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Xx

MissCoffeeNWine · 16/08/2012 20:36

Hello. Does anyone remember me?

Lovely to read about pebs state midget moomin leedy and wilde are getting on - wondering how tits and martha are? Sorry if I miss anyone it's been a while Blush

Usual congratulations, commiserations, welcomes and good lucks to all on this lovely thread x

tasmaniandevilchaser · 16/08/2012 22:36

hello, it's been a long time, just popped in to say hi to everyone, new and old.

pebs brilliant news! congrats!

missc hi, how are you doing? you must be due soon, hope all is going well.

Wondering where martha is - how are you doing?

midget so happy to hear it's all going well

sorry to hear jolly and pixie's sad news

We're still trying, though with only one tube, I'm not holding out too much hope, just trying to get on with life. I do feel a lot better, it's been 6 mths since the ectopic and I am feeling much more myself.

lurcherlover · 16/08/2012 22:54

jolly so sorry to hear your scan news. Really hope your holiday helps - I went away a fortnight after my mc and it did really help actually.

pebs good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

I finally got my hcg levels back. They've gone from 90 to 393 in six days. Not sure what to think really - the gp was happy with them and told me to book in with the mw, but if they had doubled every 48 hours like they're meant to they would have been in the 700s. I've booked in with the mw anyway but am going to ask for an early scan as I'm still not feeling at all confident that this pregnancy is progressing as it should.

MissCoffeeNWine · 16/08/2012 23:17

Glad to hear you're doing well tas it only takes one after all. Yes, I'm due soon, Little Miss Coffee isn't so little now but is still tucked up in there kicking. I might have to seek out the grads thread I'm STILL metalling and prodding the poor kid to make her move even at 37 weeks. She's going to love life on the outside getting some peace and quiet Blush

lurcher fingers crossed but they are rising well as far as I can see - I don't think it's an exact science - what is in this lark really?

Jollyb · 16/08/2012 23:34

Lurcher as i understand the doubling time can be longer in some women, closer to 72 hours so please don't stress too much Easier said than done I know.

pebspop · 17/08/2012 10:50

back from the scan. everything was fine!

got another scan next week and they are reffering me for a midwife who will see me at my house on a much more regular basis than normal and will stick with me throughout the pregnancy and labour. this will be much better than the usual system of seeing anyone who is available at the local childrens centre at 10 and 16 weeks.

backwardpossom · 17/08/2012 10:51

Ah that's brilliant news pebs! Grin

icequeenkate · 17/08/2012 10:59

pebs that is fab news. Have been hoping it would be good all morning!

jolly so sorry about your news. I had my mc on holiday over Easter, and although it was horrid, I did at least have lots of other things to focus on?

lurcher sorry your levels are not performing as you'd like. Same happened to me and I had lots of messages from people who'd had the same and gone on to carry their pregnancies through. I guess it's just a waiting game now. fx for you.

StateofConfusion · 17/08/2012 11:11

Great news pebs really glad they're giving you extra care xx

Jollyb · 17/08/2012 11:50

pebspop · 17/08/2012 14:07

MissCoffeeNWine · 17/08/2012 14:28

That's such good news pebs - you deserve it so much! Congratulations, so lovely to see you optimistic and I'm so glad they'll be looking after you.

lurcherlover · 17/08/2012 14:47

Brilliant news pebs Grin

JaffaSnaffle · 17/08/2012 15:12

tas and mscoffee, lovely to see you on here after all this time!

mscoffee, You've made it to term! So pleased after all those scary months.

tas, I have every faith your time will come. My friend got pregnant after an ectopic, and she was 40. I think she had given up completely. Her little daughter is my daughter's friend.

pebs fabulous news. I'm so pleased for you. Really good about the extra care too

I've moved house this week. Not much fun when 28 weeks pregnant, and we have to do it again in a months time.

I've got to get on with more unpacking - deep joy- sorry for quick post, waves to everyone x

MissCoffeeNWine · 17/08/2012 16:32

Term, yes, you're right, after all that late-mc early-baby stuff term is good.

I'm just a bit too worried about getting her out and safe to see it at the moment. But I'm on the countdown, now, and all set for my home birth too so I get to metal about that as well!

wilderumpus · 17/08/2012 18:16

oh jolly. what a total fucking shitter for you :( here Wine. Your hair is super cool :)

hello miss! term, woooo!

yay pebs! yayayayay.

sorry you are worried lucher chuck. Sounds good to me... but I know nothing so... (no help!)

I am in a land of confuddlement as I have strong ov symptoms but my opks since Tues have only been showing strong oh-so-near-pos in the morning and then neg by lunchtime, indicating that I am trying to surge but am not popping an egg. So think I am having an anovulatory cycle? Would i still be all bloated and spotty and generally having post-ov symptoms if that was the case?

I wonder if i ov'ed last week instead (am CD21) and have started my opks too late.

am annoyed that my regular, lovely predictable cycle has gone awry!

wilderumpus · 17/08/2012 18:17

sorry chuck I missed you in the crowd Grin

Quicksie · 17/08/2012 21:03

Ladies just had to log in from my holiday to tell you my oh has just proposed! And I said yes!

wilderumpus · 17/08/2012 21:07

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! congrats quicksie! how lovely lovely :) :)

Tiago · 17/08/2012 21:12

Congratulations quicksie.

Sorry it didn't work out for you Jolly. Hope your holiday goes well.

Pebs - brilliant news. So happy for you. We will all get there eventually.

News here is that I am back from the US (which was amazing) and had a scan today at 28+5. All with well with little miss and I am now hurtling towards maternity leave (5 weeks today will be my last day)!

StateofConfusion · 18/08/2012 20:15

Congratulations quicksie Grin have a wonderful time xx
