Thought we could do with a new thread since the old one is full.

OP posts:

Morning all. Thanks for the delicious breakfast monkeys - the pancakes were perfect.

cah I can remember being so happy when I got my first period too. Mine took 9 weeks after ERPC which felt a very long time.

Dorita hope everything's going a bit better for you now and the lump issues have been resolved.

monkeys hope you're feeling ok. It feels so unfair that TTC is such an exhausting, consuming business for some yet for others it happens without even trying.

pixie - I hope everything's ok x

Sorry for any others I've missed but am on holiday and so on my phone. Haven't quite worked out if there is a way of flipping back to the thread. I'm around 4DPO(or 2 weeks pregnant!) I'm being good and not have too much French rose - the occasional glass for medicinal purposes. Out of interest how do other's behave in the 2WW? Do you abstain and act as if you are pregnant or do you just continue as normal. Before I've been of the keep on as normal but as time passes am beginning to wonder.

wilderumpus · 18/07/2012 11:11

jolly am 3dpo! I am going to have drinks this weekend but not loads and loads and I am avoiding lovely cheeses etc. And am only drinking two home coffees a day! Gosh I am into this more than I thought Grin I normally continue as normal but that is because we have only actually ever had one month of proper trying and that month we made a baby! So thinking that this month we really tried and then going and being all drunk and caffeinated makes me think why did I bother... That is JUST me though.

pixie I hope you are ok.

hey wifey good to see you back.

off to nosy at lurchers thread now.

wilderumpus · 18/07/2012 11:12

ps I have been scrapping on another thread Blush

Must be premenstrual!

wifey6 · 18/07/2012 11:22

Thank you...but Oo dear wilde...scrapping!! Wink
I am 8 DPO & stupidly POAS this morning as Dr Google said that even a faint BFP could be detected if sensitive tests were used! Angry BFN...but logic tells me that the tests can be used 4 days before AF due..not bloody 6-7 days!

squeakymac · 18/07/2012 12:31

Shit shit shit!!

My boss (new male boss, just started new post) just caught me on the mamas and papas website looking at maternity clothes. Red handed. And he has 4 (one brand new baby) so I'm pretty sure he knows it's a baby site. Oh well he'll just have to wait to be told officially as not planning on telling anyone til after 13 weeks for obvs reasons...

Bollocks and I was doing so well hiding pukiness (I thought!)!!

Sorry all me will catch up properly later on lots happening I see! Smile

wilderumpus · 18/07/2012 12:43

wifey step away from the sticks :) (please tell me the same next week!)

squeaky NOOOOO! Oh dear! Ah well, he can't say or do anything so... Ooh I know, loudly make a cup of coffee and drink it right in front of him. And pointedly place some camembert on your desk :)

And then talk about how being on the pill has killed your libido. No? Too far? fair enough...

more realistically you could have been shopping for a friend...

gothinrecovery · 18/07/2012 13:21

Hi thanks for the advice everyone, sounds as though it is definitely post MC weirdness. I am in a lot of discomfort as well which is not helping - worst AF in a long time. Gah!

Pixie I hope everything is okay? x

Polka2 · 18/07/2012 17:28

Haha that really made me laughwilde break out the Camembert!!Wink

Quicksie · 18/07/2012 18:26

wilde that made me laugh too - a nice ripe cheese on the desk all day would certainly keep the boss in his office! If he has 4 of his own squeaky he might be quite understanding about why you might not want anyone to know...or, he could be like most blokes and it has gone totally over his head!

oo00PIXIE00oo · 18/07/2012 20:34

Hello ladies slipping quietly in sorry for not giving you all an update yesterday but was feeling awfully sorry for myself and to be fair I have no right to be!!!

Scan was at 8 am and after a near sleepless night worrying and guzzling down the required amount of water we are at the scan! Last af on 22/5 28 day cycle makes me exactly 8 weeks but nurse couldn't see anything I thought my nightmares had come true and it was all in my mind!

So after a pee it's dildo cam time :( baby is there but no hb to be seen - from the size of baby I'm only 6 weeks so have to go back for another next Friday!

Was sooooo disappointed - not only no hb - the dates have out me back to pre-mc time so let the worrying commence again :(!

Try to keep reminding myself today I am pregnant but can't help feeling on the down side! That's truly selfish of me and I'm really sorry!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 18/07/2012 20:45

Oh pixie ((hugs)). Is there anyway you have miscalculated your dates? It is not over 'till it is over.

I have my scan tomorrow and am worried I'm going too early at 7+2. [worried emoticon]

oo00PIXIE00oo · 18/07/2012 21:05

Hi confused that's what the nurse asked but my mc was 25/4 and I have been keeping a diary since my last bfp before the mc Confused

Good luck for tomorrow I'm sure you'll be fine it's just me being silly Blush

Eagerly await your update tomorrow x

Quicksie · 18/07/2012 21:35

Pixie it could be a post MC dates thing...My Ov has been all over the place and periods have been really confusing too, not fitting in with what they are supposed to do! Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you, don't feel bad about feeling like you do, you aren't being selfish.
confused 7 +2 should be fine shouldn't it, if your dates are out they will call you back for yet more sitting, waiting with a full bladder!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 18/07/2012 21:47

Quicksie may have a point. I thought we'd missed ov last month as we only managed to DTD on CD11. But it would seem I oved early.

So if I oved early there's no reason to think that you (Pixie) didn't ov late. [Hopefull emoticon]

ConfusedMumDotCom · 18/07/2012 21:49

Hmm. They didn't mention full bladder, I think it must be straight in for dildocam. Blush

wonders whether to do a little home topiary.... Makes a cup of tea and has a digestive instead

Midgetm · 18/07/2012 22:55

Confused good luck tomorrow, sod tidying the lady garden. They have seen it all before.

pixie I had a very similar experience with DD, conceived in the wtf cycle. So keep a shred of hope, your dates could be screwed up and a couple of days could make a difference. Hang in in there.

I have been metalling all day, reduced movements. Thankfully enough movement to stop me taking myself to triage but only after making me worry all day. The metalling can still take me by surprise even this far in. Damn and blast it.

Quicksie · 18/07/2012 23:10

confused I am with midget on the gardening...They don't appreciate the effort, so sod it. I would recommend a quick shufty round with a flannel, maximum.

Quicksie · 18/07/2012 23:13

midget hope you get some satisfying disco shapes going on soon! The metalling seems inevitable doesn't it, why am I trying so hard to get myself in to a situation inducing massive stress?!

backwardpossom · 18/07/2012 23:29

Hi all, just back from France - had a brilliant holiday. Going to bed, am unbelievably shattered. Am still pregnant. 6 weeks. Will probably need lots of hand holding in the next couple of weeks as 7 weeks is when the mmc happened last time... Will try to catch up tomorrow, but am just marking my place. Hope you're all ok x

Dorita75 · 19/07/2012 06:03

I've got everything crossed for you pixie the week wait is horrible but try and stay calm, you are pregnant today.

Thanks quickSie and twomonkeys everything's ok, just frustrating to have lost a month, but DP ok tho if nothing happens in next few months we'll prob get sperm count done as he's got something called a varicocele which doesn't cause infertility but evidence is inconclusive as to impact it can have.

However, as DP doesn't like heat very much, I'm off on a week's hol in Greece with his and my sister! Leave in an hour and although am sad to go without him, I'm thinking of how relaxed I'll be when I get back, gagging to see him and will have had loads of vitamin D from the sun, so it's gotta happen soon hasn't it??! Just had time to dtd last night, stupid longer cycle this month means I'm fertile from 2mo instead of from yesterday, typical, but you never know....
There's WiFi in hotel so I'll still be lurking to keep up with everyone!

Dorita75 · 19/07/2012 06:04

Err, should just confirm that dp's sister and my sister are two separate people....read that back and it sounded wrong wrong wrong!

Dorita75 · 19/07/2012 06:06

Holding your hand backward possum x

Polka2 · 19/07/2012 07:59

pixie you ARE pregnant today hold on and fingers and toes crossed that next week will give you more peace of mind.

confused very good luck today, thinking of youWink

And for you other ladies here's some brekkie pancakes and coffee(de caff of course?!)

wifey6 · 19/07/2012 08:10

pixie....keeping everything crossed for your scan next week.
confused...good luck today...thinking of you.
This ttc malarky is stressful isn't it! Only 9DPO & cant shake this sicky feeling . Daren't get my hopes up.
Countdown to Pregnancy is a very good website .... After my 8DPO POAS-crazy moment yesterday..I find the site 'talks me out of' POAS til the stats say its right to! .Blush

gothinrecovery · 19/07/2012 08:54

Pixie just wanted to send hugs, I hope everything will be okay, it's entirely possible you may have ov'd late due to post MC weirdness.
