Hoping the luck continues here.....

Bit confused. I did get Af on Sunday morning but very, very light and mostly, not exclusively, brown.. It had stopped by yesterday morning (only used two pads - sorry if tmi) so soon even DF commented 'it can't be over'

Someone please tell me I shouldn't get my hopes up. Grasping at stares I think.

Kitty, which test did you use? I would also have said a line is a line...I'm not sure how many days into your cycle you are, perhaps tomorrow will be darker.

I don't know make it was, they wernt in a packet and came free with from eBay with the opk I bought, they were obviously cheep and yes I thought they would work like all other tests!!!
I'm cd28 cycle varies up to 33 days , no idea on ov this month

Af due Monday (two days ago). Bled a little in Sunday, only light but definitely bleeding. Then brown in Monday and by Tuesday morning it had stopped.

Like most on here I want to conceive so much I am aware I'll clutch at straws. Not sure I should test again soon.

The only thing I'd be abit dubious about now for you is that it was the time af was due, when it happened to me the fact it was so much earlier then normal was the first thing that struck me

I would say test pooley, if only to put your mind at rest. You've experienced something unusual to your cycle so I think its fair to do a test to see if that is why.

Never heard of pg tests that need the line to be the same colour kitty. Get a better test! That's too vague to give you such an important answer! Can you get yourself to superdrug?

I'm sure mine is neg now, just think I would have had a positive result by now, it's the metallic taste in my mouth that's do strange though as I've not had it before ever and it's so strong but I guess it must be liked to the illness I've had

Dulcet no no super drug anywhere near earliest would be the weekend but I think I'll just leave it now, do you think it was a opk by mistake? I didn't check them properly just took them to be what they said as my opk are the cb digi ones so no mistaking??

Well, I only know of opk doing the same colour thing but I am in not an expert on any of it. I have some pg tests sent with my opks too and they look the same (ones is green and one is blue) but you don't need the same colour thing on the pg ones. Just a line.

Maybe if no AF by the weekend you can take a trip to superdrug or somewhere? Just a couple of days of not being sure to get through!

Go and buy yourself a proper one - you're far enough in the cycle to potentially get a positive. Get a two pack and test one today and the other on Saturday morning.

NOTE: A line is not a line. You get an evaporation line (which is actually any line other than a "clear as day" pink or blue line). The manufacturers cannot guarantee that there will not be a line there, so you should put it down on a counter for the allotted period of time, then you should give yourself literally 10 seconds to look at it after that. The line MUST be clear (potentially a big smudged but very clearly, there) and it would be easily distinguishable as the colour of the control line (pink or blue - normally pink)

Thanks girls, I'm thinking now it was an opk sent by mistake, at 6 this morning I didn't read info just did it and saw a line, then saw the pics saying it had to be as dark, I didn't think this before and only had 10 mins before I had to leave for work so can't check now, i don't use the cheep opk do never made the link with colour, I think it was green at the top
I have got the cb tests at home that got sent free but they are the blue ones so going to leave it for now for another few days and put it down to stupidity, wouldn't have a chance to get more today and potentially it is still 5 days before af is due/late

When I was in my last job this time last year, there were two of us TTCing at the same time. We would arrange the pharmacy rush at lunch time and pop to the work loos to do the tests together.

the metallic taste is such a sure sign.

I still don't feel any different apart from the tightening around the belly button and a dull pain. boobs are sore - pre-AF they usually are.
I am trying to convince myself its not my month, so I will be able to cope with the BFN a bit better. a week to go.
