I have everything possible crossed for you ribs, when are you retesting? I can't keep up this minimal bum shaking for long...it's bubbling under the surface, threatening to become a full blown salsa routine.

I know I am being pathetic but I'm starting to worry a smidgeon. My doctor did LH tests and he picked up around CD12 that my body was trying very hard to ovulate. Hormones had increased correctly etc etc.

We DTD with condoms - not ready to go back on the pill or use any other method of contraception. That would just depress the hell out of me.

Then, about 3 days before AF was due, we DTD but didn't use condoms (since we would technically be clear).

Now though, I am 5 days late. Being pregnant would NOT be a good thing. I did a test on Saturday and it was negative but why on EARTH would I be so late if OV was picked up and oh Christ oh Christ oh Christ please don't tell me I ovulated much later and we could have caught it?

I've never wanted AF to arrive so much :(

Oh Kick, how long is your cycle? How many days after CD12 did you DTD without condoms? Is it possible that a condom broke earlier in the cycle? I hope all will be well x

Can you do another test kick? It might put you at ease. can't believe I'm saying this but fx its a bfn for you! The thing about AF i have noticed is the more you think about it the more it tries to dodge arrival - stupid bloody thing. Also i remember you were late before, so maybe its your body trying to adjust?

Yeh red, I've been late for the past 3 months. But the fact that picked up OV hormone increase at CD12. With late AF arrival, I've probably gone up to a 31 day cycle now.

I did a test but it was negative. I worry that while OV was detected, that the eggy dropped later.

That said, my levels were still very high when he did the LH test so perhaps my body was trying really hard but still didn't really drop the egg?

It's just that now it's 5 days. I worry that if OV happened later and we caught it later. It may not show up in a test now but I hope we didn't catch it. Or I hope the eggy didn't drop.

Gaaaaaaah! Stupid body! I am sure it won't be DUMB enough to do this now??? It couldn't do it for nearly a year so I am sure it won't do it now?

We probably DTD around OV time with condoms.

Last month AF arrival was 15 June (was 3 days late - remember being VERY happy since was due when I was still in hospital with a catheter)
LH test was done on the 27 June @ CD12
Unprotected sex from about the 9th July - CD24
And now on CD32

Ok so not that late when you add all the things up. HIgh possibility that it's just a weird anomoly

Probably my body still sorting out - you're right.

My hba1c levels were 12.9% when I had the LH test so still massively high. I probably may have OVed a bit later than normal but you're right, my body is still trying to sort itself out.

I am clearly not the ideal person to listen to my body when I am very sick since I plug through most things without really noticing I am sick...

kick I think your body is just adjusting (hope that is all it is). At least if your body is trying to ovulate it means you are getting healthier.

Thanks for that girls. Im at work and fit to burst but trying not to get too excited. BFP due saturday but we go away on friday so id like to test again before we go. DP said bloody hell its there but faint, font get your hopes up! Hes right but its hard.

I was very, very close to POAS this morning, I have 9 Internet cheapys, I'm only 9DPO so it was a moment of madness, but I can feel myself thinking its gonna be positive & don't know if I should test early so if I see a BFN I won't have built myself up any higher ! Should I test tomorrow at 10DPO or wait till my cousins gone on Sunday ?!?

Tell me what to do, my mind isn't working properly !!

Aussie, well if you can bare to wait then wait. Gives you something to look forward to when the friend is gone. Saying that, I probably wouldn't!! Maybe try waiting until Thursday? Then you are 12DPO at least. Plus I am testing Thursday too! (although I feel a bit less hopeful than you sound)

aussie i'm trying to debate the same thing - its weird how one day i have very strong willpower and refuse to test. the next day i succumb to the insanity and cant take it anymore. I had a sneak peak on ordering some cheapies on amazon :(

hmm...can't decide...asking myself if I want the torture everyday or a BFN everyday. I think im swaying towards the BFN everyday because then im a bit prepared.

Aussie when is af due, I tried a test Monday because i thought I could have been dpo11 but in reality it was still 6 days before af due which when I think that means madness as I'm sure most test would only claim to be able to detect it 4 days before ( especially at 20p )
Depends how you feel, its not the cost with cheepies,I was really dissapointed and even though I know it may have been too early it's made me feel this won't be my month, if you can shrug and say oh too early anyway then there's no harm

I've decided to dust myself off, man up and accept that AF isn?t going to arrive. I'm going to class this as a new cycle and start DT EOD-ish from tomorrow (hubby has an important deadline for work so no chance to DTD before then).

My iphone app puts tomorrow as CD8 (if you go by my average cycle)so just in time!

Yeah winkle!!! And how good to start on day8, have you tried your monitor at all recently? Would be interesting to know what's going on there?
Still think the whole af disappearance Is weird, have you been irregular before or had anything like it?
