A while ago one of your posted this really cool link where you type in your AF due date and OV dates and it comes up with your predicted cycle? Stupidly I forgot to bookmark the link. Anyone remember the site?

redstrawberry · 12/07/2012 10:58

hi newbie according to this one www.thebabycorner.com/tools/ttc/implantation-calculator.php i should feel implantation anytime this weekend.

kitty no symptoms is a good thing :) fx for you this weekend
When it comes to the books I agree with your friend, I think its the most unintelligent prose I've ever read. Not worth spending your money on. Besides I dont think i'd even want to display them on my bookshelf Blush

Yes I hate the term " mummy porn" everyone gives it, think I'd be abit embarrassed to be seen reading it now!
Does anyone have an orgasm just having their nipple tweaked?!? I know I don't and I'm pretty easy to please Blush
Thanks red for the good luck, may hold of testing till next week ( snorts drink threw nose as I try not to laugh) no really!!

Hello ladies,
I've being staying away from mn the last few days after the disappointment/confusion of a fainter line on 12dpo than on 11 as I was trying not to obsess too much who am I kidding?

So I did FRER this morning (15dpo) and got the faintest shadow of a holdituptothelight type of line. I did another IC and that too, had a stronger but still reeeealllly faint line. I haven't had any sign of AF which is frustrating and still giving me that little glimmer of hope. If it's going to come, I wish it would hurry the hell up.

My gut feeling is that it will be a chemical pregnancy. Never had one before but the faint line at 15dpo doesn't bode well IMO. My BFP with DS was strong and unambiguous.

Anyone had a similar ex

I'm quite sure when I ov as I've been charting so it's not like it could be earlier in the pg than I thought. Temps are still high FWIW.

Anyone had a similar experience with faint lines by this point and what the outcome was? Should I go to the doctors given no sign of AF or just sit it out? Any advice will be gratefully received :(

kittykatsforever · 12/07/2012 11:50

Hi lolly sorry your going through this, I've no experience but my gut instinct would be to sit it out, not sure what else the doctors would tell you other then do another test and theirs arnt any different from the ones we use etc not sure at this stage they would advice bloods etc. that's frustrating I can imagine but in a few days whatever the outcome will be will be clear I should think, you will either get a stronger line or af will arrive, try not to think about it if you can impossible I know but at this point worrying or stress won't change anything, hugs x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 12/07/2012 11:53

Hi lolly I had a chem preg last month. It's shit. Mine was a bit different from yours though, was on holiday and only had one hpt. It was positive on 14 dpo but when I tested on 16 dpo it was negative Sad. Af showed up 18 dpo (longest 2 days of my life).

I hope yours ends with a better result.

Newbie2 · 12/07/2012 11:54

lolly I think you're best sitting it out. However, why not pre book doctors for blood test on Monday with nurse. You could always cancel it (I know that's naughty but that's the only way you're going to get an appointment these days)

Newbie2 · 12/07/2012 11:56

Or maybe just sit it out. Sorry I'm not very helpful :(

Chimpette · 12/07/2012 13:06

I've been looking at this website about hypnosis for conception: www.thefertilemind.net/

I can't say anything about the programs as I've not tried one (yet), but I had an email from them today saying that you can get 20% off any program if you enter the code WEB20 at the checkout. I'm thinking that if AF turns up next week I'll download the natural conception one.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way; just stumbled across it whilst Googling hypnobirthing (getting WAY ahead of myself!). If nothing else, I'm thinking it'll just help me to stop stressing about the whole conception thing!

Resipsa - I get sore boobs before AF is due, so I'm trying not to get over excited. Shall we be test buddies on Sunday? :)

AussieMummyTo1 · 12/07/2012 13:10

lolly I 2nd Kittykats & Newbie, just sit it out, what will be, will be & try not to stress. Easy said then done ! Will keep FX for you.

winkle good rhyming ! Grin

yikes fx for BFN being just from to early testing !

red I'm also 4DPO and AF due 25th so on the same 2ww with you !

Wrote a mammoth post yesterday and then lost it as O2 network went down from 1pm to 7am this morning !! I missed reading my MN !

I was glad to see I'm not the only one that gets annoyed at DP being "to tired" to DTD at the crucial time !! I let him off Monday night as tired, we had DTD that morning but when I tried in the morning he was feeling sick to lazy I found myself feeling so angry !! Angry then feeling guilty about being mad that DP won't have sex with me on my demand !! The fact that he wasn't sick enough to ride his new bike to work kept me annoyed all day !! Which he obviously noticed so seduced me that evening Grin

Don't they understand for that ovulation week ya just have to DTD regardless of mood or its another month wait(5 weeks for me)

So it's CD22 for me & 4DPO, we DTD CD13, 16, 18,19 & 20 so if that doesn't work, I'll have to arrange a Twice daily routine for next month Wink Poor DP ha ha

I'm usually a bit of a mad woman during the 2ww but this month I'm oddly calm, feeling really optimistic & positive so hopefully not building myself up for a big let down !! Sad Here's to the next 10days passing by super. Super fast ! I'm sure I'll cave & test next Friday which will be 12DPO that doesn't sound so far away like that !!

Hope to hear of more BFP's before that tho !Smile

AmayaBuzzbee · 12/07/2012 13:32

Lolly I hope you'll get a BFP even if it's a bit slow to show properly

Winkle You are having such a frustrating cycle, but everything is possible still. I know somebody whose BFP only showed on CD51! Normal cycle was around 30-35 days. She did numerous tests, did not feel pregnant but no AF. She went to have Doc's preg test, which came back negative, until the second Doc's test on CD51 was finally positive!. She was about 5 weeks pg then. That very late BFP is now a beautiful little girl of 10 months Smile

This is the first cycle I have told DH about "the project" (did not call it that though!). The plan is to DTD eod till positive OPK, and then 3 days in a row -or more if we are still up for it. He seems to be fully on board Grin.

I got accepted to the clear blue trial but their package won't arrive till my next cycle. By sod's law I should get pg this cycle so I won't get to take part! Lets see what happens....

It's CD9 here and we have started DTD eod, I am excited about this cycle -the first one with a proper plan (bought some epo too as everybody else seems to be taking it! Grin )

resipsa · 12/07/2012 13:33

Chimp yay, let's be test buddies! I should say that I'm not an early riser (subject to DD but she's a sleeper too) so bet you beat me to it!

Chimpette · 12/07/2012 13:38

Resipsa - I'll be up early. We have a dog who doesn't understand the concept of lie-ins!

resipsa · 12/07/2012 13:39

PS This CB trial - I've sent back the consent form and noticed I had a missed call but no message yesterday. Did anyone else get contacted by phone after sending back the form?

PPS I hope it isn't just a (pretty effective given the number of CB metions here!) marketing campaign dressed up as a trial...is that too cynical?

redstrawberry · 12/07/2012 14:04

yay aussie another test buddy :)

The 2ww toilet trips are also so full of anticipation. I am always checking my knickers for some sign or the other but nothing zilch. I had a walk by the pond at lunch time and musing in my head thinking how much hope and expectations we build up during this 2 week period - gosh im actually dreading POAS incase its a bfn.

I think I prepped DH well enough last month that if it doesn't work in June, I will be needing timely donations from his factory every other day. He just found it so funny, but i was dead serious!

I do find him very willing though, i'm normally the tired one - i came up on his online browser page and he had googled best positions to have sex in to get pregnant and 'how does ovulation work' Grin felt a bit relieved that he wants this as much as I do!

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 12/07/2012 14:19

Amay - you do know that you should only take EPO up to ovulation point right?

resipsa - of coarse this cb trial is a marketing campaign... exactly why I'm staying away from it

Red - I'm super jeolous of your dH right now! How cute that he's been googling! I wonder If men would go on MansNet if it existed Grin

kittykatsforever · 12/07/2012 14:19

Love amaya's "project" my heart would stop if dh ever found these links!!! Lol
Red I too am doing the " knicker check" how do you find cm after ov or have I just overstepped that line asking?!?
Aussie I'm sure every day over ov is enough poor dh!!! Lol infact there are some studies that show eod can be better for producing top class swimmers Wink I would have been pissed at the too sick though, my hubbie is the same but never too sick for Xbox, footsie etc!
Resipia yes I got a call from cb after they received my convent form to ask a few more questions and tell me they were sending the supplies etc, I don't think it's a marketing thing as it us banging on about it after seeing their website?! Either way I use there products anyway

kittykatsforever · 12/07/2012 14:23

I'll post if I get the stuff and what it is later but even if you don't get of in 3 months they give you another 3 months supply, my feeling was that they may be looking to develop something new as they are more interested in the urine when your pg up to 12wk scan even if mc and contacting you after dc is born! I think they allready have stats for opk and fertility monitor and I would hazard a guess that they are a number 1 product anyway?!? Just my thoughts though

KickTheGuru · 12/07/2012 14:25

Ah red that's so sweet of him :)

Just a quick lurk for me

KickTheGuru · 12/07/2012 14:29

lolly

A positive test is described as one where the line is 100% completely evident without squinting or holding up to the light. It's also the same colour line as the control line and that is 100% evident that its' a line.

The manufacturers say that any line is almost guaranteed (hence evap lines).

The old adage of "a line is a line" is actually not true. It's only when it's clearly a pink or blue line (whether smudged or not) but clearly visible.

If you need to squint or stare or hold it up to the light, then you should wait a bit as that's not a reliable result :)

redstrawberry · 12/07/2012 14:29

Kick good to know you are lurking...missed you :)

kitty this is what the threads for right...cm is completely gone - have some white sticky stuff but nothing like EWCM. I dont think I even saw EWCM just some watery CM.

A lot of people are on the CB trial, must see what the fuss is all about.

OP posts:
AmayaBuzzbee · 12/07/2012 14:32

resipsa Yes, received another call from them after sending back the form. They had a few more questions about demographics - B-day, ethnicity, occupation, have I got previous children, do I smoke, cycle length (again), asking if I know that I ov etc., That took about 5min, and my tests should now be on their way.

Newbie Yep, have done my research on epo on this thread Grin

kitty DH knows that I read Mumsnet, but has no idea (to my knowledge!) that I am an addict on this thread!

RIBS · 12/07/2012 14:33

newbie yeah only take the epo until ovulation.

lolly hoping its going to stick for you. Its the waiting part that the hardest. A couple of days is nothing, except when you're TTC!!

Can someone give me a virtual slap please! Im really busy at work, yet im on here and googling symproms at 9dpo. I swore I wasnt going to get like this again this month. Ive had a headache since possible implantation flutter please dont be wind, but my boobs arent sore still. Im in full on limbo and my brains going to explode. My LP is 18 days so ive got ages to go yet.

Would I get a positive result (if i was pg) at 14 dpo if lp is 18 days???

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 12/07/2012 14:33

I've not had a call re the clearblue trial Envy. Have a huge fridge too with loads of room for urine.

Not really sure what they think they are going to do with pregnant women's urine. I think the hcg degrades over time so week old urine probably won't be too useful.

Is probably for the best knowing my dh he would probably mistake it for sample pots of beer and try and drink it.
