Hoping the luck continues here.....

Stay positive lolly it is very early days, I think you do right to leave it a few days. I drove myself insane comparing darkness of lines for the few weeks that I was PG. it was mentally exhausting, I would never do that again.

Oh no lolly it doesn't sound good but is there any other reason for the faint line? Different test? For some reason you had a v full bladder this morning?

cherry you sound as mental as me. Do you mind if I ask you what your implantation symptoms were (trying to compare).

Cherry, Chimp, Whenshe - we're not mad but we do have magical powers. Have you noticed that if you think hard enough about, for example, whether or not your nips are tingling, after about 5 mins or so, they begin to tingle? Magic!

Chimpette - I'm normally really rational as well! I seem to have turned into some crazy eyed wild haired symptom spotting machine!

Whenshewasbad I had very mild achey heaviness in my stomach followed by a day of light brownish cm, but don't take my word for it because 1) I haven't testing pregnant yet, and 2) it occurred only 4DPO and from what i've heard that's too early? I'm clinging to it though!
If I test BPN tomorrow then I guess it was just a freaky part of my cycle.

AF due today and no signs other than a dragging feeling very low and an ache behind my right hip. (Once again, reading too much into twinges)
Really trying not to get my hopes up! Is it bad that i'm putting off testing until tomorrow purely because I don't want my hopes to be slashed just quite yet?! I'm too happy day dreaming about what could be.

Oh cherry I think that sounds promising, lots of other have described a dragging feeling, I think it's fine to wait for it's what your surposed to do! atleast there will be no is it isnt it, good luck!

My period generally comes on day 36 to 40. Am now on day 40. Am too scared to take a test in case it says no, somehow think i'm tempting fate.
I've had a miscarriage earlier this year and then worry that if i am pregnant it will happen again.
This would be (hopefully) mine and DP's first child and the biological clock is ticking.
Please tell me to get a grip (and go to the chemist).

qazxc bless you. I think a trip to the chemists might be in order though. You could get a test and only use it with first morning urine tomorrow.

I am also half desperate to test and half really reluctant (I am only on 10 DPO though). You have reminded me that even if you get a BFP you just trade the "oh I hope I am pregnant" feelings for "oh I hope the embryo / fetus is ok."

In a moment of weakness I caved :'( BFN with AF due today. Guess I'm out this month! Even if it's not over until she shows up, I should still be testing positive by now! :( Feel really stupid thinking my symptoms where real! Obviously just trick of the mind!! still no AF here and I don't think i'm pregnant as I've done two tests. So just waiting for her to show up now! CD31 and my cycles can be 27-35 days so it's just a waiting game now!

It's amazing to read what I'm going through too! I really do think of symptoms sometimes then seem to get them out of nowhere! So reassuring, I think my DP is getting a bit tired of me and my crazy signs! I've been on the PCOS thread for a few weeks and hoping for a BFP this week. Last two cycles were a month apart which is the first time since I came off the pill last May. Pretty bad perceived 'ovulation pains' two weeks ago but no known ewcm. Fingers crossed like everyone else. Funny how symptoms have gone as concentrating on something else..!
Congratulations to all the mums to be! Can't wait to see what happens for the rest of us :)

Ooh I'm glad you,re all as superstitious as me! Today I was walking to work and the river is really high from the rain and There is all manner of debris floating in it. As I crossed the footbridge something colourful caught my eye and there was a cut out of a Hindu god floating under the bridge - I like to think it was a fertility god

misspma i agree with wishful, mine AF came back within a couple of months so perhaps get another opnion in another month. A year seems a bit extreme.

Well forced seduced DP last night even tho he wasnt quite in the mood after doing a 10k charity run & an afternoon at the pub, but as i has a positive OV test i had my way !, not in the best position as DP was exhausted (sorry tmi) winkled after & then jumped his bones before he went to work this morning, i have a feeling this morning was the one, it just felt lucky ! :o

So now i commence the countdown of the horrible 2ww, i plan to to keep keep busy, not think about it & try being positive, "if i think im pregnant, ill be pregnant"

I'm glad I'm not the only 1 getting all mental and superstitious. When unknowingly pg with dd I saw flocks of magpies everywhere. About the time last pg failed I kept seeing 1 magpie. 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy etc.
Towards end of 2 ww I c 1 bloody magpie. I'm literally wandering round with my eyes closed so I don't c any!

6dpo. Immensely sore boobs, woke up with shitty head and, shhhhh, think I felt implantation flutter last nite, sacred 2 even type it, let alone say it. Had aching at left side near ovary sat and sun, then the flutter last nite. Or it could b wind!
Trying desperately not 2 get 2 excited.

Bugger, period has just started. .

I hope this isn't the end of the good luck. Do you remember June, it all went really well at first and then AF took hold. Not sure what's happening with me, the implantation aches have decreased and have almost gone (if that's what it was). Don't feel remotely pregnant at the moment feeling really pissed off I'm just waiting to AF to come.

I need some more bfps to cheer me up. Someone tell me to stop being miserable.

Its really tough to climb out of the frustration whenshe. Surely it just goes to show how much you want this and hopefully it'll pay off soon. Someone once told me when it gets like this it can sometimes help to think of what you'll miss about your life if you did have a baby. I've wanted this for over 10 years, so very tricky at the moment! Being pissed off is better than pretending you're ok. That's what's so good about these threads. Say what you like and there's always someone there to back you up. Good luck :)

It is not the end of luck, there's no reason for you to think you are not of, most people do not have symptoms for quite a few weeks, I never have any and what you've had so far sounds positive, you don't get cramps perminantly do you, they always come and go in pregnancy at different times, now you are to be positive again ok!!! [ stern face]
Aussie ow a testing buddie! You know in gona break early though aswell especially as ov days seems earlier then normal, loving the seducing tale, dam right if its ov day!!

Hello everyone, this is my very first post after just joining mumsnet. I'm hoping to concieve as soon as possible, we've been putting TTC off for ages as we've been trying to buy a house but we've finally exchanged now and will be moving in in less than two weeks. Already have a lovely daughter who's nearly two but had a really stressful time during my first pregnancy (non-pregnancy related issues) so am hoping to be able to concentrate on and enjoy any further pregnancies a lot more. I know it doesn't necessary go like that but one can always hope!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone here!

I'd really hate to think that it was fabricated as it seems a really shitty thing to do but it does look odd, I did think it was abit odd you'd still be Ttc if all that had happened and you had nothing plus signing up for the cb trial etc but I don't like thinking the worst of people?!

Wow! I know what u mean @kitty. When I first saw it I did wonder, but like u I don't like 2 think the worst of people. But I work in insurance and the sceptic in me was waving a couple of flags. I can't c that any1 wouldn't have no friends or family 2 help. My family don't have very much but even if I was on another continent I'd have help.
