iamstitch · 08/07/2012 20:07

Thanks! Grin I've left the test outside the youngest ones bedroom door (he's doing his bedtime tonight!)

I feel a bit of a fake really, we've dithered about trying for another for a while and decided last month to go for it. I'm so regular you can set a watch by me Blush so we just dtd from about 4 days before ov and continued for a week solid. I catch really easily, it's the carrying I'm rubbish at Sad

kittykatsforever · 08/07/2012 20:15

Congrats Lolly and Iamstich!!!! This is turning into one fruitful thread, fx for everyone else still to come!!
Welcome Aussie, lol at eod, you must have though in not sure I'll ever keep up with all that shagging lol, I have stuck to the rules and have managed 3 times a week since. Cd10, bar one day eod and still going!
Resipia and wishful, I'd have been having my 20wk scan < sighs>
But wishful the dress sounds amazing, wish we could see you but you know well be cheering you on and really hoping for a honeymoon baby for you x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 08/07/2012 20:30

iamstitch another BFP. Well done you (and your dh).

Hello to aussie and miss best of luck to you both.

wishful the dress sounds stunning, enjoy the your day

resipsa did you say you were worried because you had no symptoms at 7 DPO? It's probably just too early for symptoms ( not that it's ever stopped me symptom spotting Grin)

KittyBump · 08/07/2012 20:41

Hi All, Can I join too please? I have been lurking as I know you already have a Kitty but I never namechange so I could be Bumpy!
I'm also in the 'AF just returned after BF boat' - DD is 18 months and i have been very impatiently waiting to ttc#2. First AF was 9th June, my cycles whilst ttc DD were very long iirc I ov on CD22 when we conceived with her.
So I have been doing opk, but not very religiously, and only just got a +ve today (CD30!) i did get carried away and thought i may be pg already but POAS earlier and BNP
So I'd like to come along for the ride please, congratulations to all who are already pg! and to wishful I was Grin reading about your dress!

MissPMA · 08/07/2012 20:52

Congrats stitch, I'll keep my fx crossed for you. Hmmmm I think I should go to see another dr, mine was quite patronising really and made me feel a bit silly, dp been trying to reassure me but difficult not to worry, if he knew how much time I spend browsing mums net he'd think I was mad! taking Angus castus as heard that might help....

kittykatsforever · 08/07/2012 20:53

Welcome bumpy! You know we too will be muddled at some point! If you have just had the + opk then you must be In The 2ww aswell, think your cycle probably needs a little while to settle and shorten after bf but if you don't get bfp first cycle you could try epo as that seems to have had a real difference on cycle for alot of us?

winkle2 · 08/07/2012 21:04

Congrats stitch! Chuffed for ya :)

Welcome bumpy! Hope you'll be bumpy in more than name very soon!

Wishful the dress sounds lovely! I hope you have a honeymoon baby too :)

Wow this is a lucky lucky thread! I need some luck to rub off on me!

Mersea · 08/07/2012 21:06

Yet another BFP for this thread congratulations iamstitch How many is that now I am losing count?

Big hello to all the new ladies joining us here.

The wedding dress sounds amazing. I don't think me and dp will ever get down the aisle, we have been together for nearly 13 years now Grin

lollypopsicle · 08/07/2012 21:11

Thanks peeps. I shall report the outcome of my stick peeing tomorrow. It will be an early one as I have to go off to work too.

Congrats iamstitch :) and welcome newbies. Plenty more BFPs to come me thinks.

Wishful, your dress sounds lovely. I love a good wedding. I always look at other people's wedding photos on fb, even when I don't know the bride or groom! Grin What colours are you going for?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 08/07/2012 21:17

bumpy hello

I know what you mean about waiting and waiting for af to return after bf. I got impatient and started using opks after I finished bf. I was hoping to catch the first egg, didn't get it (would have been bloody lucky to have) and my luteal phase was only 11 days long.

Best of luck for your 2 ww. Hope you catch the first egg.

resipsa · 08/07/2012 21:22

iamstitch - congrats! God, if we could bottle this luck and sell it, we'd be trillionaires!!!

resipsa · 08/07/2012 21:34

Aah, wishful, you made me cry (with help from some Wine. You'll have an amazing day, I'm sure and treasure that walk with your Dad. I still do, 12 years after the wedding and 4 years since my Dad died. He'll be so proud and remember to him and your DF, you've always and always will be beautiful.

resipsa · 08/07/2012 21:35

God, time to stop the Wine!

YikesHereWeGo · 08/07/2012 21:46

Brilliant news iams - can't wait to year your DP's reaction when he sees the stick.
And lolly, that sounds very promising!
cherry and pooley - tuesday it is then! I promise I won't crack if you don't! Wink
wishful - your dress sounds lovely and it's fab to hear how much you're looking forward to the day. You've got a whole fan base here waiting to hear all about it!
Welcome to all the new ladies, baby dust to all of you :)

likesoxinbed · 08/07/2012 22:47

Think I may be out for this month - looks like AF may be on her way... over a week early too?? Hey ho.
I wonder if perhaps it just isn't meant to be and we have left it a bit late.

CherryBakewellPie · 08/07/2012 23:07

likesox what makes you think it's on its way?

Woww Tuesday feels like ages away! Two more sleeps Yikes and Pooley

Don't mean to alarm anyone, but I have diagnosed myself as schizophrenic! It cannot be possible for a sane person to be thinking:

"I'm definitely pregnant, I can feel it with every fibre of my being. I have had implantation bleeding, aching in my right ovary (not even sure if that's a legitimate sign!Hmm) and I just know it's going to be a BFP."

to...within an hour, thinking:

"Oh this is useless. I'm not going to waste my time buying another test, there is no way I am pregnant, just another WTF cycle."

See! I've finally lost it. Pretty much a certified fruit cake. Hope everyone else isn't torturing themselves like I have been all day!
Massive distractions are needed tomorrow if i'm ever going to survive :)

winkle2 · 08/07/2012 23:09

CherryBakewellPie · 08/07/2012 23:59

Are you planning to test again winkle? :)

wishfulthinking1 · 09/07/2012 06:28

Morning all- cant stop right now- thanks for all your lovely comments about my dress! Fx for all those testing today (are you retesting today winkle?)

Catch up properly later on xxx

lollypopsicle · 09/07/2012 06:54

Well the line is even fainter today with fmu so I'm not holding my hopes up. I'll wait a few days and see what happens. If no AF by Thursday then I'll test again. I knew a shouldnt have tested so early!

Dexidoo · 09/07/2012 07:10

That's a lot of BFP's, amazing!!

Your dress sounds lovely wishful enjoy every minute of these last minute preps and the day itself, it all goes too quickly, sigh. Where are you off to on honeymoon? Or did I miss that.

Chimpette · 09/07/2012 07:11

Cherry, I've also been torturing myself! One minute I'm convinced I'm pregnant (on the strength of some cramping pains and a lot of wishful thinking) and the next I'm telling myself off for being completely ridiculous.

I seem to have completely taken leave of my senses as well. I'm normally very rational and scientifically minded, but yesterday I was baking cakes and cracked four double-yolk eggs in a row. Some folklore says that this is a sign or pregnancy and maybe twins, so I pounced on that! I've also been wandering around with a pocket full of 'fertility crystals,' which is really unlike me. I just so badly want a baby!

Winkle, please could I be added to the list? I'll be testing around 20th July (if I can resist the temptation to test earlier!).
