Oh geek Sad I'm so sorry to hear that, you poor poor thing!!! Was it def a line? Or was it an evap line (clutching a straws for you) be good to yourself honey, at least you know sperm is meeting egg!! Brooking for you!!!

No news this end, temps back to where they should be at this point in my cycle, the next couple of days if I'm def not diffed They'll start dropping....

Might try and see the queen today, something to do on my lunch break!!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 07:54

Oh Geek I'm so sorry. It's so tough. Be kind to yourself though. Hope mrgeek is looking after you. You're going to get your baby, oh yes indeedy.

Sparks rubbing noses with royalty!

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 08:28

oh geek you should never feel you can't come on here! I'm so sorry to hear that you got your period, but isn't it a good thing that you had a CP, in a way? As in, better than not having one? it shows egg and sperm are meeting. You have another couple of months before you do ICSI, so you can still get a natural BFP! (Are you sure it's AF, and as we know you can have some bleeding anyway...)

so we woke up this morning to find that our car's back windscreen has been smashed. Very odd as we live in a quiet village, and the sat nav wasn't taken or anything. Is it possible for windscreens to just break?? Anyway the insurance company will change it for £75 (total cost over £500!) and it won't affect no claims bonus, so it could be worse, I suppose. Lucky I am working from home today so can be around when they come to change it!

SweetieDoesIt · 12/07/2012 08:40

Aw geek sorry to here about the cp, but as the others say at least you know things are meeting up as they should

face I wouldnt have minded been a preggers bride either. If it important to you to have a DC then go for it and work the wedding around it. The wedding is only 1 day

Shocking discovery in temp gate this morning. After thermometer has beeped it kept going up, so it obviously hadnt reached the final temp. From now on an gunna leave it 5 mins and ignore beeps but am HmmConfused

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 08:44

what a crap and useless thermometer sweetie

CBFM does not want a stick today, cd6 month 2. I am fascinating, yes yes. As i am going to a festival this weekend which will be cd8 and 9, and not likely to ov until cd15-18, and not allowed to swi until after HSG on cd13 anyway, I was not going to take it with me this weekend. Will this confuse it?

SecretSparkle · 12/07/2012 09:02

Keep You may confuse your CBFM slightly BUT given that you can't dtd until after you HSG then surely this month it doesn't really matter what the monitor says? just thinkin about how I can save you some pennys!!!

And as for your car window? if nothing was taken, I would think that a car has driven passed and kicked up a stone, which has hit your windscreen!! Especially if maybe there was a crack in it already? (I saw a man driving on the motorway with a massive crack right across his windscreen at eye level, mental!!)

Sweetie tempgate really is too much drama for me. I think you'll be ok if you just stick to a consistent method every day. I take mine straight after the beep. Although I took my temp twice this morning, because I spoke to DH during the first lot, stupid stupid!! Anyway my temp was 97.45 originally and then when I took it again it had already jumped to 97.78, how can a temp rise so much?

Maybe I think seeing the Queen makes me almost royal myself!! I've just gotta decide whether I can bothered to leave my nice cosy office!!

GenericDietCola · 12/07/2012 09:27

Geek, so sorry to hear your news, but please don't feel you can't come on the thread. We are always here and brooking for each other. Hope you get some better luck this month.

cartoonface · 12/07/2012 09:43

keep thats awful and strange nothing was taken.
really sorry geek be as mememe as you want.
how can u tell the diff between a real faint line and a evap line?
10months seems a life time in ttc doesnt it so i dont think i could wait until after the wedding! and so hard to gage how long it mite take. the first time took 5/6 months but we werent trying particularily but not trying not to be pregnant iyswim so some of those months we couldve completely miossed the window. this time took 2months but fertility is higher after mc and i was trying to make sure we did it at the correct times. but i guess they are not good indications as falling preg quick one time doesnt mean i will next time does it?
i guess it may also take months for whatever tests and stuff the clinic will do so that will delay any ttc.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 11:16

Sparks that deffo makes you royal. In fact, it makes me royal, as I know you, and you know the Queen.

Swwetie all this temp gate drama! Maybe get a new thermometer? Mine jumped up again this morning, so I definitely think the egg has landed. So after two accus, ov has moved forward by 3 days! Bazinga.

Keep I also think it must have been another car kicking something up. Hope they come and fix it soon for you.

Face you are right, every month seems like a lifetime sometimes.

SecretSparkle · 12/07/2012 11:58

Quick message from teamsecret drama over here, crazy mental drama but I'll fill you in later when I get home xxx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 12:14

Whats up Soarks? Hope everything is ok?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 12:30

Who is Soarks?

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 12:58

Whaaaat?? You can't do that, sparks

Car fixed, the autoglass man said it wad most likely my neighbour who mowed his lawn at the front last night, kicked up one if the pebbles on shared drive. Don't think I can really say anything though, can I, as no proof?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 13:06

That's cleared that one up then Keep. You probably can't say anything. Bloody annoying though.

You lot are a confident bunch of ladies. I have a medical communications 'networking' event tomorrow. I have no idea how to network Help please.

cartoonface · 12/07/2012 13:12

never networked in my life! do u not just make sure u get introduced to a lot of people and hand out ur card?
glad its fixed keep
sparks wots happened?

Geeklette · 12/07/2012 13:16

Thank you ladies, you are all so lovely

sparks I demand to know what this drama is, I'm all emotional and everything so if I have to stamp my foot it won't be pretty! I'm rather convinced it's not an evap line, even though I tried to tell myself initially it was, because I got the same result on an IC, an FRER, a Superdrug and a Clear Blue. Got the same result, but fainter, the next day (the day of AF). Loving that you are next in line for the throne! I missed my chance to practice my curtsey as I managed to get yesterday as a working from home day.

keep that is really weird - I know it sounds daft, but it couldn't have been a bird, or even some random falling object could it? I just can't understand why someone would break a windscreen only to not steal the desirables.

sweetie I recently picked up a fab new thermometer from Superdrug. £14.99, but it genuinely takes your temp accurately in 10-20 seconds. I've tested it extensively against my old (still functional but takes forever) thermometer and it's spot on. I think it's by Braun. Could you not swap the battery from your new dodgy thermometer into your old luffly one?

keep I think the CBFM was born confused, and there is nothing you can do to un-confuse it! It'll do no harm to not turn it on/use it over the weekend.

thank you gen :) I just hate to always sound like I am whingeing, and it was a pretty full-on mini meltdown so probably best that it is not recorded in writing!

cartoon I am actively planning on being a preggers bride, I want a whacking great bump in my photos. I've been engaged for 9 years now, we've always said we would get married when we had enough saved up for a fab honey moon but since we spent every penny we own on the house that just isn't going to happen. Next best thing is to waddle down the aisle almost nine months gone Grin I'd also say to not wait, as you don't know how long it will take.

maybe thank you, you are right of course, it's just so easy to lose perspective when the hag arrives.

Feeling a bit better now that the pain and bleeding is subsiding a little, I'm actually managing to do some work in the office today. Told MrGeek at lunchtime that it was a CP, he has been fab. He has lots of work stress going on at the moment, but as always he's really supportive and has stopped threatening to hand his notice in phew He's off to Cardiff again this afternoon, back late evening tomorrow so it will be supernoodles for one tonight, whilst I plan MrGeek's homecoming SFF (got to refresh his boys, he needs to have abstained for just 2-3 days before his date with Monday's jar!). keep your comment about the bj really did make me laugh out loud, I just hope I won't follow in your footsteps if AF is still with me on Friday!

SecretSparkle · 12/07/2012 13:19

Didn't get to see the queen, was slumped up against a tree instead, passed out while waiting for her!! Just spent last couple of hours in A&E having blood pressure taken and sugar levels!!! A&E doc wanted to take urine sample to do preg test, told him to not be so daft because I was only 5/7DPO (he did one anyway, which was BFN obviously) so now I'm on my way home with raging head ache under orders to rest and drink plenty of fluids!!

Dramatic thing was they couldn't get an ambulance to me (didn't need one to be fair) so the VIP paramedic and 2 secret service guys had to escort me round to A&E Blush more fuss than the queen!!!

cartoonface · 12/07/2012 13:23

geek dont feel bad for winging im queen of wingers and at the moment find it really hard not to just focus on my own crap and remeber other peole are having a hard time too so winge away

cartoonface · 12/07/2012 13:25

ha ha sparks im sorry dont know im finding that whole thing funny. id have been gutted always wanted to go in a ambulance!

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 13:25

maybe I Hate networking, and I hate that its necessary too. I tend to hide in the loo or on blackberry during conferences so am no help to you...

geek that's lots of tests!

Mrk has a date with a pot tomorrow too geek. I can't help out this time though as have to leave early for work

sparks poor you! What's the reason? Preg, but too early for a test Grin

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 13:26

face I went in one for work once, got vvv car sick! Was embarrassing...

Geeklette · 12/07/2012 13:35

maybe My idea of networking is talking to people on the internet Blush sorry, no earthly help to you whatsoever!

sparks ooh err missus! Diffed for deffo! Hope it's just the weather and the excitement of not quite seeing the queen that got to you rather than anything more serious. How exciting that you got the queen's own royal paramedic looking after you!

cartoon thank you :)

keep I know... I just didn't believe that I was getting lines. It's more tests than you know, because I ended up doing 'control' tests yesterday, with plain water, to make sure they weren't evap lines!

Is anybody else here taking B50 complex tablets? I started taking them yesterday in the hope of prolonging my LP which now appears to be down to 10 days but now I have neon yellow wee!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 13:36

Oh Sparks loveloy, you poor thing. I would say was it the heat, but we all know that would not be the case. You are quite clearly diffed, it's just too early for the HCG. I do hope you are having tomorrow off too to rest.

I am rehearsing my networking. How about 'hello, my names Maybe. I would like a job in your company thank you please. I'll teach you how to smack a rat.'

Geek that is most definitely a line you saw, the pink dye tests don't lie. You poor thing. Bravo MrGeek for being a star though. Have you got a nice weekend planned? I seem to remember something about a beer festival. Funny, as there is one on here too this weekend!

Geeklette · 12/07/2012 13:36

Forgot to mention - the only time I've ever been in an ambulance Sonic the Hedgehog was running down the road after it, catching yellow coins falling from the lamp posts. I was on gas & air at the time though...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 13:37

Geek I have also heard that they cause bright yellow wee. Haven't taken them myself though. I don't think it has shortened your LP though, with one of my chemicals I have a fant line then AF came early.
