keep im even suprising myself at how ok i seem to be i think i was more prepared this time. and now i know we are seeing someone it feels good to know it'll all get sorted. probably right about the month off and then depending on what the clinic says decide when to begin trying again as i have to consider our wedding in may next yr.
i have TMI question, does anyone get bleeding at times after sex.
we did it last week and i had some but may have been the tail end after d&c even though it had seemed to have stopped. however this does happen sometimes and has for yrs. does anyone else get this? am sure is not an sti have been tested several times although was told something about a cyst on my cervix. wonder if i should mention this at my appointmnet? x

keepitgoing · 11/07/2012 12:03

that's good face
i have had bleeding in the past, and got a smear test. are you up to date with yours? It's more likely something to do with the m/c, I would think (though know nothing really) but i would mention it to your GP and definitely at your gynae appointment.

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 12:17

i think my last one was a couple of yrs ago the doc said its not due yet. ive had two already and it must be fairly soon the next one but i cant remeber how many years it is? i had my first smear early b ecause i was worried i wonder if i should push this a bit more

SecretSparkle · 11/07/2012 12:33

aren't smears every 3 years? face I really do think you should be pushing for every test known to man

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 12:37

totes wot i was thinking sparks my doc seemed unsure about doing another smear when its not due but i can usually talk him round thats wot i like about him he does wot i ask and even listens when i say ive diagnosed myself from dr goggle haha

Imps7 · 11/07/2012 13:55

NEWSFLASH

I have two huge spots on my face made bigger by a failed attempt to squeeze them - I never get spots so this confirms the Blindingly Obvious. Hurrah for being with child!

Cold feet? What cold feet?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/07/2012 14:03

Hold the front page Imps

I too have symptoms at a possible 1DPO. Sore boobs already, sore throat, womble ache and my mouth bled really badly when I brushed my teeth this morning. This never happens. Looks like we are going to be preggo pals Imps

Face I would definitely push to get it checked. Though it is most likely to be perfectly fine.

Hope you are having fun hollibobs Olives

Bartlet come back, don't go to netmums. Nooooooooooooo

JenFraggle · 11/07/2012 14:07

2 spots? Sounds like twins to me

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 14:30

wish there was a like button on her jen hehe

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 15:47

just working out dates to see how preg i mite or not be at my wedding depending when i get preg again urgh!!!!! its hard cos i dont know how long it mite take. but i also dont want to put it off for too long unless the doc says so. so im ruling this cycle out obvs but next one would give me a due date 3 days after wedding date not good. but also im taking a guess that my period will be 4wks after d&c like last time and go back to a 30 day cycle

SecretSparkle · 11/07/2012 16:02

whooooaaaa don't count me out just yet, I'm 4dpo or 6dpo and am terribly bloated (nothing to do with the gallons of fizzy Ive been drinking lately)

How about it girls? Another Tripe Whammy?! Then I shall have to name my child Baby Maybe Imps Secret :o

Face this might be one of those things that you have to play by ear, like you say this cycle is out, but you dont know when your going to return to normal. Am I right in thinking that giving birth on your wedding day could just be the entertainment? I mean saves on booking a DJ :o

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 16:09

haha. think it mite frighten some of the children and probably male guests! i bet its happened to someone though!
it annoys me how it all worked out really well date wise i was going to give birth in jan so had like four months to get back in shape. so pleased i had everything i wanted (saw the cutest little flower girl dresses!) now some bastard has taken it all away and its back to mentaling about trying do do both things

SweetieDoesIt · 11/07/2012 16:52

Scarlett so pleased you got answers to your questions, now you can mull things over properly in a considered manner and make the right decision for you guys. Good luck

Little big yeah for LittleBean and the scan, such good news for you and DH

keep things are moving at break neck speed for you too, still brooking for the ironic premove BFP. Hopefully you will get a clear picture of things before you overseas? All very exciting

Imps big stonking spots you say? Diffed for sure, there is never a truer sign - FACT

Solars sorry your clinic isn't playing fair, i thought the guidelines stated you have to start your IVF cycle before your 40th birthday. Hope your PCT reconsiders when they get your letter, fx for you my dear

face you are being so brave and practical, I really take my hat off to you

Well I have got a new thermometer and since then my temps have been all over the place, my old one didn't beep so I used to wait a full 5 mins before reading it, but my temps were very stable. The new one beeps when done, and the results are really irractic and all over the place. I am tempted to go back to ignoring the beep and just reading the result after 5 mins, scientists brookers what do you think?

SecretSparkle · 11/07/2012 20:03

sweetie I haven't got a clue re temps, could you use both at the same time and see the difference Hmm

My cat won't leave me alone tonight, he must be doing that thing where they become more affectionate around diffed women!!!

keepitgoing · 11/07/2012 20:39

face for what its worth I'd do the mc tests, then start ttc straight away. Don't worry about the dress etc...

sweetie don't know about the temps, I like sparks idea of two charts for a month, true science! The Dr will write to us with all the test results but we won't get the letter till after we've left the UK, via my parents... But I'm hoping to get an idea from while I'm in the hsg and u/s. Did other people see anything?

imps maybe sparks glad to hear of all the pg symptoms.

Here's one to make you laugh, or maybe tmi... Well its been so long since poor dh had a bj, I gagged, choked, and laughed at the crucial moment last night... Swimmers went everywhere!!

Poor thing, our Dr yesterday didn't have a good bedside manner, she called his sa 'not very good', no reassurance even though in reality I think its not too bad.

SweetieDoesIt · 11/07/2012 20:47

keep my hsg it was obvious all ok as dye wizzed out of both tubes but u/s they said all ok but the dr said this showed lack of eggs.

Sparks battery died on old thermometer Sad that is why I needed a new one. I could try replacing battery I suppose, am sure it is just a watch battery.

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 21:14

Haha keep what a waste ;). I guess it mite be months before the clinic say we can start trying as there's no point before they've done their investigations. I'm probably trying to plan this pregnancy around the wedding when I don't need to.
How would all of you feel about being a preg bride?

keepitgoing · 11/07/2012 21:17

face I'd love to be a pregnant bride. Think it'd be amazing!

cartoonface · 11/07/2012 21:20

Really?

keepitgoing · 11/07/2012 21:25

Yes!! You'd be so gorgeous. So look, you either wait 10 months, or you don't worry. 10 months is a long time. So I'd go for it! Who knows how long these things will take anyway.

keepitgoing · 11/07/2012 21:29

geek hope you are ok, not seen you for a bit x

SecretSparkle · 11/07/2012 21:39

face I didn't want to be a pregnant bride, BUT the more I think about it the more I think how lovely it would have been! I wouldn't hold off TTC, when we were planning our we had a 'scare' and when I sat down with hubby we realised it didn't matter, we'd have just modified the wedding and dealt with it!!

Yes geek where are you?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/07/2012 22:17

Also popping in to see where Geek is, was thinking about you today.

Face I wouldn't worry about being a pregnant bride. We weren't TTC when we got married, but it wouldn't have mattered or made the day less special.

Keep you make me chuckle. I always feel quite chi puffed with myself when MrMaybe gets a blow job.

Sweetie how are you lovley? Sorry about the temps. Is there anything else that could be affecting them?

Geeklette · 12/07/2012 07:11

Thanks for asking after me ladies, I've been a bit rough the last couple of days and with all the fabulous news on the fred (well done on the amazing scan results, the positive-action-taking and the winning-over-of-consultants, and also the future house/country moves, parties and scan bookings) I didn't want to bring things down with a mememe post.

I got a STP (skinny thin positive) two days ago, then AF arrived yesterday (three days early) so I'm out. Bit of an emotional wreck at the the idea of a definite CP, after last month's suspected one, esp in light of the SA results. Got CD3 bloods booked for Friday morning, and MrGeek is going to do another JIAJ on Monday at the Priory in B'ham. ICSI here we come.
