sparks since most of us would agree u are preggers i think that makes u a BEPP (brooker endorsed pregnant person)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/07/2012 14:58

FrootZ! Long time no see! How are you? Ov symptoms. Lots of EWCM. The raging horn. Crampy womble type pains, and sometimes feel a bit sick. I have found that temping makes me less crazy!

Well said Face Grin

SecretSparkle · 12/07/2012 17:02

frootz where have you been? Love how you've created a new category for me!! Brooking that you're right of course!!!

Anything for an afternoon off!

maybe I have every intention of going to work tomorrow, just resting tonight, but I've still got a bad head and feel a bit queasy so will have to play it by ear

Geeklette · 12/07/2012 17:04

keep good luck to MrKeep for tomorrow, fx for his aim Wink

maybe we had planned to do the charlbury beer festival on saturday but the weather forecast was so appalling that even with our tents and waterproofs we decided we would probably be best giving it a miss. We pooled our beer money together and bought the first box set of GoT though, so at least this cycle's foreplay is now sorted Grin

maybe really? I couldn't find anything about CPs bringing AF forward on the internet, mostly it was people saying AF was late so I put it down to the agnus castus which I have heard can shorten rather than lengthen the LP in some people. Ok, so maybe I don't need to have glow in the dark wee then...

cartoon yes, I tested positive two days in a row, but the second day was much fainter than the first and within 20 minutes of testing I was bleeding very heavily.

frootz !!! well hello there stranger :) You are very brave to try to hold off from the obsessing temping etc. I'm not quite sure how I managed to hold off for 11 years, I think it was only because I was in complete ignorance of so much! My ov symptoms are mostly cramping, EWCM and cervix position - definitely higher and softer towards ov time, but it still varies so much day to day that I couldn't use it alone to pinpoint ov. I tend to have the raging horn from CD1 so that is no help to me :)

sweetie and keep I missed mentioning earlier, you are both quite right and it is very promising that there is proof that MrSwimmy and MrsEggy are doing well with their speed dates. I just worry that a) we've been trying for so long - these are almost certainly not the only cps I've had, just the only ones i've known about, so what is my body doing wrong that it can't keep them; and b) with MrGeek's diabetes, sperm DNA fragmentation is a huge risk and it could be that his sperm is simply no longer capable of creating a viable embryo. I am a born worrier, so these kinds of things do tend to go round and round my head a lot.

I've managed to wangle an early finish so am back home at about the time I would have been leaving the office, yay! Now, what to do since I have the whole evening (and the whole house!) to myself for a night...

keepitgoing · 12/07/2012 21:25

We are going to latitude festival this weekend, for my ,gulp, 30th bday. Weather forecast is shocking... :) have got the condoms (ha ha) - I do like tent-sex!

geek I see your point, but then we all worry about everything. It's good you have icsi coming up, but you never know what'll happen before then

sparkly I'd take another day off. After all you should be taking it easy in your condition!

Girls we've not had a bfp in ages. Who's next, sparks and imps?

cartoonface · 12/07/2012 22:00

Haha tent sex! Have been indulging in sff blooming condoms hate the things but I think if I held off any longer dp would be distrote and its only been a wk! He doesn't leave me alone hehe.

Princesslovelyboo · 13/07/2012 00:08

I am a bit birthday drunk :) and wanted to say hiya.

Geeklette · 13/07/2012 06:55

boo hope your birthday went well, and you had a lovely time :) You are very brave to risk drunken posts Grin

keep enjoy the festival, poor weather is all part of the fun no?

I have a cold. Been so long since I last went down with anything I'd forgotten what it was like to not be able to breathe at night. I know who gave it to me and I shall find ways of making them suffer!!

SecretSparkle · 13/07/2012 07:05

boo horned the head this morning?

geek oh dear, get well soon, have colds sucks monkey balls!! My temp is up this morning so staying in bed! Weird though as now I know what's 'normal' from taking my temp i know what's abnormal!!!

SecretSparkle · 13/07/2012 07:23

That was Blates meant to be how is the head?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2012 07:45

Go Boo did you do something nice?

Sparks am very pleased you're staying in bed. I know why you mean about temps, you know you're getting ill before you feel it!

Am off to my networking thing today. Most of it is finding out about my potential employers and what a job with them will involve. It will be so nice to be spending the day with people I don't know and work with! FF agrees now, I am 3dpo. I have never had sore boobs so early on, so m hoping I have a nice high level of progesterone Smile

Must go and make breakfast. I'm starving

Princesslovelyboo · 13/07/2012 08:00

Morning, I had am amazing birthday it was really lovely. No hangover, I am a very lucky girl like that GrinI don't know what possesed me to drunk post, thankfully it was just a hiya :)

I will catch up and post properly later and what's with the muesli? I'm off to hunt out a bacon sarnie Wink

Geeklette · 13/07/2012 08:08

sparks you are doing the right thing, particularly after yesterday's little drama. You also seem to have developed a severe case of imp fingers, for which I recommend bed rest, copious amounts of knitting and plenty of TLC Grin

boo glad you had a good time last night, you deserved it x Though I also had a muesli-type breakfast, despite a glass or two of wine last night.

Got up stupidly early this morning, which is ironic considering I could have had a lie in thanks to going to my blood test rather than directly to work. Hey ho! All the more time to spend on here :)

Solars · 13/07/2012 11:00

Hello, sorry I've not been around a lot lately, busy with work and I seem to have developed a stinky cold which has knocked me for six as I've not had one for years and have completely forgotten how wretched you can feel, on the plus side DH has been incredibly sweet with the vapour rub and plying me with copious amounts of fluids and soup.

Boo a belated happy birthday to you! Well done on the non-hangover morning and can I join you for a bacon sarnie hunt, I feel ravenous even though it's only 10.30am!

Geek you poor love, hope you're doing ok and good luck for your blood test today

Keep good luck to your DH too!

Sparkes good call staying in bed, hope you feel better soon

Maybe good luck with the networking, hope you meet your future employer there!

Sweetie hope you are well, these guidelines I fear seem to be open to interpretation I think, as both the consultants we saw weren't too sure either, one said you have to start and finish before 40 and the other thought it meant starting it before 40. Anyway I have booked an appointment with our GP next week as the letter has to come via her, but I am working on a template which she may or may not feel is helpful. We are also going to be seen privately and see what options they may be able to give us. Did you manage to sort out a private appointment by the way?

Frootz I don't seem to get any ov symptoms, but a couple of times when I was on clomid I did get the ov pains, mitzysomethingorother.

Hope everyone else is well!

cartoonface · 13/07/2012 14:41

Geeklette · 13/07/2012 17:53

Haven't we been a quiet bunch today, ladies!

maybe how did the networking go? What are your tips for the less-sociable of us who may have to network one day? And most importantly, did you get a job out of it?!

solars you poor thing, colds aren't fun especially when you've not had one in a long time. Brooking you feel better soon, though I'm loving hearing how DH is spoiling you :) It sounds like you should go with Consultant #2, the 'start but not necessarily finish' one. Good luck with your GP, it's good to be prepared in advance and hopefully they will find your draft letter useful.

boo I hope you didn't end up with a stealth hangover, you know, the kind that sneak up on you part way through the day because you didn't realise that you were still technically drunk when you got up Grin

My day/week/fortnight has been bloody awful, but tonight it is Friday night and this is the last time MrGeek is allowed any form of nooky before his date with the jar on Monday. Unfortunately I am still AFing, and my nose is blocked. I can see I am going to have to be very inventive!!!

Oh, I have something funny to tell you - I was in a very long meeting this afternoon with a person who has a habit of over-using a particular word. To make time pass quicker, I started tallying how many times that word was used by that particular person (62 in the space of 14 minutes). I felt kind of bad afterwards, as it's a really childish and unprofessional thing to do to a work colleague... except I found out afterwards that two other people in the meeting did exactly the same thing (they counted 61)!

Imps7 · 13/07/2012 18:33

Yo homegirls s'up uh uh uh yeh innit [shakes her hands at everyone in a totally cool way]

Boo happy rbated birthday! When I saw your post this morning I saw that it was posted after midnight and I couldn't decide if it was your birthday today and you were starting early or if it was yesterday and you were wrapping up!

Geek sounds like you'll be fighting DH off this weekend what with AF AND a snotty nose. Poor you hope you start to feel better pronto.

Joe networking was okay Maybe - I have to do it a lot and it sucks. I find lulls in conversation v v awkward and always end up talking total shite in an effort to avoid silences.

Oooh I can't remember what else has been occurring with you laydeez today. So I'll just ask what you're up to this weekend instead...

Princesslovelyboo · 13/07/2012 20:46

Hiya ladies, how's it going today? Imps it was yesterday and the party just went on a bit.

Geek you could be on to something, have started to feel really nauseous this evening :(

Sorry can't remember what else i have read, have been in a bad mood all evening, some bugger took my bike at spinning and I couldn't do the class, now i feel sick :( So I am going for an early night and see you all tomorrow. Sorry i have not brooked along with you all today and that was all mememe, i will read properly and brook tomorrow.

SecretSparkle · 13/07/2012 20:51

geek shocked that's ive contracted a case of 'imp finger' I can confirm that I've done nothing but watch trashy telly (Tudors) and knit (triangle shawl) all day and think I'm on the mend from all my ailments!!!

How are all the other sickies feeling?

I know maybe must've been busy all day because I've not had a single knitting related message on Ravelry!!Grin

Yarn shopping tomorrow Grin providing I don't have anymore dizzy spells!! I'm planning on my first lace shawl, and might see what bargains I can grab!! They had some nice chunky stuff in last week but I'd need to find a pattern!!

Forgot what else has been said!!

cartoonface · 13/07/2012 21:07

Me and dp are talking about our up coming specialist appointment and wondering wot they mite do and how they'll help us have a baby. Now maybe I'm a bit thick but I'm thinkin that we won't need IVF cos we do get pregnant? Am I totally wrong with that?

Geeklette · 13/07/2012 21:20

Damn, haven't been on ravelry in months, the nearest group to me was miles away so never bothered going back... must join the bricking group (aka the brooking-knitting group)!!

sparks i did a bramble stitch shawl last winter, I'ts fab and really great for cold days.

boo hungover, or... diffed! Happy birthday to boo/you :)

Ok, going to head off now as have had far too much wine. Told my work colleague today that we are trying (needed to due to forthcoming work commitments) and MrG is planning on telling his closest work colleague next week. Makes it all a bit more real, esp since my work colleague has had a number of miscarriages. No plans as yet to tell dink-boss, who is being a real dink by the way. Hey ho, time will tell and all things will end!!!!
