oh scarlett that is such good news! Why did the previous consultant give you such a low chance, was it because you have just one tube?

He was of the opinion my eggs were shit, and today she explained what factors he'd based that opinion on but also discredited the source, she said it was only looking at one or two factors not the whole picture.

Good news, I've seen my little bean with a flickering heartbeat, measuring exactly as it should be, 7wks 1day. We are very very very happy!

For anyone who's had an hsg, would I be ok to go in on my own, or will I need dh with me? Our appt it at 11ish, in a diff hospital to the one he works in, so he'd need to take the morning off and I don't want him to have to unless totally necessary

I have been a busy brooker, my teenager fell off his trampoline yesterday and broke his bum (hurt his coxic (sp?) but it sounds better to keep telling him he broke his bum) We spent most of last night in Minor Injuries and all of today gingerly getting off and on the sofa. poor lad, and he is of course of an age when he does not want me to have a look at him to see of the bruising is coming out

I've just been insulted by the canteen staff, I went in to order some brekkie, slimming world friendly, bacon, beans and tomato. They kept offering toast and sausage but I didnt want any!! Then just as I was paying up the woman at the till went to the other woman, "Some women on diets think carbs are really bad for you, funny it's never the skinny ones that think that" I'm thinking a strongly worded email to the manager might be in order, Im not exactly massive!!!

Solars I'm glad you are staying positive and are thinking about other things like egg donation. Re the change to the guidelines, the revised NICE guidance is due out in October, so I would suggest writing a letter of complaint now and referencing that news article. And of course you're still only 39 at the moment, so I think it's wrong that you are being denied treatment in any case. Especially given the delays.

Keep and Scarlett it sounds like you both had very positive days yesterday, I am so pleased for both of you. And great news about getting your tests in Keep. My AF is due the day before my appointment (if I have ov'd) which will be perfect timing!
