Lisa I had a couple in my 2ww. You can't put your life on hold for ifs. I had a couple of special occasions and couldn't have gotten out of it. Since getting my BFP however I have stopped completely.

Went to docs, he was very depressing with his mc stats. Told me just to sit tight and see what happens. EDD is 17 March. Feeling a bit depressed now.

Thanks Maclairey, that's kind of what I was thinking, just guess I wanted to hear it from someone else!

The doctor told you that Maclairey?! That's outrageous! He should be helping you celebrate, not bringing you down. Get a new doctor!

I think you'll be ok Lisa. Obviously it is completely up to you but like Maclairey said, you can't put your life on hold. If you were going out to get wrecked then of course I would say no but a glass or two of something fizzy I personally feel is fine. Even if you were pg, it won't be sharing your bloodstream yet I think. Sure I read that somewhere.

And even if you're pregnant you can have a couple of glasses of wine a week, if you want to, so I wouldn't worry too much about it today, when you may not be anyway! :-)

Thanks for the responses. Went and had two glasses of lovely champagne it's gone straight to my head but was worth it. All I can say is thankfully my boss is not coming in today!!

Almost made a show of myself by crying at work today. And I've never done that (about work, anyway) before. My boss snapped at me in front of everyone and I got a wobbly chin...held it in, thankfully. I'm clearly VERY hormonal! And still 8 days til testing!

I may have to have a sneaky test on Sat though, purely because we are meant to be getting smashed in the afternoon, and that may not be good if I am pregnant. Or should I just assume I'm not and get trolleyed?!

Girls, the waiting doesn't get any easier even when you get your BFP. Be prepared to be very anxious and worried. I think the wait until the 12 week scan may actually kill me.

Got my cb phone call today as they got my paperwork. More questions but it's all on its way. A new toy!

Feels so far away doesn't is nicola?! I don't think time goes quick though! My symptoms today are slight twinges and an appetite for destruction. Usually I do have to battle with hunger the week before AF but this feels a bit early.

If you have the spare tests then do it! Might not be a conclusive answer but still...

Other Qs were about your age, ethnicity, cycle length, ovulation day. There's a specific one about being from Spanish descent which threw me completely cos I am but I've never been asked it and wasn't sure how far back they wanted to go!

Now, that is a weird one. Wonder what that's about?! Not so far as I know, but who knows?

And what if you hadn't tested before and didn't know?

Are you all ups and downs like me? I'm having a 'not pregnant' hour or so. I'm sure I'll swing back to pregnant later on though.

I would be nice to sleep through the 2WW and wake up to test and DTD through the other 2 weeks!

Yeah, I know its very early days, especially if I didn't ov until Monday, but sometimes I think maybe this is it and then others I think it isn't. Can change hourly like you say. And there is still another 8 days to go at least!
