All this talk of breast feeding is making me even more broody! DS is 18mo now and I stopped BF at 8 months due to me returning to work. I want to do all that bit again!!! I'm so lucky to have my boy but as it has been said down thread, it doesn't stop the yearning.

fingers crossed for you tiddley

resipsa sorry you got a flaming from those fierce AIBUers who seem to have nothing much going on in their own lives as they spend all day on the interent making people feel bad

Hope everyone has a productive baby-making week Wink

kittykatsforever · 17/06/2012 20:49

Whenshewas- I know right Shock can you see why I call the book my bible lol, she goes down at 7-7:30 and wakes 6:30 to 7:30 most nights, the 6:30 because of the light I think
No sky discovery for me :(

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/06/2012 21:01

kitty I meant no surprises as you are only 6dpo

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/06/2012 21:04

I don't have sky either. Let us poor freeview only types know what it is all about.

tedmundo · 17/06/2012 21:05

tiddly fx for you. Looking good though..!? Metallic taste a sure sign I think.

kitty I think 6 dpo is a new record! You know it can't have even implanted yet?! That really made me smile. God the 2ww makes us bonkers doesn't it?

wishful I didn't want to bother losing the last preg weight as hoped it would just be straight into next preg but here we are 3 months on and I am running out of excuses.

winkle nice one! I have a new top purchased specially for getting to old weight. It is in wardrobe winking at me.

I had a look at those CBFM on amazon. Wow they get good reviews. I think I will give it another 3 months of just using eBay cheapo dip sticks, but if no BFP will invest in the fancy gadge.

The more relaxed approach this month has helped keep me sane. Although ask me that in 2 weeks .....

resipsa · 17/06/2012 21:06

Kitty - ours must be separated twins! She's 16 months and sleeps from 6.30-7.00pm to 7.45am. She only gets up then cause we take her to nursery and go to work. Last Sat, after DH had a night out on the beers and got in after 1am, the little angel slept until 9.30am. I can count on 1 hand the number of times she's woken us in the night since about 8 weeks. She just LOVES to sleep! Gets that from DH, for sure.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/06/2012 21:17

resipsa don't rub it in Grin.

Mine is the complete opposite. She hates sleep, fights it like mad. This evening she wanted to play the hidding her stuff game. Basically hides stuff and pretends to look for it while saying gone every two seconds.

She was doing it tonight as I put her to bed. So hard not to laugh but I am trying to make bed time as dull as poss.

If I do manage to conceive no 2 I will be coming to you and kitty for tips.

lollypopsicle · 17/06/2012 21:32

:o at ted's

kittykatsforever · 17/06/2012 21:52

Girls you have made me lol tonight
6dpo I am crazy, I told you! Even I know it
Recipia- yeah dd defo gets in from dh, he can sleep 14 hrs easily!! She must have the slightly naughtier geanes then her twin mind as the only time I can count on her waking early is if I dare to venture a night out! For nursery yes I have to wake her!
Whenshewas- I couldn't keep a straight face for that hide game lol, it's so hard when they are naughty but adorable at the same time isn't it!
Ted I'll be joining you next month rocking in the corner no doubt :)

kittykatsforever · 17/06/2012 21:55

Also Whenshewas- I had hoped your were saying it because it was early and not because you knew something I didn't lol
( has my dh been talking about the lack of nookie!!!)

backwardpossom · 17/06/2012 23:00

Bloody hell you lot can talk!!!

winkle2 · 17/06/2012 23:08

Lol @ ted's Blackadder reference!

Me! I'm hoping! Getting a bit dispirited though. DS was conceived by happy accident, at the drop of a hat.

No such luck this time, been trying since January. Well not trying as such, just not using contraception. Perhaps should try a bit harder! Grin

tiddleypompom · 18/06/2012 07:46

threeleftfeet don't get dispirited! Since Jan isn't really that long and if you've not been 'trying' as such, at least you have the option of upping the efforts :o

Well no conclusive symptoms here I'm afraid, though I did buy some more folic acid yesterday 'just in case'. Feeling better after a sleep, though I was in bed last night by 8pm!! Extreme measures I know. Happily DS didn't wake till 6.15, which is MUCH more like it (it has been closer to 5am recently).

Caught up with posts this morning which made me laugh. kitty that's exactly why I force myself to hold on to poas, as if I got an early BFN it wouldn't be conclusive and might just make me feel a bit disappointed. Hang on in there & lock those sticks up till another fews days!

I shall buy my sticks today if the weather allows an escape from the house this afternoon. In which case I shall wait till the morning either tomorrow or Wednesday. A little earlier for me too I think (though not sure) - I am about day 27 of cycle, which are often around 30 days. I should by rights be hanging out in the June thread, but it was SOOO crowded in there Wink

Do we have a preference for stick types? I hate the clearblue ones - prefer an absence of a pink line to a NOT PREGNANT :o

winkle2 · 18/06/2012 08:52

Eurgh I had a bad night sleep and my illness seems to have regressed. Feel crappy but on way to work anyway :( Want to have a day off but not sure I can as I'm covering for someone on hols plus I have a job interview on weds morn so already got Wednesday morn off. And would you believe it my CBFM gave me a high reading so I should dtd tonight.

Arrrggghhh

Will dose up on lemsip!

Oh no winkle, bad times! I know there's no point saying leave it as I know I wouldn't even if I ended spluttering and coughing all over dh, not the most seductive picture though is it lol
I am going to try and hold off tiddley although taking my tests with me just incase, I always use a cheepey first as don't like wasting money on a neg but on the 2 times I've had a bfp I've had to buy a cb, I love seeing 'pregnant' staring up at me :0
The last 2 times though I did do an opk test first just as I had them and they were both pos, these were both after af was allready due though but less harsh to get a no on them- go figure?!

tedmundo · 18/06/2012 09:43

Oh poor you winkle. And today turning out to be a 'high' day as well! Do the bare minimum at work, keep your head down and drink lots. Being ill sucks.

whoooaaaa. The cat just fell off the table!! Made me jump. He's the zoolander of the cat world .. All looks and no brains.

So, managed to DTD for the past 2 nights. Def oved yesterday as the pain in my side was agony. Will go for another Sesh tonight, day off then one more on wednesday before the start of the crazy time.

I love blackadder and find Rowan Atkinson in a pair of tights a fine sight.

testing on Sunday 30th. unless I crack early. Which is this Saturday by kittykats standards hahahah!!Wink

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 18/06/2012 09:47

Oh winkle you have too many things to get through today and tomorrow.

Excited you are starting to become fertile. What cd are you on?

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 09:48

Awww, winkle, sounds like we are sharing germs! :-/

I did make H2B DTD yesterday, however! May have been no point, as I was CD27, but as it's my first post-pill month I'll keep DTD until there is no hope.

Unfortunately, I did get some snot on him, ha ha! TMI?!

NicolaHazel · 18/06/2012 09:49

Oh, and I bloody love Blackadder too :-)

DH is off for a couple of nights to see Pearl Jam in Manchester... I think we might miss ov... fingers crossed we've done enough though and haven't missed it yet!

tiddleypompom · 18/06/2012 12:09

The pants on head episode was sad though wasn't it? The over-the-top scene at the end

Get well soon ill people - hot bath before one last burst of energy in bed :o

Hi peeps. I'm still reeling from the AIBU responses (to a fairly innocuous post) which had me down as a selfish harridan with a whiny kid in tow. Too many assumptions made with too few "if"s in the responses.
Having a bad day today of the "why am I not (nearly 6 months) pregnant" variety. Don't want to hijack this optimistic thread with sad tales of m/c, but can someone out there just reassure me that sometime soon I won't measure each day by how many days it would have been until the due date if only things had gone differently?
DD howled when I dropped her off at nursery and so mentally beating myself up with this question - how can you be so desperate for another DC yet send your only DD into the care of strangers when she'd obviously prefer to stay with you?
See what I mean about a bad day???
Any one got any good jokes?
