I like having to carry jelly babies with me and I get a lot of new toys to play with

Amazing how OV must have been pushed out this month though. They did a urine test in hospital to check if I was pg and it was negative so assume (even though it was 2 days before AF) that it would still be negative?

I admit there is a teeny bit of me that is hopeful. Even though I know it would be most unadviseable

LittleMissSnowShine · 15/06/2012 13:09

Ted - no probs, mumsnet mates for life ha ha. Also, yes, looking forward to some new autumn-winter maternity wear.so will be browsing Isabella Oliver et al and.looking for bargains. Feeling ok, worst time of day is from.about 1-3 cos I just feel wrecked!.but if im not at work I.just take a nap cos thats when DS is napping hee...zzz

fatasbutter · 15/06/2012 13:43

Hi all.

kick so sorry to have read of all you've had to go through - glad you can start to try and get everything sorted now though and feel better

Just wondering, are people generally using the clear blue digital ov sticks? I've never used them before but thought I would throw some money away give it a whirl this month! I think I may be missing ov when we are dtd - slightly chaotic lives mean can't guarantee dtd eod! What's the general verdict on them?

kittykatsforever · 15/06/2012 13:52

I've used a few brands, clearblue digital are the best in the sence your not analysing a line thinking is it/ isnt it, I used to use the cheepies until I thought yes that looks + then a cb to confirm, I liked seeing the :) ( sad I know) however they have all worked and cb a vvvv expensive in comparison!

kittykatsforever · 15/06/2012 15:28

Sheldon?

KickTheGuru · 15/06/2012 15:32

I used to have an imaginary turtle called Sheldon

fatasbutter · 15/06/2012 16:13

Thanks kitty - I'm going to try them tmw and see how it goes...

Big thumbs up for Sheldon here too! (not the turtle, sorry!) Wink

tiddleypompom · 15/06/2012 16:52

I gave up using the opk sticks whilst ttc first time - primarily as I ran out & didn't fancy forking out again. Tbh I dont think they helped me at all - I got fixated on them & stopped listening to my body. I conceived DS by swi on 11th day rather than 14th incidentally. Have been told that's why we had a boy?!? Hmm

fatasbutter · 15/06/2012 17:00

Yes, that is exactly why you had a boy Hmm !!! I love hearing all those old wives tales!

tiddleypompom · 15/06/2012 19:18

Well if I do get a BFP this time round it'll be another boy, guaranteed according to the old wives!

When d'you all reckon we can start symptom spotting?! I have a a glass of wine still half full after more than 20 mins Shock so clearly I am already pregnant :o

wishfulthinking1 · 15/06/2012 20:06

Tiddleypom-never too early if you ask me! Slow alcohol consumption defo a positive sign! Cd13 today- might try to squeeze an extra shag in tonight as df has stag do tomorrow. Imagine he'll get so pissed that his sperm will swim the wrong way on Sunday so need to maximise opportunity!

What are you all up to this weekend?

oi, add me to your bloody mates list!! x

kittykatsforever · 15/06/2012 20:11

I havnt had an alcoholic drink yet on a Friday night..... I'm clearly having twins eeeek

FloweryBoots · 15/06/2012 20:28

Oh no, I've just pored myself a large glass of red wine, cleary then I am NOT prego!

Dh is away watching the England match in Ukraine so I get to drink what I like (DH thinks once swi has been had, I should have no alcohol - i ignore him, also he doesn't like red wine so I rarely bother with it so it's a bit of a treat when I have it).

Was supposed to be seeing an old school friend this weekend but DS is all chesty this evening and bit of a temp so have had to call it off. Will be stuck in probably cos of the rain and wheezing. Hmmm, indoor activities to keep a todler content not to run wild round the house anyone?!

winkle2 · 15/06/2012 21:03

No drinking here. Am ill on the sofa :(
