Yeah 8 days is too soon but I reacon 10 is a goer, I got af 10 dpo this month

fatasbutter · 27/06/2012 20:42

Boy am I glad I have no sticks upon which to pee!! They would all be gone by now!! I may be able to hold off til Friday, but then I am off work so therefore likely to mysteriously find myself in Superdrug... Hmm

Don't want to disappoint you all if it's a BFn! Will wait....

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 27/06/2012 20:56

Definitely wait, if you test mow or tomorrow it will be bfn (but only because it is too soon).

Jenjen85 · 27/06/2012 20:56

A question for all you TTC experts I'm 4 dpo (i think) and I'm just wondering when if any implantation spotting would occur? I keep havin hot flushes which I don't usually have, also been rly hungry but also feeling sicky too any ideas?

fatasbutter · 27/06/2012 21:03

It only happened to me once jen and that was about 7/8dpo I seem to recall (although wasn't so aware of these things at the time!) - I read that it happens in only about 25% of pregnancies tho

redstrawberry · 27/06/2012 21:15

jenjen after OV the egg will travel come down the fallopian tube, then fertilise and implantation can take upto a week. I guess that's why you get more accurate hpt results after 12-13dpo.

If you google 'implantation calculator' I'm sure there's one on baby corner.com or something similar. It gives you possible dates when you might implant based on your cycle length.

redstrawberry · 27/06/2012 21:16

Fx for you fatas

Jenjen85 · 27/06/2012 21:21

Thanks redstrawberry just googled it and it reckons that implantation should occur around 1st July!! Fx :-)

Just dtd and am doing the winkle. Bit of a miracle we did anything. As I was walking towards the bed I slipped and fell over. Ended up in a crumpled heap at dh's feet (and yes I was naked).

It really hurt but I had to pretend it was fine as I needed him to shag me.

Still not convinced I have oved as I have no ewcm, normally I have quite a bit. Has anyone else experienced this?

LOL Whenshewas!!
Also agree fatas - wait as you are more likely to get an accurate result.
I'm 30 and just became godparents, with the inevitable isn't it about time you dropped the 'god' bit!
Having read up on here (many thanks to you all for sharing because I have learnt a lot in the last 48 hours) realise I wasn't very prepared.
About 4dpo and no signs as yet although sore breasts all week, but watching as seem to have become stupidly impatient. Anyway fx for us all!!
just in case, any recommendations for ptk's?

YikesHereWeGo · 27/06/2012 21:37

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted since the weekend. Been reading all your posts in lunch breaks etc but work is so hectic that it's hard to reply on iphone in my short breaks even though I want to! Thank you all for your positive comments after my 'blue period' on Sunday; I did snap out of it on Monday and have been dtd with gusto this week with a much more positive mental attitude. I'm on CD19 at the mo and although I think I really should have ov'd at the weekend (based on dates and opk results) I'm really not sure coz of my temps and lots of ambiguous opk results, so I'm gonna keep on going with dtd every day until I see my temp go up. My cycles are pretty long so I wouldn't be at all surprised if I'm still pre-ov.
Gosh, so much has happened this week with you all, I don't know where to start....
welcome to all the newbies (puppy, sox, photo, mersea, jenjen), fx for a BFP this month for you all (and us all!!)
fatas gave me the biggest giggle this week with the 'train incident' - lol Grin - shortly followed by lolly with her twins fantasies and photo's comment re neighbours-style poas!
You can include me in the 'oldies' crowd, I'm 37, a few months off 38 with no DCs to date. Hoping that will all change soon though :)
Sorry to hear that AF arrived for lisamol. Grrr.
I'm liking all the symptom spotting from everyone, I'm even doing it myself (primarily to justify the annoying spots that I've got recently) even though I know I probably haven't even ov'd yet, but it's all fun & games Grin.

winkle2 · 27/06/2012 21:47

Keeping my fingers crossed for you fatas

Hi resipsa sorry I am a bit confused what is a francophile?

Hi all I tried the OPK for a while but did not have any joy with them, now I realise that I was probably not ov at all but hopefully the clomid has changed that. One downside of the drug is that it can dry your cm, which does not help has anyone heard any tips on how to improve your cm? I have tried Conceive Plus which is great if you can get it where you want it!!

fatasbutter · 27/06/2012 21:56

Thank you all for the fx - I will remember that if I get my hands on any sticks before Friday...

whenshewas - ouch but also Grin and absolutely top marks for effort there too - can just imagine grimace swiftly replaced by enthusiastic smile... Very single-minded!

kittykatsforever · 27/06/2012 21:57

lol at whenshewas, i think i found your prented you were fine even more funny then "the toilet" incident, the things we do for babies sex

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 27/06/2012 22:04

I found the toilet incident funnier, would rather be in naked crumpled heap in front of dh, than knickers round ankles in front of strangers I have done both and being caught having a pee is worse Grin sorry fatas but you really did make me smile

wishfulthinking1 · 27/06/2012 22:06

Hi all-
Lots to catch up on again! Sorry not to name check many people but hi to all the newbies, fatas- sounds good! Sunshine- defo wait a few more days, whenshewasbad- nice work on the feigning being fine.

No news with me- no tummy /implantation cramping today- bummer!
X

fatasbutter · 27/06/2012 22:28

Yes the falling over is more physically painful but the 'toilet incident' leaves mental scars that will haunt me forever!! Actually I'm glad it made people laugh - think the scars are already fading really!!
Both slapstick moments but I'm sure when 's composure was far greater than mine at the critical moment!! Grin

tedmundo · 27/06/2012 22:43

Ladies, anyone up??

I have just POAS and .... and .... and ..... BFP!!!!!

I am only dpo10 so trying to stay calm and think that it could be a cp, but right now, at this very moment in time, I am pregnant!!!

resipsa · 27/06/2012 22:46

Mersea - sorry, ignore me, just thought your name might be showing a love of all things French (mer meaning sea and read together sounding like merci for thank you) - have spent much of today dreaming about next hols to Nice (not until Sept Sad) hence comment. Love Nice particularly cause we went there when I'd just found out I was pregnant with DD. DH was not convinced so made me get a French CB digital test there and so instead of "pregnant", it read "enceinte". .

resipsa · 27/06/2012 22:48

Whenshewas - almost as funny as peeing on Virgin with an unlocked door!

wunnybunny · 27/06/2012 22:51

huge grats ted

redstrawberry · 27/06/2012 22:52

Omg omg ted so happy for you
yay!!! Congratulations Smile this is a good start!

Have you said anything to DH?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 27/06/2012 22:53

TED I am awake.

I could not be more pleased for you. A BFP at 10dpo is amazing (espec using nightime urine). What stick did you use? Did you get any implantation spotting / cramps?

So very excited for you.
