I tried to do it naturally back when Trying for ds1. Lasted 1 month! Then got the opks and bingo .. Preg that next month.

I was a lot younger then though :(

There are a lot of opk obsessives on this thread, I am really bad. Last month I was using 4 a day.

CD17 here. Monitor hasn't asked for any sticks since Sunday so I guess I'm officially in the 2ww. My app says I'm sure to OV this week though! So glad I got the monitor or I would have missed it! Going to dtd tonight just in case.

Winkle - looks like the monitor was a good investment! What made you think you were ovulating a lot later than you are- was it the app or a number of things?

That monitor seems like a sound investment then winkle, I dont get those apps! How can they possibly know what's going on, even with the analysing cm I've never done that as its open to so much interpretation and chating sounds like an insane amount of effort temp taking and such,our thread should just be called poas lol

Yep I was going by the apps on my phone...

Evening all. Reckon I can feel ovulation niggles today, but on both sides, which is unusual for me. I have therefore concluded that I am oving on both sides and will have a BFP with twins cue a full day of fantasizing about life with 'the twins'... like how we would fit them in the house, how DS would adjust, what I will do about childcare when my maternity leave with 'the twins' finishes.

I am nuts, really... and I'm not even officially on the 2WW yet.

Anyway, on the whole is less more thing: That Taking Charge of your Fertility book says that every day around ovulation is ideal if sperm count is normal. If sperm count is low then every other day is recommended to allow time for the swimmers to gather in numbers. I guess it just depends on your own personal circumstances.

One thing for sure, you've got to be in it to win it, so I'm going for sunshine's more is more approach this month!

I think I'm 6 dpo- perhaps/ maybe! Anyway- defo think cm is creamier than normal- cant remember if it was like this last time or not!

wishful I am 6dpo too I think! Ate a massive dinner and it has triggered 'implantation' pains!! Ha ha! Am going to try so hard to wait as long as poss to test...!

I've gone for the monitor as well, don't think I'm pg this month (but not due to test until after Friday) so will start the process next month. I now I'm not old in terms of fertility really, but I just don't want to be trying for months and months on end. I'm a very impatient person!!

And I've found the cheapy ov sticks to be a bit cr@p, tbh. Didn't get anything past a really faint line this month (admittedly, not guaranteed to have ov'd) but not putting my faith in them completely!!

I have started taking my EPO pills yesterday. The box says 2000mg per day anyone know if I should be taking 2000mg or 3000mg?

Kind of relieved I only need to take it till OV. The pills are mammoth in size. I thought the pregnacare ones were bad.

Oh good grief! Massive embarrassment!! Forgot to lock the door on a virgin train and 2 girls came in whilst I was having a pee!

Was so distracted with calculating earliest possible time I could do a frer, as well as the wee all over the floor, that I didn't press the lock button! And now they are telling all their friends and laughing - I could just die!!

I'm looking for a July BFP too - but it's one of the few acronyms I know about - I have no idea what most of you are talking about - I admit.

Will be DC#2 we hope, after a long break. Only been off the pill for one complete cycle but feel more back to normal now so we'll see. As for length of cycles, I haven't a clue yet! We going for the more is more approach this week..

fatas - thanks for the lunchtime entertainment. Genuine LOL moment. I try never to use those ones for that very reason. If I have to use one, I go all OCD about locking it and watch the light go on and off about 10 times before I start! Hope your stop is soon and you can get off!

Good luck with July bfp. Do you know when you might be expecting af ('aunt flo'/period) or expecting to take a test (poas (piss/pee on a stick) if you know that one)?

Everyone seems really up for it and positive this month. Am I the only one who has moments (days?) of apathy about the whole thing and wonders "can I be bothered with it all this month"? Those moments are interspersed with days of twins fantasies , of course!
