Great news Tiddly! I'm cd13 and DH is away for 2 nights... I'm hoping the sex we have had will be enough, but think this month will be a write off :(

kittykatsforever · 19/06/2012 08:21

You only need one little swimmer, obviously if you get the chance it's best to dtd as much as you can around ov but the last time I had a bfp we had only dtd twice that month so don't worry

SunshineOutdoors · 19/06/2012 08:43

Hooray for the bfp! What's up with the June thread though? Grin Congratulations, you must be feeling wonderful!

Well, I'm on CD24, think I've oved but not sure. Going to keep trying all the way to the end. Before I had dd cycle ranged from 30-45 days, usually 35. Going to test on CD36. I thought it would get easier as the cycle went on, as once past the 'critical days' would just have to breezily wait until testing day. It's a bloody nightmare though! Torturing myself hoping it's already happened.

I go on holiday on testing day, 30th June, so if it's a bfn I'll just have to console myself with Wine Wine Wine in the evenings!

resipsa · 19/06/2012 08:58

Congrats Tiddley! Wow, love that just-found-out-and-it's-our-secret feeling. Glad sun us shining for you too!

HeeHeeHeeBum · 19/06/2012 09:13

Congrats tiddley!

fatasbutter · 19/06/2012 09:20

Hmmm, well we haven't been able to dtd in the last few days as DH away with work and we have a lot of travelling in next 5 days too, so will just have to pin him down whenever possible!! Suspect it may not be enough tho... Hmm we shall see!! Was so pleased to see a little smiley face on the digital screen! Have never used this kit before - but now comes the hard bit cos its cd14 so technically will be in TWW as of tmw...

What was the record for early POAS again?!!! Ha ha!

tedmundo · 19/06/2012 09:29

Congrats tiddley..the metallic taste is the giveaway!

Good luck with the move too!

Glad is is the day off today as last nights DTD was a bit forced. Once more tomorrow and then I can start the 2 ww. Dpo2 today. I am fine, for now! It is when I get into double figures of the dpo I start going loopy loo.

mrsr .. Sorry you find yourself here. I hope this turns out to be a good month for BFPs. June started with a bang and then went to a fizzle!

poorly ladies .. Get well soon!

tedmundo · 19/06/2012 09:31

sunshine I got AF on my holiday earlier this month and it made it all sooooo much more bearable. If it is bad news, though hopefully not, you will find you cope with it better. And being away meant that actually, once we got back I was almost into OV time so this month really has felt very short.

tiddleypompom · 19/06/2012 09:35

Thanks everyone! We're off to sign our sale contract now so life feels like it is changing in a big way!

Fwiw we only dtd twice this month as DH was ill. Think it was on 11th and 14th day of cycle.

Sorry I snuck into the July thread :o

NicolaHazel · 19/06/2012 09:48

Congrats tiddley...let's get a few more this month now!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 19/06/2012 10:07

Yeah a BFP, congrats tiddley I knew today would be a better day.

fatas I dtd last month on cd13 cd17 and cd21. Got a BFP on cd 21, I got a faint BFP, it didn't stick but the positive is it shows you can get pregnant with very little sex.

winkle sorry you are still sick. Do you have an interview today or have I imagined it?

backward it could still be enough. Those swimmers hang around a while you know.

I am on cd 7 here, expecting to ovulate between cd16 and cd21 so am putting off dtd for a while. Don't want to peak too soon. Grin

fatasbutter · 19/06/2012 10:41

Thanks for that whenshewasbad - good to know and sorry it didn't stick. Will try and be extra alluring anyway for next few nights!!

Ooh felt dizzy just then - must be pg!! Just messin!! Grin

Oi fatas behave. No symptom spotting allowed until at least Sat. Grin

Best of luck seducing your other half.

winkle2 · 19/06/2012 13:13

The not shagging loads but getting pregnant gives me hope as I don't feel like I want sex ever again! Feel disgusting!

I'm just about to ring the agency and cancel tomorrows interview. Scared! You know what these recruitment agencies can be like :( Luckily I spoke with them yesterday and was coughing away so at least they know Im not wimping out, I'm genuinely sick!

OpenMindedSceptic · 19/06/2012 14:30

Hello everyone,

Sorry for not posting much, have been keeping a low profile. I was really gutted when AF arrived earlier this month. feeling a bit low now, not much dtd at all (in fact only once yesterday and I am on CD15!) Feel like dtd has become a chore rather than something we should enjoy...
Sorry for the gloomy post!

tedmundo · 19/06/2012 14:54

Hi openminded. Sorry you are having a bad time of it. I am sorry last month was so hard. I think the June thread was a bit too hard core on the shagging and we all got swept up in it. This thread is far more relaxed and less does seem to be more.

Just finished the ironing and wept a few tears while doing it. I always associate ironing with being pregnant as it was a job I struggled with when big. And last time, just before the mc, DH commented while I was ironing that I was starting to show :( Too many memories.

God I hope we get a good month in July ladies.

winkle I hope the agency are not arsecracks about it. Last thing you need.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 19/06/2012 14:57

Hi openminded sorry you are feeling really sad at moment. Almost everyone on this thread sounds like they are having a shocker at the moment. Don't know what to suggest, just wanted to send you a hug (not very mumsnetty thing to do but I think we all need a hug this month).

winkle sorry you are still sick and have had to rearrange interview. The timing is rotten.

winkle2 · 19/06/2012 16:19

Sorry to those feeling crappy :(

OP posts:
wishfulthinking1 · 19/06/2012 17:34

Oh ladies- I'm so sorry lots of you are feeling poorly and sad :-(
Mrs r- sorry to see you here.

big hugs to you ted- as if ironing wasn't shit enough without a load of painful memories attached to it!
And poor winkle feeling rough- hopefully you'll feel less peaky during your peak ......

Sorry- wanted to make a joke to cheer people up and it's the best I could come up with!

I'm currently on cd17 and we've Dtd cd 8, 12, 14 and 17. I think I had ov pain last night (it was far worse than I remember it- I actually went to the loo to check Af hadn't begun as they were really bad craps- has anyone else experienced stronger ov pains after mc or maybe I'm just becoming more aware of everything?

Chances are I'll ov later this cycle because of mc, so going to try to keep going a bit. Bored already though! I waited up for him last night and then he was too tired and I was a bit of a cow- mumbled something about cycle days, rolled over and went to sleep. Woke up in the night feeling like a total cow- he's such a good man, i really don't want to feel bad or guilty. Sometimes I really piss myself off!

This morning he greeted new with a cup of tea and, "do you want to hop on?" such a charmer! then he asked if my app said we could stop now!! I was definitely more juicy this morning (tmi!) is that a sign of ov? I think if we're not successful pretty quick then I might try the ov kits- just so I have an idea of when to do it. This non-stop shagathon is not as fun as it sounds!

X

resipsa · 19/06/2012 17:56

I have to say one thing; everyone sounds like they have really understanding DHs, DPs, D whatevers. I hate it when it feels like a chore but they all seem to be up for it most of the time whether it's CD1
(hmm, maybe not darling) or 25.
I'm on CD7 so gearing up!

kittykatsforever · 19/06/2012 18:05

Hi wishful, I used the opk for that reason- it was getting a chore and we were all for it early after af then a few weeks later fed up and it turned out I didnt ov til cd17-19 so quite late
Also what you said about mc is quite strange, I've never had ov pains before but this cycle after mc I had intense pains in my right side, so much so I had to press into it with my fingers, I actually wondered if it was my kidneys but it was the time I ov and has stoped since which FYI was cd23! Much later then normal

wishfulthinking1 · 19/06/2012 18:13

Kittykat- that's really interesting. I was the same- I had to press it with my hand to check it wasn't appendicitis! It was really painful! Fx it was ov- I've been doing some Internet reading (I'm bad bad bad!) and it seems loads of people don't ov in their wtf cycle. I'm literally shagged out- don't want it to all be for nothing!X

wishfulthinking1 · 19/06/2012 18:14

Eeek- just re-read a post from earlier saying I had really bad craps! CRAMPS! I meant CRAMPS! my craps are fine too you nosy buggers
X

backwardpossom · 19/06/2012 18:17

I don't think I ov'd in my wtf cycle, wishful, and who knows what's going on this month!
